After 7 years, my LG dryer drum cracked. Luckily LG warranty covered the replacement of the drum. They called Elite and Elite called me to make an appointment. After checking the drum, they ordered the drum and after 2 weeks my dryer was working like new. No more thumping and no ripped clothes. It took the repair person 20 minutes to replace the drum. I am a happy customer.

We booked a steel roof back in January for a March install. Closer to the install date our metal roof arrived on our driveway. Due to 1 windy day, it took 4 days for the roof to be install. Everything went flawless and as painless as you can be. The roof looked awesome especially from a certain distance. Max gave us a very competitive quote which was not the cheapest but in the middle. We chose a stone coated metal to give because it looked less shinny than other metal roofs and you don't need snow guards which are ugly in my opinion. One surprising benefit was that during heavy rain, I could hardly hear the rain drops compared with my asphalt roof. Hence, I had better sleep than when I was often waken up by rain drops on the roof. This might be because the steel was laid over the asphalt so it must act as a sound insulator. Further, the rain does not drop from the eaves troughs as it did with asphalt roof because the steel roof goes into the eaves troughs. Overall I highly recommend steel roof from these guys and I am very happy. If you have the resources DO IT for looks and function.

We had about 2600 square feet of drywall repair after removing 6 interior load bearing walls. As well we wanted popcorn ceilings removed. When I asked Mark for a quote, he was busy but showed up as promised and gave me a quote right to the dollar amount based on his formula which he advertises...no guessing. After waiting 2 weeks, he showed up exactly at the time he said he would not 1 minute late. During the work what I found most valuable was his problem solving skills which speaks volumes about his knowledge and experience. We had some unusual situations. For instance our steel I-beams and drywall interface. Other drywall/tapers had no idea what to do except boxing the i-beams (ugly bulkheads). However Mark suggested using Trem-tek molding for the interface. This worked out much better than expected with a nice clean modern interface. Other unusual requests like cement boards and drywall around the fireplace (no mantel) for a modern look and filling huge gaps in awkward corners were taken care of effortlessly. He does the work meticulously but at times seems slower than expected. Consequently the work is done right. I consider him a rare breed of contractors that care more about his customer's satisfaction and his reputation than a quick buck. In particular, when I looked at a completed drywall, it was straight but he saw slight deviations that I had to try hard to see and fixed it accordingly. I am happy to hire and spend my money on contractors like him. Hence, I will highly recommend him to anyone who wants a worry free drywall contractor. It was an absolute pleasure seeing the master at work and he is not hesitant to teach you some of his trade secrets. His price is not the lowest but reasonable considering the wide spectrum of quotes that I had received. Steve Kim Woodbridge, Ontario

In the morning of September 24/2014 we agreed to a contract for the installation of the stairs by October the 25, 2014. It was completed behind schedule. However, it was beyond their control as I have now confirmed with the parts manufacturer. The stairs were satisfactory. The welding on the stringer was off by about 3/8" so wood treads had to be adjusted to make them look straight and reinstalled. The paint peel off but they fixed this properly by sanding and repainting. Herzel addressed every problem we had and I am satisfied with the result. He really wants to keep customers happy and we were one of the pickiest customers. They have very skilled workers like Mark and Richard but they do have some organization challenges. However, due to their commitment to their customers, any problems that may arise they were able to address in a satisfactory manner.

I had 2 load bearing walls removed by Joe and Ivy. After work was done (much longer than estimated), it was all drywalled and I paid the agreed amount. 7 years have passed. The house is uneven and when the inspector came, we could not even sell the house as the posts and the beams construction was not up to code. Second floor doors would gradually not close. One wall was sagging. Unbelievably, one of the posts that he installed was off the basement beam by 2 inches. The home inspector could not believe his eyes. This is a warning to all families to stay away from these guys. Consequently we had to do the walls all over again at a much higher cost.
