Two cheerful and helpful gentlemen came to our home and did a very good job -- it was nice to meet Michael & Garet. I am sure our home will be cleaner in the future. We trust Holmes Heating.

Like many people the installation for my gas furnace was delayed because of Enbridge contractors. However I believe that Reliance when out of their way to make up for this ridiculous in convenience, even though the delay was out of their hands. I had a great experience with a sales director (named Erin) who showed me that they are a company that is interested in responding and satisfying customers.

I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Many thanks to Feddie who explained all our options for a new furnace. And, followed up after the install. The installers, Derrick and Matt were very polite, professional and experienced. They made certain that the installation met all the required codes. And, Derrick took the time to answer all our questions about the new system. Thank you so much.

Michael and Garey arrived earlier than planned after calling to confirm the time change. They rolled in the blue carpet and cleaned the ducts in under two hours. They showed the filter before and after and directed the tubing through the garage so the front door would not be open to the cold during the process.. Pleasant and friendly. Very happy with the price.

When I called Reliance Holmes Heating on Thursday afternoon and told them that my furnace was not working, I was grateful that they were able to send out a team to my place within a couple of hours. The two service men who showed up at my door (Neil Durling and Kevin McCaig) were extremely pleasant and professional. They were able to determine pretty quickly that I needed a new inducer motor and got right to work on the installation. After the installation, they made sure my furnace was running well before cleaning up their work area and heading out into the freezing cold. I was very happy to hear that the repair was covered under my warranty. Getting my furnace fixed so quickly was a huge relief, given the crazy temperatures we've been having! I would just like to say 'thanks' to Neil and Kevin for their prompt, courteous and professional service. It's comforting to know that you have great guys like that working at Reliance!

I have a service contract for heating and cooling with Reliance Holmes. Having just purchased the house, I was disappointed that in my first heating season, I was having problems with my furnace - intermittent heating. The maintenance tech who saw it first identified the problem, recognized that it was beyond his competence, and arranged for necessary follow-up. An appointment was made in a timely fashion, very quickly. The service tech who came, identified the actual problem, ordered the parts. The parts package was delivered to my house in short order. I called to say I had the parts, and the necessary appointment was made for the next day. Repairs were made quickly and efficiently.
In sum, all service personnel were knowledgeable, arrived when they said they would, quickly identified problems, and provided accurate service. I was most impressed. As promised, the service plan covered the costs.
Great company, good work. Very highly recommended.

We have had a chronic problem with our new furnace for over a year, which resulted in it shutting down during cold days. We have had numerous service calls, but no clear solution. During his first visit Neil Durling diagnosed the problem very quickly, and fixed it in less than 30 minutes. It related to a faulty installation (done by a separately contracted company at the time) that the other technicians did not spot. He was very professional and informative, and we are very pleased with the final result!
(cost was covered by warranty-i just put the 1 in to make sure it was published)

I called as my furnace was not working and a worker came out that same say! Mike Labelle was friendly, professional and experienced! It did not take him long to find the problem, fix it and even called to order a new part and get a maintenance for the following day! I am fully satisfied of the service I received and Mike Labelle did not leave until everything was done in full. He made some suggestions to help with ventilation in my home and checked my new thermometer. I appreciate quality service and people who still value hard work and ensuring the costumer is happy!

Called Reliance to check our furnance which was not working, they came said they fixed it and left, problem reoccurred, same tech came again, I asked him to check the themostat, did not. Ordered $500 in parts and said it would take 2 weeks over Xmas. During this time I swapped the thermostat myself - fixed the issue and they will not refund the service call - ps I never claimed the extra parts that were needed. Quality has really gone downhill on this company.
