Worst machine ever!! Anymore more than 1 load stops working Still on wash and soaked clothes after 1.5hrs Try to drain and rinse starts wash cycle start again then stops again Turn off/on doesnt work have to unplug for 10 mins if your lucky it will turn on again Already had repair man out several times replaced main computer worked for a couple months then acts up again Place bought from wont take it back. Called your service dept they wont take it back so im stuck with a crappy washer. I hightly dought I will ever buy an appliance from this company again. If my 12yr old washer didnt stop working I would have kept it. it was more reliable then this crap. Bought Feb 2024 1 yr warranty, now I understand why, it wont last, but i can buy extended warranty for a cost.

We bought a Kitchen Aid dishwasher that failed after 7 months, In March 2024, while still under warranty. It's now September and the dishwasher is still not working. The company in our area that Whirlpool contracts to do the repairs is completely useless, as is the warranty with the product. Despite clearly having a defective machine that the company has tried fixing numerous times, Whirlpool will not replace it or refund us. Today we decided to just give up and buy a new dishwasher. It's frankly not worth the stress. Horrible product, horrible customer service. No compassion or care.

Fridge was delivered 23rd April 2024.Both fridge and freezer stopped working 9th July 2024. Technician came out 11th July and diagnosed compressor as the issue, I phoned Whirlpool to establish ETA on the compressor and was told its on back order and will be in Canada 31st July 2024, they are apparently sending me a cheque for $150 to buy a dorm fridge. This is such a poor show, how does a 3 month old fridge stop working and how does Whirlpool not carry compressors in stock?

In a follow up phone call with Whirlpool there was no change in the status on the ETA of the compressor and I was basically told to wait as the technician will call once he is ready to come and install the compressor.

So in the middle of a heatwave we don't have a freezer, have thrown out hundreds of dollars of food, have to wait 3 weeks for a part to arrive never mind getting it installed and Whirlpool thinks $150 is adequate compensation ?

We bought a new Whirlpool side by side fridge that arrived February 27, 2021.  As a new fridge the cost was $2152.63 Cdn including tax. In April, 2024, around 37 months later, there was an observable problem with the ice maker.  Water flowed all over the front door on the freezer side of the fridge.

I called a Whirlpool repair company. The technician came out 5 times as the issue kept reoccurring. After paying upwards of $1800 they said they could not repair the ice maker issue and left.

I contacted Whirlpool Canada customer care suggesting assistance and remuneration. The response was insulting!

They offered me a 15% discount for a new fridge !

Obviously, Whirlpool makes poor quality fridges and practices zero customer care.

Again, do not buy Whirlpool!

I paid to get a $4,500 Kitchen Aid Fridge and had technical issues and complained to head office to get it fixed - KRMF606ESS plus Whirlpool Dishwasher also had problems with smell and one plastic piece came off the top rack leaving it hanging and not allowing the sprayer attached to the rack to work Model WDTA50SAHZ0 Whirlpool Dishwasher. The head office staff are very receptive to help with out of part warranty and not rip you off. While I had a Samsung Fridge and had to deal with SAMSUNG Fridge issues like the mother board and they told me to go away and buy a new one. So I did buy a new one, it being a Kitchen Aid. However, Whirlpool goes out of their way to ensure customer service and satisfaction. Very Impressed. If you have to choose, look at products by Whirlpool Kitchen Aid family. If something happends, they help. I am still finishing off getting these 2 items fixed so hopefully they wont reneg on the agreement but very reasonable and I will always buy from them based on this interaction. I am not paid by or work for them.

Kitchen Aid refrigerator stopped working 16 months after purchase. Due to the high cost of the Fridge, we ensured we had factory warranty and also purchased extended warranty, to ensure our large investment was protected....were we ever WRONG.
Whirpool technicians have been to our house on 3 separate occasions between January 2 - March 18 and replaced countless parts. For 12 weeks now, we have not had a functioning refrigerator and Whirlpool refuses to replace the unit. In those 12 weeks, we have thrown out hundreds of dollars worth of groceries. They continue to want to 'repair' the unit, when it is clear the unit cannot be repaired and they refuse to do the right thing and replace the fridge. We have lost ALL confidence in Whirlpool/Kitchen Aid and would STRONGLY suggest that you do not buy ANY appliances from them, unless you want unreliable appliances and a company that does not stand behind their products or their consumers.

We purchased a new dishwasher on October 6th. On Nov 9th, it was delivered damaged. The installer did nothing to help. I had to call Whirlpool directly. It's been 6 weeks and we still have not had the dishwasher fixed and we still can't use it. We waited 3 weeks for someone to come look at it and we've been waiting another 3 weeks for some part to come in. Whenever I call, I am told that I should call back in a few days for an update!! Why do I have to call them and wait on hold for close to an hour every time? Why aren't THEY calling ME back with updates?! I have literally spent hours trying to have this mess fixed and Whirlpool is doing nothing! They clearly don't care about customer service whatsoever. I will definitely never purchase a Whirlpool appliance again because dealing with its repairs is taking up far too much of my valuable time.

Purchased a Whirlpool Fridge Model #WRS312SNHM a couple weeks and immediately had issues with it. It does NOT have legs and the wheels do not properly lock so the fridge moves when we use it. The door also swings violently open and rattles everything around causing all of our stuff to fall over and break! We had a technician come out and he basically said there is nothing he can do as it is just poorly designed! We want to return our fridge and called Whirlpool with the notes from the technician and they refuse to replace the appliance with a better one. They very politely said we can live our defective fridge and have no recourse!
How a fridge like this made it to market I have no idea. Within in a year the door is going to break from swinging open so hard just from opening it gently not to mention the cheap plastic shelves are 100% going to break. Buyers beware - not only is this a cheap and terrible appliance (with an oversized price tag) but their customer service is horrendous!

Freezer stopped working of less than 12 months old whirlpool fridge. Called multiple times to customer service. Technician came and told us that he is ordering a part to fix it. Then they all disappeared , when I called I got reply that technician is waiting for parts to arrive. No one cared at all when we survived in peak summer without freezer. This company should be banned or there should be a check and balance about how they are breaking trust of customers by selling products that even don't last for a year and they make you go after them to get it fixed.

After first visit of 2 hours the serviceman said that door switch needs to be replaced. Was done but then the issue was not over, said need additional part to be replaced and cost to additional $190.00. said I will be away for ten days and hope you can go ahead, I answer the email to go ahead but no response. I abandoned the repair as it was not 100% sure that this would be the end plus no response so decided to get new machine. Lack of timely response made me aware its not worthwhile.
