Zen Construction

Zen construction built a beautiful fence for my family in 2019. Josh and his team were great to deal with. I would recommend them and look forward to using them again in the near future.

Josh and company were very helpful with design decisions, they are very professional, reliable and very high quality of work - I would not hesitate to recommend this firm and to use them again for my next project-its nice to know you can count on them.

Zen Constructions did an amazing job installing retaining wall on our back yard hill -they did their magic by keeping the rest of the garden relatively undisturbed. With all the heavy equipment, there was great care taken to protect the grass, the concrete patio and clean up. Guys worked in scorching heat and in pouring rain to make sure that the job was finished in time. The quality of their work is exceptional, so is the customer service. Josh was easy to deal with, very responsive and accommodating with the schedule. This is our second job with Zen Construction, they are very versatile in the services they provide (originally we had our interlock driveway done). With Zen, you are getting a peace of mind of the project well done and the money well spent.

Josh and company completed a large composite deck. The deck was built into the side of a hill and had both concrete and helical piers as footings. Workmanship was top notch and the employees were all very respectful and courteous. I highly recommend.

After getting other quotes and meeting with other landscapers, I decided that Josh from Zen seemed to be the one who was actually hearing what I wanted to achieve. He made suggestions for saving money but still keeping the project looking the way I wanted it to look. Ruban and his crew were great. The project was done within the promised timeframe, they were courteous and efficient and were open to minor changes to improve the final look of the work. I have no problem recommending Zen based on my experience.

Zen Construction did an amazing job in building our back deck. They included all our requests, built the deck on time and at a reasonable price. Very high quality work. Josh was great to work with and the crew was efficient, friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

Josh estimated that it would maybe take 2-3 days to complete the install of our new deck but much to our surprise and delight it was all completed in a day and a half, amazing!

We are very happy with the finished product, the speed and quality of the workmanship. We will be reaching out to Zen again with regards to some other landscaping we are interested in doing.

I had an old flag stone walkway but now weeds were coming through and the smaller stones were coming loose. I fell in July and my neighbours recommended Zen Construction. Jose came the next day and told me they could lift the old flag stone walkway, clean them , replace smaller ones and put harden sand between them to keep the weeds down. In August they came on a very hot, humid day. The mosquitos were bad also, they worked hard all day with no complaints. I was amazed. It looked bigger but was the same area, by placing them closer and using more larger stones gives the illustration that is bigger. I love it and would recommend Zen Construction for any job , big or small. My front walkway needs replacing and I will call on them in the future.

Guys showed early & worked their butts off, old patio gone in no time. Courteous & polite, with some humor thrown in. Job done quickly & good clean up. Came back to fix a couple of issues, all done now. Good job, very happy, would recommend.
