I am extremely pleased with the supply and installation of a high efficiency furnace by Cozy World Inc. The project was seamless from the moment Mr. Boris Sherman attended at our home to conduct an inspection and discuss the project and its costs to the installation by his crew. Mr. Sherman assisted me in obtaining the required energy audit to obtain various rebates and his crew took care and caution in the installation and left the job site immaculate inside and out. All paperwork to obtain rebates was handled by the company. If I could describe this company in one word, that word would be "professional." Highly recommended!

After a particularly bad thunderstorm with driving winds and hail, we noticed water had entered our master bathroom. A quick inspection revealed that one of our shingles was on our neighbour's rooftop. Our existing roof is 12 years old so we thought that it might be time to do a roof replacement. We called Tom Geo from Mega City Roofing. Tom inspected the roof and advised that it remained in relatively good condition and recommended a repair only. We discussed the specification for a roof replacement and it was clear that Tom would do a thorough job including installation of snow and ice shield, a drip edge and proper backing on the roof deck. We will definitely invite Mega City Roofing to quote on our eventual roof replacement as Tom Geo is clearly an honest and knowledgeable contractor.

We have been using the services of Mersey Service Experts for many years and have always been more than happy with the maintenance of our heating and cooling appliances. The technicians are knowledgeable and do comprehensive annual maintenance and we would recommend them to our family and friends.

I had the driveway re-paved this year. I prepared a specification and tendered to three bidders. Ludwig Paving was selected and I am very pleased with the quality of the work. Because Toronto Hydro was doing upgrades in the neighbourhood, I was concerned that it might impact the work. While I investigated whether Toronto Hydro would be excavating our driveway, William and Lina stayed in touch and when it was ascertained that our driveway would be unaffected, Ludwig excavated the old driveway and applied a new gravel base. Four weeks later, the new asphalt was applied. The crew was very careful and the job was done professionally.

After much research and going through the bidding process, I selected Delco Windows and Doors to supply and install replacement windows. Jack Cohen came to my home and provided a quotation that same day. Jack invited me to attend at the manufacturing facility where the windows are made and provide me with a tour. The facility was a top notch site and I viewed the shop floor as well as their window display area. Jack provided me with good advice and we entered into a contract. The crew arrived on the appointed day at the appointed time and did a very good job. The crew cleaned up the job site before leaving and the windows are functioning as advertised and look beautiful. This was a seamless process and I am happy to recommend this company to anyone looking for window replacement.

North Shore Eaves Troughs did a great job installing new eaves and downspouts on my home. The crew was professional and took care and caution with patio furniture and flower pots which they carefully moved and put back in place. They left a clean job site and were polite and helpful. I was very happy with the work and would recommend them without hesitation to my family and friends.

I purchased an iron coffee table from the Ethan Allen store in Thornhill. White spots began to appear all over the table including the legs and the support pieces, New white spots show up regularly. Ethan Allen reluctantly sent a service person whose repair attempt consisted of wiping the table with a wet paper towel. He said that something appeared to be eating away at the table. Almost two weeks went by and I hadn't heard anything back from the Thornhill store. I followed up and was told that their head office refused to repair or replace the table. The table is only three years old. I thought that I was purchasing quality furniture from Ethan Allen but the only thing that says quality is their prices. Ethan Allen's customer service is non existent when you have a problem. Their furniture is not quality, heirloom furniture as the prices would suggest. It looks nice in the showroom, but does not last.
