Outstanding Service--would highly recommend and will use again. Scheduling and an appointment was very quick and easy to do even after calling mid-week in the evening. Phone was answered and did not go to voicemail. Adel texted ahead of time to say he was on the way and arrived at the scheduled time. Crew was very professional, neat with their work and clean (wore covers on their shoes, laid down a floor matt as soon as they came in the door and ran the vacuum piping through the garage instead of through the house). The crew used power agitators deep into the ducting and sealed off all ducts to maximize return pressure as they cleaned each trunk line instead of simply vacuuming at the vents. Sanitization was with Benefect cleaners which are 100% biological with no chemicals. Crew cleaned up and price was less than expected/estimated.

Incredibly poor service--not a company I will ever use again or recommend to anyone. Called on a Friday to schedule a service call indicating that the dryer was working however was not heating and asked if technicians carried parts, specifically heating elements, in their trucks. After providing the model and serial number I was told absolutely the technician will have the parts with. Service was scheduled for the Monday as no technicians would pick up the call for the Friday--was surprised as website notes Same Day Service at the very top. Technician arrived on the Monday and after 15 minutes indicated the heating element needed to be replaced and the part would take 2-4 days to arrive. We questioned the fact that he had no parts especially given at the booking we made it clear the heating element was likely the problem and were assured parts would be carried. Response from the technician was, we don't carry parts you have to wait, that's always how it is and here is your bill for just under $125 for the diagnosis. The technician also left the dryer disassembled so it could not even be used for no heat tumbling/drying and broke a fastener on the control panel when he disassembled. On the Friday, 4 days later after receiving no updates, called and was told we needed to authorize the parts purchase after we get a quote and then the parts would be ordered. The person quickly looked up the part cost and stressed that the part had a 2 or so year warrantee and they could attempt to schedule installation on the Monday assuming the part was available. No indication of service warrantee was given which given the technician's and companies overall "service" sealed the deal and I told them I would go elsewhere to get the dryer fixed. Called another company I found on Homestars which came the next day after offering a same day appointment. The technician from the second company was very professional, had parts in hand and completed the repair in just over 30 minutes (10 star review posted earlier today). Next step which I expect will be impossible is to get a $124.30 refund from Home Appliance Repair for the 'service call diagnostic' after such horrible service.

Summary -- OUTSTANDING service. I would highly recommend Hightech and will be using them for all future appliance repairs. After having another repair company out that will also be reviewed significantly more negatively than Hightech, I called Hightech. I was offered an appointment the same day or the following day. The technician texted in advance saying he was on his way and arrived at exactly when he indicated. The heating element was broken which was diagnosed within 5 mins, the parts needed were in his truck and the full repair was completed in just over 30 mins including cleaning of the dryer. Price was also very competitive.

The main structural beam for the second floor deck was failing. I was very concerned about finding a company that would be interested in taking on the job especially given it was not a new deck build. Josh was very quick to reply and provided appropriate recommendations on what needed to be done. The job involved concrete work for a footing, steel fabrication and carpentry--not a typical deck job or simple. His estimate came within 24 hours, was reasonable and he had a crew onsite in a matter of days. The crew did a very good job. They were very careful when digging the post footing next to the house footings and kept the entire work area and driveway/sidewalk used for access clean the whole time. The work was done on schedule and the quality was even better than what I expected. I am always a bit sceptical about online reviews and who the authors may be. However, I would be happy to be a reference for Josh at any time and can verify my review is legit and clearly the rest of the great reviews for Josh and his crew are as well.

As was noted in a previous review Scott and Amanda provide an excellent level of service as I too have found over the last few years. However be sure to request both by name for any service call as the level of service provided by other members of the service staff is poorly lacking. In particular after paying for a full pool closing last fall I returned home to find the cover installed with clear signs of tension where it was detaching from the clip in strip due to being installed backwards and water lines left open/unplugged at the heater and return manifold. The service crew returned when called to re-install the cover. With full fall conditions leaves had already started to fall, which was of no concern to the crew as they simply pulled the cover, letting the collected debris fall into the pool, and clipped the cover into place. I was summarily told by the crew not to question how they did their job when I pointed out the damage that would be incurred to the liner and water quality by leaving debris in the pool over the winter. A follow-up visit to Jameson resulted in no response from the Service department management and when Paul Jameson happened by a further comment indicating that his crews were the best and were not to be questioned. Opening the pool this spring has predictably revealed that the water is heavily contaminated with algae and the liner stained. All previous years openings showed clear water with no staining given the closings had been done properly. The Retail staff continue to be very helpful in providing advice re how to clear the problem however I have be left with many hours spent to date cleaning and paying for chemical treatments. The Service staff have continued to point out that the situation is my problem given I did not use Jameson to open the pool this year and their belief that the service crews are all as good as Amanda and Scott. A request to have a service crew come out to help deal with the problem was simply ignored. If you choose to use Jameson for any service work be sure you are getting Amanda or Scott else you will be left to deal with the potential mess, time and expense you will need to personally clean up the problems.
