Taps Wholesale Bath Centre Inc

We recently purchased a bathroom shower kit and glass shower doors from Taps and were very surprised at the lower prices than some of the other places we visited. They had excellent service and didn't even charge for delivery.

Don't shop at this store! Service is nonexistent. Yes, they have a great showroom. But you'll get better service just about anywhere. Here's my tale of woe:
- taps arrived in the wrong finish. I decided not to bother about it.
- Phoned and left message with sales rep, asking if i could exchange the sink for a different colour. Call was not returned.
- Faucet turned out to have a defect. After discussing with Taps, they said a replacement would be available 24-48 hours later, and that they would call back. They did not call back.
- Phoned Taps to find out if replacement was in. No one would take the call.
- Went to Taps hoping new cartridge was in. Was told to come back when someone else was in. Refused to leave. Was given a replacement cartridge very reluctantly, because it was pulled out of someone else's order.
- Replacement cartridge didn't help. It just leaks differently.

Wish me luck on the rest of the story. The bottom line is that after waiting many weeks for a new kitchen to come on line, Taps has essentially pushed out the working date by selling shoddy products and backing them up with terrible service.

I will never, ever shop there again, and I strongly discourage anyone else from shopping there. (Also, I've since heard that [another company] offers similar products at lower prices, and that you can also pick up similar products in the US at much lower prices.

I did not have the time to go in to the store and purchase two new Kohler toilets. I decided to call and speak with a sales rep who was very responsive and helpful. He took down what I was looking for and called me back within hours with a quote that seemed acceptable. I called him back the next day to say I wanted to purchase them and asked if they could be ready in two days to be picked up by our contractor. He said it usually takes five days but would see what he could do. Once again he called back in hours to let me know he could have them for pick up in 2 days. Our contractor picked them up with no hassles at all. As well, when it came to paying for the price he quoted me on - he realized he had made a mistake and readjusted the price saving me a significant amount on the total. We were very happy with Gabriel who was our sales person and would recommend Taps and him.

Went to a bunch of kitchen and bath stores for fixtures fro my reno. I found Taps to have the most product in show room and the staff was quite knowledgeable. I went in with many questions on products and Peter was very helpful. The draw back to this place is that they can get very busy and you have to wait a while to get help. Price wise I found them to be compareable to the other stores.

I can't tell you how frustrating it is to go and buy and oversized shower curtain one year and then the next nothing is available. Apparently they have lost the source that provided oversized shower curtains, when asked do you have another source, well no we don't but you can do a check online?
What kind of a thing is this? Also, they close at 5pm on a Saturday????? I mean who are they working for? It's just not a place I'll do business in the future. They seem not to be servicing clients, but themselves. I'll try Ginger and see if there's a difference.

Got quotes from several stores selling the Perrin and Rowe thermostatic shower. All were around the same price, except Taps, which was $200 less. I have purchased other things like a kitchen faucet and Taps was also the best price

We were renovating our kitchen and bought their product, which was Franke. We have had problems with the filter but they have always been diligent in catering to our needs!

The lady who served up provided us with good tips, the post purchase was horrific. We had missing parts for our facets and we had to constantly follow up. The facuet handle fell off and once again, very poor followup if at all.

Taps is an outstandingly bad store. When you walk in, the selection and layout is impressive, but try to get service and you quickly realize this is not the place to shop. The service is atrocious. I've bought several things there nonetheless out of sheer desperation. Customer service is non-existent so there is never an apology for the fact that I had to drive all the way out there again to pick up the proper parts for every time they make a mistake or provide me with merchandise that is incomplete. I recently bought two faucets there and came home to find that they gave me the wrong ones. It's actually quite remarkable how they manage to mess up almost every order. How does this place manage to survive. It's beyond me. My advice. Stay away, go anywhere but TAPS.

We went to Taps on a Saturday (bad idea) afternoon to purchase a new kitchen sink and faucet. It took us quite awhile to get help as there is no system - you just try your best to grab a salesperson! We found what we were looking for and ordered it. We were told it would be two weeks from order to delivery. After waiting for a month, I finally called to enquire. They said the fixtures were in, but they had no idea how long they had been in for and it seemed that they "forgotten" to call me. They were not only unapologetic, they were rude. They may have great merchandise, but they have some work to do on their customer service.
