We recently had metal roof installed on our 1923 arts and crafts style home. The roofers were friendly, professional, and respected our property, leaving things as they found them, and not placing ladders in our extensive flowerbeds. The new roof looks amazing! Everyone comments on it, and I have the security of knowing it is likely the last roof I will have to put on the property. New Steel also did a roof for me in 2010 on a century home with a complex roofline. In that case, they were removing chimneys in February! They've always offered fabulous service, and I've never had a moments' trouble with that roof either. I heartily recommend this company!

We booked a steel roof back in January for a March install. Closer to the install date our metal roof arrived on our driveway. Due to 1 windy day, it took 4 days for the roof to be install. Everything went flawless and as painless as you can be. The roof looked awesome especially from a certain distance. Max gave us a very competitive quote which was not the cheapest but in the middle. We chose a stone coated metal to give because it looked less shinny than other metal roofs and you don't need snow guards which are ugly in my opinion. One surprising benefit was that during heavy rain, I could hardly hear the rain drops compared with my asphalt roof. Hence, I had better sleep than when I was often waken up by rain drops on the roof. This might be because the steel was laid over the asphalt so it must act as a sound insulator. Further, the rain does not drop from the eaves troughs as it did with asphalt roof because the steel roof goes into the eaves troughs. Overall I highly recommend steel roof from these guys and I am very happy. If you have the resources DO IT for looks and function.

This company was very prompt, professional and good price. The gentleman who installed it were amazing roofers and did not rush while installing in fidget weather. Jill and Max from the office were great to deal with.

My experience with new steel roofers was amazing. The product I choose is beautiful, slate looking steel shingles that were not available from several other companies I got quotes from. They were well priced. The workers were very very efficient and professional. The team was also very accommodating to other wirkers we had working on other projects at the same time. my house looks amazing. I would highly recommend using this company.

It's been 4.5 yrs since we had our steel roof installed. It has performed as expected and given me extra comfort in severe weather, knowing the 'shingles' would be intact. It is quiet and looks as good as it did upon installation. We left the old roof on, underneath, which was important to us, environmentally.The polite installers worked diligently through the immense heat of the 2010 summer and Max Guerra was a fine salesperson to deal with. They cleaned up and removed all the waste.
I wanted to give the roof and roofing installation a chance to prove itself before I wrote a review.

Fast and dependable outfit. No problems. Did what they said. Finished on time. would recommend to those who want a steel roof. Need to pick up their ladder still and equipment.

New Steel Roofers were referred to us by our neighbour. We called for a quote. The sales rep came and was very friendly and informative, and not at all pushy. There was no back and forth negotiating on price, as they offer their best price from the get-go. It was an easy decision to move forward with the purchase. The installation crew was courteous and cleaned up after themselves very well. We were pleased to be able to change from our old style of roof vents to the ridge-top vents (which will help keep our air conditioning costs down during the summer!). We also have 4 sun-tunnel skylights which they did a great job of capping around. Further, we were impressed with the way the valleys were finished, and over the garage where the shingles meet the siding of the house. Previously we'd had critters in the attic and had some steel mesh attached to block their entry point where the garage roof meets with the soffit of the house. The crew re-installed the mesh without a problem. We chose the Slate MF Plus (3 tone teak) and love the look of it. It's blends in nicely with the architecture of the home and doesn't stand out like a sore thumb. With the stone coating, we like that it's not necessary to have pins or rails to keep the snow from sliding off. We love the roof and would highly recommend New Steel Roofers and proudly have their sign on our lawn. JOB WELL DONE!!

We have a very large roof on a ranch bungalow in Scarborough. We previously purchased asphalt shingles & they deteriorated within 13 years of the 25 year guarantee. We contacted New Steel Roofers & were absolutely thrilled with their product & its installation, which occurred in August of 2014. We purchased the Metstar Slate Series in 3 tone teak. Surprisingly, we have had a number of unsolicited comments by complete strangers on the beauty of our roof, comments from people just walking by the property. The roof does, indeed, look like slate & it is beautiful. It is also very well constructed: where once we had large roof valleys that collected rain & poured over the edges, we now have a peak-type construction in the middle of those valleys that directs the rain more appropriately - no flooding overrun. Also, we have shields that come over the eave troughs, so no more dripping in between the roof & the eaves. Service was impeccable, from sales to installation. 100% recommendation. Doesn't happen often.

This is the second stone coated steel roof supplied and installed with New Steel Roofers. The prices for each were more than competitive. Both projects were done as quoted without extras. The site was cleaned up well on both projects. Max is good to deal with and there is good communication from Holly at the office. The first project was done during the winter and not in ideal conditions however the crew on site were efficient and pleasant. The quality of the workmanship is very high. I recommend all homeowners look into using coated steel roofing for its durability and appearance.

They did what they said they would do and did it on or before targeted dates..The workers did not rush & were very pleasant to work with. Clean up was good.
I only had one comparable quote but they were in line.
