Adt Protectron - Out of Business

We had a home alarm installed last year and the service has been excellent. The salesman and the installer were incredibly helpful. Explained the system in terms I could understand and did eveyrthing to make us comfortable using the new system. Would highly recommed this to any of my family and friends.

The salesperson promised rebate for every referral and that never happened to date. After nearly 1 year the intercom and the door bell is no longer operational. This company has no maintenance in the contract. You've to pay for additional $6 per month. Just wonder what would happen in case of an emergency, perhaps there's hidden fee I'm unaware of. Opting out soon.

We have been customers of Reliance Protectron since it took over from ProTelec and have been satisfied with their service. On one hand we had an attempted break in while away on holiday and our keyholder as well as the police went to our home and Reliance Protectron wanted to charge us with a false alarm charge. We refused and they eventually came to an understanding with us that it wasn't an actual false alarm. In positive news my husband recently got injured at work and I called in to have our monitoring suspended until we could afford it again and they agreed to waive the monthly fee for 3 months until we could get back on our feet. We will continue with them.

We installed ADT Pulse at our house and couldn't be happier. We can remotely control our secutiry alarm, lights and cameras and can view videos of diffrent parts of our house on our smart phone even from abroad. We would highly recommend this company and it's ADT Pulse system to home owners who (like us) travel a lot and want to keep an eye on their house remotely!

Had to cancel the service after being with them (from Voxcom before being bought by Reliance) for 8 years. The reason for canceling is because they refuse to remove the false alarm charge. After explaining my side that false alarm is not caused by me but from their monitoring center agent...they insisted that I pressed the so-called 'panic' button which I don't even know where it is or if it even existed. Was so disappointed with their false alarm agent handling my case as she wouldn't listen to my explanation. The treatment or level of customer service provided was very poor considering my years of being a customer. Even after being called by their retention center agent, I told them that damage has been done and there's no way I will ever reconsider staying with the company. I have to compliment the retention agent for being nice but he should have been the agent at the top of the customer service dealing with customers and not at the end trying to retain them...

We have ADT right now in our home, and so far, we really like the service. We have 2 systems, and the installer did a great job when he came in. We also find the price reasonable.

Salesman pressured my wife to the point where she agreed to sign up for a security system we didn't want. He told her about what he considered the important points on the contract, and had her sign it immediately saying that she was not signing a contract and that it was only an agreement for the 10 day trial. It ended up being a 60 month contract that we can't get out of. On top of that, they told us that there was no way our cats would set off the motion sensor. It happened on the first day, and again on the second day, and they charged us $82 per time. We fought that and eventually had it waived. They also didn't tell us that they were going to drill holes in our wall when we signed up for the 10-day trial. There is absolutely nothing good about this company. They get your contract with fine print and withholding information, and once they have it they no longer care about you.

They came and installed a new alarm system in our house. While it was done in an extremely timely manner I was not impressed with the cleanup. I was told it would be like no one was at the house but there were piles of garbage where they worked.

I have been using protecton security systems for 4-6 years; And have not had a problem ever since. Our payments are charged monthly for a solid rate, and follow-up is always great! At times the children would happen to open the garage door by accident, leaving the armed system to chime; we would receive a prompt call to verify the security code, and verify everything is ok. At times, incidents have happened when our alarm chimed where our back door had triggered the alarm @ 3AM, and thats when Protectron insured our safety. We trust the system installed at our home, and trust the services they have to offer. We have been using their services for almost 5 years, and have no regrets. I definitely recommend them, especially if you don't have an alarm system installed at your home.. Go with Protectron Security Services ~~ You'll be happy you did.

They start off good but by the end you'll regret it and don't even think about moving! Their true colors shine through. They extended my contract without permission. Messed up the install in the new house and 7 months later they are still jerking me around.
