ICON does a great job on small pests as well as larger irritants. Steve and his assistant called before they arrived to confirm time. I had silverfish in one room of my unit. The remedy they applied worked very well. The delivery was efficient and they notified me when they were finished. More than that, Steve’s cheerfulness and willingness to help was a very positive influence in these dreary days of covid. Thank you Steve

Sobie’s was able to reschedule service calls to check on my inoperative refrigerator. They even arrived early. The problem was diagnosed quickly and the repairs completed. They left written instructions on how to get the temperature back on a timely basis. GREAT SERVICE!!!

Amanda coordinated the move and, on short notice over a weekend, was able to adjust for changes I requested. GREAT customer support 2 Gentlemen arrived at the time requested to initiate the move. They were friendly and efficient. Several pieces were antiques and the movers were very careful to pay special attention with them. Pickup and drop off was very smooth!! I am totally satisfied with the service!!!

Two young men from Rent a Son arrived at my door and in a timely and very pleasant manner co mpleted all the moving I required. They were very careful with wrapping the furniture and ensuring that no damage was done to the walls. It was a pleasure to have these very polite and helpful gentlemen in my home I have used Rent A Son in the past and the level of satisfaction is always very high

Roy checked my roof and took the time to take pictures of the shingles. I had already had 2 excellent references for this company. Roy explained options and made agreed to do the work at the first weather opportunity. His team of 7 arrived when he said they would and finished the work promptly. They spread tarps under the 2 skylights that were being replaced and did an excellent cleanujp. My yard was left very clean with no debris. They took away all the garbage. FANTASTIC SERVICE!!

Although I am computer literate, I have used this company for over 9 years. They have solved EVERY computer problem I have had!! I have sent more than 15 friends to Phicomp and every one of them has come back with rave reviews. Kent and Danny can transfer our info from your old computer to your new one - they can create your backup disks - for setup, they are much more cost effective than the company who sold you the new computer. They do awesome work!!!

I broke the glass on a large picture - 30 inches by 37.5 inches. I dropped in to Mt Pleasant Glass on Industrial Street with a sample (for thickness) and the measurements. They promised availability e the following day. When I went to pick up the glass - the lady in the store told me that I would probably break the glass before I got it home. She offered to frame the picture if I brought in the frame. I immediately returned the fame and picture to the store. Where can you ever get service like that!!

I arrived at the Carpet Mill - colour swatches in hand - and was immediately overwhelmed by the variety of carpet available. I nneded approximately 25 yards of carpet to do the stairs and a hallway. Aziz saw the desperate look a on my face and came to the rescue. Given the size I required, he recommended that we look at remnant pieces and he showed me a wool carpet that was a perfect match to my colours. We discussed synthetic materials - briefly - and I went back to the wool. At approximately $25 per square yard, it was fantastic deal - especially after I had been quoted $68 a sqaure yard for synthetic at another carpet store. The measure person arrived on time and we finalized that the carpet on the stairs would be bound The installers arrived on time and did a great job of installing the carpet on the floating stairs - not a fast job. Installers stayed late to complete the job. They were efficient and friendly. I will go to Carpet Mill first the next time I am buying carpet.THANK YOU!!!!!

Cheryl Fisher and her team of 4 arrived at my home and completed interior and exterior painting in a very timely and effective manner. Cheryl's sense of color and her very diplomatic approach resulted in a final product that far exceeded my original expectations. When the team left my home, I had color combinations that make the place very unique. Each day, when the team left, the house was as tidy as it could be - given the paint supplies that needed to be left. Each member of Cheryl's team brought unique talents. The final product is very professional. The painting was completed when promised and I love the outcome!

My bathroom sink was chipped and needed to be replaced. I purchased the replacement sink and called Drainworks because their reviews in Home Stars were so good. I received a quote and agreed to the installation of the new sink plus the reinstall of the existing faucet. Part way through the install, I was told that the faucet was rusted and could not be reinstalled. I had not planned for this and was therefore unaware of faucet prices. Since the work was underway, I felt that I had no choice but to agree to purchase a replacement faucet from Drainworks. The service phone call was well handled and Drainworks called to verify that I was ready for the plumber to arrive. The plumber was very pleasant. There was one small issue with the install and, the next day, the plumber agreed to return in the future to fix it. Several days later, I was in a RONA store. They carried what I feel is the same faucet - looks exactly the same and the manufacturer is the same. The big difference was that Drainworks charged me 545% of the price at RONA! I wrote to Drainworks to complain. My letter was responded to within 30 minutes of the email delivery. Through several heated miscommunications - there was NO innocent party in these exchanges - we came to a mutually agreeable settlement. Drainworks returned at a time convenient to me to repair the initial problem and to deliver my check.

David contracted to install ceramic tile for me. He arrived the day before he was to start to accompany me for the purchase of the materials - to ensure that I understood the actual costs. He arrived on time - worked continously, and finsished when he said that he would. He identified a problem with my garage door and arrived the next day with the required material to fix the problem - what a fantastic contractor!!!! He fixed a dry wall problem on one of the walls in the bathroom - not on the list when he gave me the quote. His price was great. His focus on customer satisfaction was exceptional. A great gentleman! I would give him the highest possible recommendation.

John Baillie and Matt removed the stone stairs, added balancing sand, tamped it and replaced and reglued the steps. The final product was excellent - stable and balanced steps. They also tuckpointed the bricks in the garage and the final product was also excellent. Their cleanup was excellent! Their recommendations from other customers were very positive.

Backup in main drain prompted a call to Mr Rooter. Response was very fast and problem was diagnosed appropriately. Service team - Igor and his partner - arrived ON TIME the next morning. They had to dig up the drain area and replace the old trap. When Franco arrived to use the camera to check the drain line further along, roots were apparent there as well. I was shown the problem and given alternatives. Igor and his partner worked overtime to complete the work. They left the place spotless!! I have not used Mr Rooter before but their performance was exceptional and I will continue to use them for any plumbing issues.Thank you guys!
