Contacted RCC in mid-August to have a sump pump incl. battery backup pump & whole home dehumidifier installed. An estimator came to my house within days and provided detailed quotes as well as an estimate of 2 weeks” for the install. It a bit longer than expected to get the parts in however it was worth the wait. The sump pump was installed cleanly and cables were nicely managed and tucked away. The dehumidifier is a beautiful machine and the installers took the time to ensure it was both level and configured to maximize the removal of moisture from my basement. Overall I’m very satisfied with RCC and glad I chose them again!

I reached out to S&S Cleaning last minute as my cleaner wasn’t able to accommodate a last minute change. I was pleasantly surprised with the change! The team of cleaners paid attention to the smallest details and thoroughly cleaned my home. Thank you so much for accommodating me!

Updating my original review... I recently ordered a row of 3 Valencia seats and couldn’t be more disappointed... 3 days after receiving the chairs one of my cats scratched one of the chairs... My cat is declawed so I found this to be a little odd... I have had a number of pieces of leather furniture over the years and have never had a scratch.... It took just 3 days with Valencia seating. Their website claims the leather is durable however it’s anything but. I’m also very disappointed because in further investigating I noticed a number of other imperfections in the leather, wear marks and dirt/dust under the cup holder and in the storage compartments. Eastporters assured me this unit was NEW when I ordered however I’m now convinced this was an open box product. I reached out to Valencia to see if I could purchase a replacement cushion or leather for the damaged seat and was advised an entire seat would need to be purchased and they’re unable to ship parts. Finally I reached back out to Eastporters to order a replacement chair and was advised the chair price mysteriously went up in price by 70%. I would not recommend Valencia Theatre Seating and I no longer trust Eastporters. There are other options in the GTA and I would highly recommend you shop around. Eastporters may provide the best price however you may end up getting used or open box products and terrible after sales service.

I planned to have a pool built this year by Pioneer Pools. Darren worked closely with us to put together a really nice design with amazing features. Darren uses really high quality products and is a professional of the highest standard. Unfortunately Pioneer was unable to deliver the pool due to supply and other issues however Darren was a extremely professional to deal with through the process. Darren - thank you for being so honest and professional. My family appreciates it.

I decided to return to Platinum Pro Painters to refinish en-suite cabinets in my house after I had them paint my entire house a few years ago. The team was extremely professional, courteous and hard working. The end product has exceeded our expectations and we couldn’t be happier. Contacted Pioneer in May to build an In-ground pool. My wife and I spent the past 3 months picking options and supplies for our 100k+ dream pool. We just received notice from Pioneer they are unable to deliver the pool due to supply issues with the liner we chose - A WEEK BEFORE THE CONSTRUCTION START DATE. They were also unwilling to find an alternative liner in the colour we wanted or come up with any alternative solution to resolve the issue. I would strongly encourage you to STAY AWAY from Pioneer and work with a more reputable vendor. Both Jeremy Snowball and Cameron Brown were completely useless in the process and again would recommend paying a little more and going with a more reputable builder.

Had the Professional Post Hole Guy out to fix my fence that had started to lean quite significantly. Ralph, the owner, came out to look at the fence and begin an estimate. I was emailed a very clear estimate within a few hours from Virginia and accepted and booked the work. The team arrived right on time and and worked very quickly and efficiently. They did an incredible job fixing my fence and did the little things like trimmed the posts, reattached post caps, etc. The workers cleaned up the area and the fence now looks like new again. Couldn’t be happier with how this turned out.

I had the team at Ciscon Landscaping complete a project at my home this summer including planting trees (9 in total), shrubs, digging out gardens, adding mulch, river rock and armour stone. The team brought my vision to life and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The products they use are very high quality and the team is nothing less than extraordinary. Ciscon’s pricing was competitive and their work was completed on time and on budget. I would highly recommend Ciscon to anyone looking for a great landscape contractor.

Had Marcel and team at Contracting By Us finish my basement in Milton. I am absolutely thrilled with how it turned out. Quality of materials and construction was second to none. I've have hosted friends and family over a number of times and people can't get over how beautiful the space turned out. Marcel was very helpful and provided excellent advice when planning. His estimates and timelines were bang on. I had a number of specific custom elements added like a home theatre with in-wall (mounted behind screen) speakers, projector, custom home gym and a play area/house for my son. Everything turned out perfectly. I can honestly say it my favourite part of my house! Finally everyone on Marcel's team was so professional and courteous. From construction to electrical to paint - they were ALL exceptional.

I recently finished my basement and struggled to find the right window coverings. I really wanted shutters (the rest of my house has shutters) however I assumed the price would simply be too high. I contacted a number of vendors to get quotes for shutters just to see how how much they'd be. Vikki from Milton Blinds was very accommodating and provided a quote that was extremely competitive. She offered to come to my home to measure the windows as well as show me product samples. I picked the product I liked and Vikki advised install would be in 3 weeks or less. Shutters were installed today (2 weeks after measurement) and I love them!!! The installers were very nice and cleaned the area up after they finished. EXTREMELY SATISFIED!!!

I ordered cabinets from Ikea for my Laundry Room and a Walk-up bar that I'm doing in my basement. Dmitriy responded almost immediately to my request to install the cabinets. When he and Oleg arrived they got to work and installed everything perfectly at a very reasonable price! I am very happy with this install and I would strongly recommend them!

I just bought a house in Milton and the previous owner left us a lovely housewarming gift; wild birds in the house!!! There were birds in the soffits on both the main and second floor. I went to Homestars to start my search. I emailed about 6 different vendors and Pesticon was not only the first to respond; they came to the house same day; on a Sunday!!! The guys from Pesticon were great. They were able to extricate all of the birds from the house and patch the areas of entry. Best of all they provided me with a warranty should anything go wrong as well as a recommendation for a long term solution. Thank you very much Pesticon!!!
