Michael & Scott came early yesterday due to a cancellation and were very efficient, polite and were careful to not dirty the house. They were efficient and knew their job We were pleased with their attitude and would be happy to have them here again.

My elderly father had been having problems with the furnace shutting off and the temperature dropping in the house. Neil Durling arrived on time for the after hours (Sunday) service call and the problem was fixed quickly at no charge cuz Dad has the Protection Plan.

We accepted a deal from a Reliance Salesman for replacement/installation of a tankless water heater. The techs arrived promptly and a quick assessment revealed that the project would be much more extensive than advertised. The techs were very professional and assisted us with resolving the issue with the office manager. The team of Steve and Derek arrived on time and successfully installed the system exactly as quoted in cost and time. In addition they picked up and fixed two undetected gas leaks! Very personable, very professional, managing a very clean and efficient work site, Steve and Derek provided first class service, and I would recommend them to friends and family.

Called to report furnace was working but was only blowing cold air.Tech arrived and upon checking furnace advised it was the electronic ignition.He replaced it with a new unit and the job was done quickly and professionally .the repairman was very pleasant and
Curteous.(Neil Durling).He also provide good information with regards to purchasing a new high efficiency furnace

We noticed that our furnace was not working (was about 7 p.m) and after I try restart a couple of times without success I called for the service. The operator (after information exchange) said that the tecnician would call within 20 minuts and this is what happened. After few check with the tecnitian over the phone he came to my home (in less than 10 minutes !). Once arrived, the tecnician started to work and repaired the furnace and did check all possible causes of the failure. I think that the tecnician (his name is Sean) make a great job in terms of promptness and quality of his service. Thank You!.

We went with Holmes Heating to upgrade our water heater to tankless. The technicians ( Jon P. and Warren C.) took the assignment and did a superb job. They took their time to answer our questions and installed the device with the appropriate pipe professionally. My wife and I would like to thank the company as well as the technicians.

We just had Kris from Reliance Holmes Heating & Cooling come to service our Rinnai tankless water heater yesterday. We'd been experiencing issues with poor water temperature (below 100 degress F) since Oct 2012. We rent the tank through Reliance. We had put in several calls to Reliance and had several service appointments by Allied who were never able to pinpoint the problem - "it must be an issue with the venting", "it could be ice/snow build up around the exhaust" etc. We even had Harding take a look in the attic at the venting and they determined it wasn't the cause of the problem. That's when the tech from Harding recommended we ask Reliance to send someone from Holmes Heating (who he highly recommended). The next day we had a service appointment scheduled with Holmes Heating.

Within 20 minutes of his arrival, Kris had identified the problem (a detached wire within the Rinnai system) and fixed it. When he ran the system for the first time after repairing it, he noticed it was quite loud. He immediately suspected the ventor wheel and ended up finding a small wasp inside it, which through it's balance off. Now the Rinnai runs perfectly!

Not only was Kris efficient, knowledgeable and kind, he took the time to explain and demonstrate to me what the problem was and how he fixed it. It's not every day that you find such great service. I'm so happy I requested Holmes Heating to service our Rinnai. I can finally have a hot bath without having to boil a few kettles!

This company is at the top of my list if we ever have any problems with our Rinnai again. I would highly recommend them!

Background. We had two small gas-fired water heaters from another company - not Reliance - in a cramped space with very low headroom, less than 5 feet. One tank leaked on a Friday, the original company responded quickly to emergency call, shut off both tanks. Team with replacement was unable to replace heaters till following Wednesday. No hot water for 5 days :(. On arrival, it was clear that replacement heaters were larger, code had changed. There product offerings didn't include anything that would fit our house other than electric, which would be expensive for us to install. Not their fault.

Over next couple of days, we contacted tried 3 or 4 other companies with no good results. Limited product options, primarily, or too busy to look at arrangement.

Enter Reliance. Estimator found the one location that could accept a gas tankless heater, just fit. Installation crew arrived on time next business day, installed setup in half a day, including removal of old tanks and full cleanup. Free. Everybody was helpful, from sales (Sid), estimator (Remo), scheduling and installation (Derek, Steve, Dean). All: thoughtful and helpful, punctual, professional.

How nice it was to have running hot water after 10 days of cold.

The Holmes heating repairman came on a holiday(family day) apologizing for the time it took for him to arrive. He was courteous, and went to work right away. He explained the problem and told me how much it would cost to repair. He explained due to the age of the furnace that I should have a maintenance plan but he did not push it on me.

Neil Durling came to do our yearly service call and was the most thourough tech we have ever had. We told him about an odd vibrating sound and he located it instantly. Something 3 other techs could not do over the past 3 years. We also had a water leak from a pump and he took the time to really figure out where the source of the problem was. Very glad we had this service tech, I will be asking to have Neil Durling for my next yearly inspection and you should too. Top notch job!
