One two free??? What they don’t tell you is that the free comes broken or previously used

I bought in total 9 appliances two years ago at Appliance Canada. Out of which seven were high end Thermador appliances. I was entitled to two free appliances one of them being a hood fan to go on top of eight burners cooktop. It came late and broken in an open box. The store agreed to exchange I had to wait a while (Covid was a great excuse for any store inefficiency then). The replacement came even more damaged. Since I could not wait for ever to use my kitchen (one cannot install gas cooktop without the fan) the store agreed to install the damaged one until such time they get a new non damaged one to replace the hood fan. Once they got a new one they reneged on their offer. They told me I have to uninstall the broken one, have the store pick it up then deliver the new one for me to install. When I complained I was told I cant complain, since it came for free. Thermador was not better. The store tells me it is Thermador responsibility and Thetmador tells me it is the tire responsibility and both say @anyway it came for free. This is the poorest customer service. The appliance installation was a disaster and I can only profusely thank the kitchen company whose team did a superb job fixing whatever they could in the unprofessional installation. They were several hiccups with the appliances and the customer service was poor are best I would never ever use that store again. I would never buy Thermador again. I have had Thermador for years and years, but since the appliances are not made in North America or Germany anymore, one can definitely feel the poor quality is definitely

LG Range

Not a great sale price but doable. Saleswoman was fair and clear.
The followup about the Delivery date was not great (5-6 months), never heard from saleswoman.
Frank saved the day. Went after someone because after contacting him, he found one that could be delivered mid February 2024 rather than the end of March 2024.
I certainly would purchase again from APPLIANCE CANADA.

Hold your Money Hostage and Cannot Fulfil

I ordered a washer and dryer pair from your Vega Store on November 8th 2022. When I ordered the washer and dryer pair (LG 4100 and DLX4200B), I told Zul (sales rep) I need them for Feb 24, 2023 for my new build. Sales Rep assured me that shouldnt be an issue. We agreed on a price and the order was placed and paid in full on the spot.

Come the second week or February and I confirm with sales rep the order. The dryer (DLX4200B) was not in stock but the washer was in, and he advised me to take it. So I took delivery of the washer. Now, the dryer was pushed back to mid March and sales rep told me to wait. After many phone calls back and forth with sales rep , I come to find out the new expected date for the dryer is now End of April, with no guarantees its going to come. I was in talks with sales rep about options, because itll be almost six months since the order was placed and no guarantees Id get a dryer and I have to go to my parents house to do laundry every week.

Getting a hold of sales rep has been a challenge. My repeated phone calls and emails most times go unanswered and Ive had to resort to leave work multiple times and show up to the store to talk him. It felt like he was avoiding me which was very unprofessional.

Since I took delivery of the washer, on their advice, the sales rep and manager's only solution was for me to accept an open box dryer or cancel my order and pick up the washer that Ive had for a month now and now I have to pay for uninstall and pay for new hoses for a new washer +re-install. I do not accept taking an open box dryer especially when I paid for a new one 5 months ago. Due to this inconvenience of having to cancel my order, I have missed on various opportunities of purchasing this washer/dryer combo elsewhere for a similar price. I am forced to pay an extra $500 for this pair at full price at a competitor who has them in stock.

I am extremely disappointed in how this was handled from the start. I was blindsided numerous times and inconvenienced for the install and my current laundry situation. I refuse to pay for Appliance Canadas lack of foresight.

So I'd watch out with these, guys, they'll hold your money hostage as the price goes out and you're priced out of the market - because they can't fulfill their promises. How come they can't get it, but everyone else can at a much higher price?

Worst company

It was our misfortune we got stuck with this store and in particular Victor and Marina. They were assigned delivery of our appliances and since then it was a challenge to get the work done. Victor is never available nor in store or emails or calls and we had to work with Marina. The first challenge was to get the appliances delivery which was a pain. First they changed the delivery date twice without informing us. They said we'll get a delivery message details with the time slot the day prior to delivery but nothing. I called the team the next day and told oh your delivery was rescheduled!!!!!!! and when it did get delivered the washer and dryer were missing. We had to again go through the hassle of dealing with appliance Canada team to set the delivery. They have no support for appliances installation and when we got the washer dryer installed it wasn't working properly. Brand new washer is not wokring and all they can say is it's a whirlpool issue and someone from thier team would help you. Never again going to appliance Canada. Save yourself trouble and skip this store.

Terrible customer service

Are these deceitful, disingenuous business practices or do all appliance stores do this?

I'm trying to resolve 3 issues with the customer service manager of a major appliance dealer, but to no avail, even though they confirm the sequence of events.

After purchasing several appliances from them, a fridge, microwave and stove from Appliance Canada still are an issue. I have now been waiting over 8 months to receive the stove and microwave. The delivery of my fridge was completed within a reasonable time period, but the company contracted by Appliance Canada to deliver the fridge, dropped my old fridge on my hardwood floor and damaged the floor. I reported the incident immediately to the appliance company, and we had a few communications and they assured me that the insurance would be able to have situation rectified. Since that time, Appliance Canada has backed off their promise, and they informed me that they have ceased doing business with that cartage firm, and it was my misfortune and there was nothing that they were prepared to do about it.
So much for customer service or protection of your valuables. I was waiting for the microwave and stove for over 8 months. In late September I received a call that all remaining appliances were available for delivery. I said "great" and we agreed upon a firm time for the beginning of October for delivery. Subsequently I found out that it was the practice of this store to give appliance to the next customer on the list if they would take possession sooner, even though I had a firm confirmed date for delivery. As of 3 weeks ago my microwave was delivered and thankfully my original contractor was gracious enough to install the microwave as part of his contract even though he had to disrupt his current project. FYI I had called before this to see if Appliance Canada would be able to install the microwave. I asked for a call back and did get a call back 3 weeks later instead of within 48 hours. When I voiced my concern and disappointment to the customer service manager at Appliance Canada, not only was he reluctant to accountability or responsibility, he was always retreating and referring to " I have to discuss with my manager" but now 9 months after my contractor has finished, I am going to have to pay him to return again to install my gas stove if and when it ever comes. When I went to Appliance Canada, I was under the impression I was dealing with a professional company who had a reputation for avoiding potential problems, not being the problem. Sadly this is my ongoing experience with Appliance Canada.

Dishwasher - did not honor promised discount

Terrible Customer Service
This company does not care about your satisfaction or treat you as a valued customer.
My dishwasher was delivered damaged with a crack and dent to the back corner. Because I was told it was only cosmetic and that there were no other ones of that model in stock and a several month wait for another one, I decided to take it. I called the store right away and sent pictures and was told I would receive a discount once it was installed and I was sure it was working properly.
When my contractor went to install the dishwasher, he noticed a crack in a part at the end of the water hose. I sent a picture of this customer service and was told that this was only protective housing and was to be removed. I expressed my doubts as in the installation instructions, it shows the hose installed with this so called housing intact. I also said it didn't look removable and was told to just take a screwdriver and pry it off.
Because I felt uncertain that this was the truth, I called Bosch. They said they would send a repair person to verify. The repair person was shocked and said this cracked part was essential and he ordered a new hose. Thus, I was spared from damaging my machine further if I had followed the instructions I had been given.
I called customer service back to inform them about what happened and ask again for my discount. I was told that now I was with Bosch, they would not deal with me.
My impression of this company is that you can't trust them to make you a satisfied customer. They don't honor promised discounts for damaged goods and will give you wrong information about your appliance.

Poor service

The sales people were great, however, after you order and pay for the products, the service goes down the tubes. You cannot get through to the company. There is a receptionist, who never answers the phone. You try to get through to other extensions and no one picks up the phone.
There is no end to end service and no one cares who works there.

I even left a message with a manager Shane, who never bothered to call me back.

Terrible service. Go to CAS instead.
