This is the second time Roberto has refinished floors and stairs for us. He does a great job including filling wholes and patching areas. He really cares that you like the stain colour and mixes stains until he finds the colour you like. Roberto schedules well, keeps you informed and is reliable. He is the right choice if you are looking for a good refinisher.

Adel came promptly and diagnosed our 3 year old dishwasher. He advised us not to repair it and guided us on how to find a new one that would be reliable. His focus was to resolve our problem and not make money from a repair that he felt would be too expensive. He has our absolute confidence and we will call him again!

I called Evan once again to inspect an older home in Toronto. He arrived early, started his exterior inspection and pointed out interior work that needed to be addressed. His report was very helpful to potential purchasers of this home.

In preparing a house to sell I called 2 electricians. One oversold the job and gave a very high quote that upset my retired client. Next I called Mayer at Odin Electrical. He came quickly to give a quote which was significantly lower and included a panel change and all permits. All work was performed neatly with little inconvenience to my client and with an ESA certificate, the house sold quickly. I highly recommend Odin.

Call Kao. I have used Kao at Appliance Canada for over 12 years. I have bought cottage appliances, home appliances, another home and a rental propert. I have referred a dozen people to Kao and they are all happy. Never a problem and always good recommendation. If Appliance Canada is not good as the reviews say - Kao makes it great!

I have used Arby Cartage several times. This December we moved from our home into a smaller home that we own and had been rented with furnishings. Some of the furniture from each location needed to go into storage. I colour coded the furnishings to indicate if they were to go to the new location or to storage. At the new location some items had to be removed and taken to storage. The team from Arby Cartage took the time and interest to understand the coding and make sure all items ended up in the right location without requiring wasted time re-organizing the moving truck. As usual we were very happy with Arby Cartage. A family business that relies on a good reputation.

Lynxus gave one of three quotes for a three story house that we were renovating. Their quote was the middle price. Upon a walkthrough it seemed they knew their work. They claimed that they never need to do touch-ups but would if needed. They were pretty good at scheduling, worked almost to schedule and did a decent job. There were a few touch-ups and they were quick to return and take care of them. Good job!

Royal Crown was recommended to us by our Stucco contracter. Their sales process is excellent! They gave excellent advice about colour and placement of downspouts. They communicate regularly and we were kept up to date with schedules and changes. We changed our minds about the colours at least 4 times but no one lost their patience and they frequently got back in contact with the sales person to get his input and advice. The installers were friendly and professional. This house is rather tall and very close to the house next door. It clearly was a challenge to put aluminum on that side. Other companies were unsure if they would be able to do it. Royal Crown never showed concern about this and their installers just got to work and did a great job without complaint. There is a small change to be made to the slope on the garage and I am sure it will be done quickly and properly. I will use Royal Crown again and recommend them. Our house looks great! I was looking for a supplier of Gemthane Siding and Decking which is a relatively new but excellent product. Gemthane refered me to their distributor Torwin. Torwin delivers service that is very uncommon! They are accessible, responsive, service oriented and reliable. I would have no concerns bying any product from Torwin and I will buy windows from them in future. There is no way they would sell anything but quality. We needed to Stucco over existing brick from the original house and over the plywood addittion so that the whole house looked fresh and new. We received several quotes after contacting so many stucco contractors who never called back. Elton from Elstructure Inc was quick to respond. He had lots of questions, suggestions and advice about our exterior finishing. He recommended other trades who he works beside. Hi price was average and his communication and service are great. Elton and his crew did a great job and our house looks fantastic. I will definitely recomment Elstructure.

At certain times of the year it is hard to find a good roofer. I contacted several and most didn't return my call. Jerome at Erin Millls returned my call, showed up when planned, quoted the job and was honest in his scheduling time. He arrived the week scheduled and completed a large and difficult roof replacemt quickly and professionaly. We have already refered him to other jobs and everyone has been very pleased to have Jerome working on there home. Not the cheapest or the most expensive but 1st rate!

After contacting othe window companies and being disatisfied with their appointment follow-up I looked up Ambia on Homestars and called Tony. I am very impressed with Ambia. The service, communication, installation and window quality is better than expected. I will use them again.
