Noble Moving Services

What an appropriate name for their company! I’ll admit I was probably a very annoying customer with the thousand detailed questions I had, but everyone I spoke to was so polite and helpful. I booked my move to Toronto last minute as it wasn’t exactly a planned move, but they were so understanding and accommodating with all my special requests. The last move I did with another company did not go this smoothly at all, I’m so thankful that I stumbled upon this company. Thank you Noble Moving Services!

Please beware this is the worse moving company ever

Please do NOT use this company this was the worse experience I've ever had I've pcs (permanent change of station) too many places in my life and used many moving companies. As a civilian my new husband and I decided to use someone new other than his company movers to save money big mistake. Initially everything was great until they received our money and our cargo then the nightmare started they wanted more money and it took over 2 months for a shipment from Tx to the UAE I had broken items, all the sofa cushions were missing, we had luggage missing, missing sofa legs and Mr. DANNY response was all your items were delivered. The company that delivered our items said they had never seen anything like this before, we have to purchase an new sectional leather sofa because of this negligence and the attitude of Mr. Danny was appalling did not try to compromise what so ever with us. We are seriously contemplating a law suit. We are newlyweds after the costly move we do not have money to replace items we paid to move.
Please be careful and do NOT use this company

moving

Move from Hamilton ontario to St-Lazare Quebec. On march 29 , a crew of 3 men came in time with a 25 feet truck to pick up our stuff. Everything was covered properly and handle with great care. It took them 3 hours to load. I received my load the next day at 7am as agreed with 2 men to unload. Again , very professionnal and efficent. Of all our thing, only one item , my BBQ handle was broken. Other than that, it was excellent, no surprise with price, I had estimate 6500 pounds and it came to 6900 pounds.
Steve, the sale representative, follow up on the different stages of the move and when everything was done, he called on a holiday to ask if we were satisfied with our move. I recommend this mover and deal with Steve at ext 223. Make sure you are specific on what you are expecting and be clear on details.

Horrible, nightmare, worst experience of my life!

STAY AWAY from this company. We moved from Calgary Alberta to Northern Ontario in August and this company was a nightmare. We called noble to book because they were inexpensive. I should have known from reading the reviews first but i gave them the benefit of the doubt. They came 3 days late at 6pm to pick up our stuff in calgary, they kept saying they would be there and kept not showing. the company that came to pick our stuff up was not noble they sent another company, who also has terrible reviews. They told us our stuff would arrive at our new home August 5th (they picked up July 23) so I flew to Ontario after contacting them and them confirming the delivery date August 4th. I flew alone with my 17 month old daughter and my husband had to stay in Alberta for a few more weeks to finalize everything on our move. I arrived in Ontario at our new home and nothing. I waited all day on our "delivery date" and nothing. The next day I called them and they said they missed the truck coming this way and there wouldn't be another one until the end of the month. I waited 5 weeks in an EMPTY house with a 17 month old. Crying everyday calling them everyday they yelled at me, hung up on me, told me there is nothing they can do. I got no discount, nothing all my stuff was said to be in toronto in a storage facility which I contemplated renting a truck and getting myself but there was no way with no car seat and no one to help. i cant believe how rude and inconsiderate these people are. they wouldnt return my calls, emails, would hang up on me, ignored me. we are planning on moving back in 3 years time and i will pay big money this time to avoid this. the guys that dropped off my stuff when it finally came were rude, throwing my stuff around, i had damage which at this point i didnt care i just wanted my stuff and i wanted them out of my life. Please do not deal with these people. the way they ACT nice at first is so fake!!! dont trust them

Moved from Winnipeg to Edmonton

I had the worst experience with this company, everything what they told ware not truth. It started with the price, after estimation the price was 980$, then day before delivery they told it will be 2990$, after i send them the email with estimation and ask them to scale again, the price been changed to 1975$.
The delivery was scheduled for June 11,12, they called me on June5, 12. The driver inform me that they will be in Edmonton within an hour.I haven't been ready for this, my rent started at June10. When I asked the driver, will he be back by June11 he said no, just next month, and that was truth, I received my delivery just at July17,13. However it's not all story, I sent to Edmonton new furniture, I bought everything 5 month before it was sent to Edmonton, when i received it, I was in shock everything was damaged, every box, every piece of furniture and 1 the most expensive box was missing, so i called to claim department, they told me, no problem we have insurance buttttt it works by the wight, so for food possessor witch cost 350$ and been lost i will receive just couple dollars since it's not heavy. So in the end they FOUND my lost box and pay me 150$, witch supposed to cover all damage, missing and a month living with no furniture, sleeping on the floor, and so on.
People do not deal with this company, read contract carefully and never believe them everything must be written.

moving from Alberta to NB

This has been one of the worst experiences of my life. This company was the absolute worst. Nothing they guaranteed was guaranteed. Steve was great in the beginning, called me right away with a quote, gave me exact dates of pickup, everything I could have asked for. And then everything went to hell in a hand basket after that. As soon as I said I would use Noble Moving Services, and gave them my deposit, I didn't matter anymore. They were supposed to pick up my belongings from a storage unit between Oct 17-19, I had booked my flight home for AFTER those dates to be sure to be there for pick up. I called on the 19th to see what was going on and a very rude woman told me that they wouldn't be picking it up that day, but it shouldn't be a big deal for me since my things were already in a storage unit. I had taken 2 days off of work to put my things together in this unit, make sure everything was good to go, and I wanted to be there for the pick up, but they didn't show up until November 2nd, so I ended up paying an extra $225 for an extra month in storage. Since I wasn't there for pickup, the storage unit manager was, and said the men that moved my things were very efficient and professional, and I will take his word on that. However, Steve doesn't answer phone calls or voice mails. I have called this company over 25 times to try and figure out what they were doing with my stuff. The only time he was interested in talking was when it came down to me paying the bill. The movers show up in Fredericton, NB and I literally have to drive over an hour to meet the drivers since they had no idea where they were. Steve told me not to worry about being there for the drop off of my belongings. Thanks buddy, cause I had to meet up with them, as they were parked on the side of the road, and take them to the unit, which was literally 1 minute away from where they gave up. To make matters even worse, the driver of the truck backed into a separate building while backing up the trailer to get to my storage unit, damaging the roof, eavestrough, and siding. I received no inventory check list, as they didn't check off anything. I watched as they unloaded my stuff in the unit without any paperwork. I have absolutely no idea if all my stuff is in there. I have pictures of my items prior to pickup, but you guys were supposed to hand me an inventory checklist. You failed to do so. There was no weigh scale ticket copies for me either, as you had promised. I have tried to call to file a claim, but they must have my number on caller ID, since nobody likes to answer my calls anymore. By the way, there is NO WAY that my stuff weighs as much as they said it did, and with no copies of scale tickets, I am so severely disappointed with you guys. Moving is a very stressful thing in itself, and all a hardworking person asks for is for someone to treat them like more than just a number, because you are moving someone's life. You have made this the worst experience I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. If by chance anyone at Noble decides to read this and by some miracle want to compensate me for the troubles and sleepless nights and stressful days you have put me through, you can message me, or maybe ask Steve for my number, I'm sure he has it on a list of numbers not to answer when he sees them calling him. It really sucks that it has come down to this, leaving a message on a board, but if this can prevent someone else from going through what I have had to go through to stop bad customer service, and bad business from happening, then so be it. Just a suggestion...if you hate what you do for a living THAT badly, get out of the moving business. I want my money back.

Moving from Brampton, Ontario to Edmonton, Alberta

If you thinking of thinking of using noble moving services, your choice should be to use another moving company. I recently used noble moving service to move my stuff from Brampton, Ontario to Edmonton Alberta. First off, the shipment came 2 weeks after it was expected. During this time, my girlfriend and I had to sleep on the floor and buy cookware and plates so we could eat. When we finally got our stuff, we were excited to finally sleep on a mattress. We shipped two mattresses wrapped completely in thick plastic, both were water damaged from sitting in 30 cm pool of water for quite a period of time. Our bed frame and office desk were also water damaged. (the company did not repair or replace the mattresses, even though they stated to mold in the plastic wrap when they arrived) We payed extra for boxes and for the movers to 'professionally pack the boxes, in which multiple items in these boxes were damaged, because the movers just stuffed the items it. The only stuff they didn't break was the stuff I packed myself. In total, Noble Moving services caused $3000 worth of damages, and refused to refund or cover anywhere close to the cost of the damages. I am left with two molded mattresses, and have been denied a refund to even afford one new one.
I give this story because I trusted this company to do their job of safely moving my items and they didnt. I would have been better off to of thrown out my items beforehand and start out fresh because this company takes no care or responsibility.
Please shop around, this company should not even be used as a last resort. All around bad experience. Just dont use them

Move From Ontario to New Brunswick - STAY AWAY FROM NOBLE MOVING

BEWARE, DO NOT USE NOBLE MOVING. ALSO, THEY OPERATE UNDER CAPITAL MOVING AS WELL, STAY AWAY!!!!
I contacted Noble Moving to move my belongings from Brampton, ON to Woodstock, NB at the beginning of August 2012. I filled out the online request and Steve (my booking agent) quickly contacted me and the process of booking my move was under way. Until such time that I actually left the deposit, Steve was helpful, informative and timely with his responses. Then, it all fell apart. I told Steve (I have emails to prove it) that I needed the delivery to be on the 31st of August anytime after 1:00pm to which he replied “I just spoke with long distance operations and delivery on the 31st is perfect”. Well it wasn’t, my belongings were picked up on the 24th and I called Steve the following Tuesday to see what the total was going to be so I could have the payment ready for delivery of our belongings. It was at this time that I was told that my stuff was going to be delivered between the 7th and 10th of September. When I insisted that it had to be on the agreed 31st and I read his email back to him he told me to give him an hour and that he would figure it out and call me back. Two hours later I called him back only to get his voice mail. I called again and zeroed out and spoke with a guy named Matthew and he informed me that Steve should never have committed to a “firm” date and that it would not be possible for our belongings to arrive until the 7th to the 10th. Matthew gave me the name of a manager, Brock who I should speak with. I have not since been able to get in touch with Steve, he has ignored every email and voicemail I have left for him. So from that point on I have dealt with Brock. I rearranged my entire move (including leaving my three children in Ontario for a week and a half causing them to miss their first three days of school) based on the new delivery time. Brock did knock $365.90 off the total price for my inconvenience. At 3:30pm on September 8th, the truck driver called to tell me that he would be at my house between 5:30pm and 6:00pm for my delivery. At 7:00pm he finally showed up and began to unload my belongings. When the delivery was “complete” my husband and I noticed that several large items were missing (Big things like my fridge, 3 dressers, my daughters bed, all my bookshelves, a 60 gallon air compressor (to which I was charged extra to have moved as it was “specialty item”) all not there) Every box was mangled, torn and squashed. The next morning we discovered that the missing drawer from my bed was actually broken and thrown into the ditch at the end of my driveway. I called and left voicemail for Brock at 11:30pm Saturday night telling him what had happened. When I didn’t hear back from him I called and left voicemail again on Monday night. Still nothing. Tuesday morning I called Brock again and this time a very unpleasant woman answered the phone and told me that I needed to fill out an online claim form. When I asked if my missing belongings were in the warehouse in Ontario she laughed at me, told me she was a booking agent and that she doesn’t go into the warehouse. I filled out the online form and called and left another voicemail for Brock. In this message I explained that I paid in full and I want what is mine and that if I don’t hear from him by end of day I am phoning the police to look into charges of theft. Later that afternoon I received a standard form email from Brock stating that the claims process can take two to four weeks and if I have any questions to contact him by phone or email. Sure, like I haven’t tried that. As it stands right now, I am planning on moving forward with my threat to take legal action unless this situation is handled in the very short term.

Great service...! Very reputable company...!

I'd like to thank the whole staff of Noble Moving Services for moving me from Vancouver City to Toronto. We had a great overall experience. However, after reading the other comments I was questioning my choice. Although, I've received the totaly opposite treatment. Of course there were a few errors but at the end they knew how to resolve the issues that I had. Thank you again for the great service & experience.
