We checked out a number of local companies to supply a single piece of quartz for our basement bar. We knew the red color that we wanted and knew it was going to be expensive. We were pleasantly surprised by the competitiveness of Worldstone's quote. We were even more impressed by their willingness to work with a walk-in with a relatively small/simple order. The staff was great to deal with from order to pick up. The only small issues were a small delay in our order and that they needed payment in advance and would not take credit card. Overall - great experience and the counter looks awesome and fit perfectly!

We used CSG to make 2 custom glass doors for a stereo cabinet. The price was very competitive and they simply took the measurements over the phone and they were completed the next day. No payment was taken until completion. The sales and office staff were great to deal with and even when I realized I had made a mistake on the original dimensions, they recut and finished one side of each door at no charge. The only issue we had was with their hours and the early close as it made it difficult to get to in time after work.

We chose JTL for the security system for our new house. Dolby was great and spent the time with us to make sure we had the best system for our budget. His install team was very professional, punctual, and knowledgeable. The equipment that JTL supplies is much higher quality than most out there and they took the time to customize the system to fit our home. Although we may have paid a bit more we got great value for the extra (3 cameras, light controls, doorbell camera, extra door sensors, and more) and in the end we own the equipment. We love the system and would refer JTL to all homeowners that don't want to deal with the high pressure from the big companies.

I called Blake in a bind. My furnace and humidifier were not working and the company that installed the units was not returning my calls. Blake was able to show up and fix everything the same day. He was very knowledgeable, professional, tidy and on time and took the time to go over everything with me including my warrantee options. Excel is definitely now my go to HVAC company.

Dealing with Thomas was a treat. He delivered a top-notch product well ahead of scheduled. He started when promised, worked full days continuously until completed and stood behind his quoted price and work. We would recommend him to anyone.

After a terrible experience with another landscaper, Terra Nova Landscaping saved the day by completing our job late in the 2013 season. Chad and his staff worked hard and long hours to get our large job done within the 2 to 2.5 week completion promise. The crew was courteous, professional, experienced, and cleaned up after themselves every day. There were no surprises on price, and the promised amount was only requested after the job was completed and to our satisfaction. We recommend you contact Chad at Terra Nova if you want a beautiful landscape job done without any problems.

We contracted this incompetent company to complete the final grade, fencing, and all other landscaping on our new home. The owner is unprofessional, workers are inexperienced, and they have no care for workmanship, quality or your property. The company demanded 25% up front with quarterly instalments without being a registered prepaid contractor in Alberta. They started the first week of June, and after missing their promised July 14 completion date (with inexperienced workers putting in 2 hour days- if they even showed up without direction from the owner) by mid-august they were nowhere near completing. We had paid 50% of the contract and didn't even have final grade approval, no hard scape work was done, planted trees were damaged and dying and now they were asking for another 25% and thousands in unapproved extras. After we questioned the owner, Dillon Reinich, about timing, quality, and extras we were given an ultimatum to pay or work would stop and materials would be pulled. We had to cancel contract and were forced to take legal action. Their other jobs on our street, started in June, are still not completed as of October 10 and our street is a mess.

After we moved into our new home we had many problems with the appliance we purchased. We have Aptco in for a number of our appliances (Dishwasher, fridge, Stove, Microwave) and every time the technician has been on time, knowledgeable, helpful, tidy and professional. This company's bookings and customer service reps are also very great.

We had heard horror stories about building a new house. Based on a referral, the quality of the show home, and promises of the Cameron Heights sales staff, we went with this company. From that point our experience went straight down hill and we lived our own horror story. We had issues at every stage of the build. The company promised only the top trades, but most trades were sub par and the work is very questionable. We moved in to an incomplete house in August and have had nothing but issues getting things done. Think twice about using this company. The show home quality is not what you will get.

Everything you look for in a contractor. Quick to estimate, reasonable price, short wait to start job, very professional and efficient crew, great job with great clean up, invoice was exactly as quoted. Actually, the job was done before I even met the crew that did the job. If my neighbor had not told me about the crew, I would not have even known they had started. Best experience with a trade ever!

My wife and I decided we were going to replace all of the windows in our 1950's engineered bungalow. We requested several estimates and during the sale phase, Durabuilt was the best. Although their price was on the high side, we chose them because of their Consumer Choice history and their better warantee. This is where any positive comments stop. Right from the booking phase straight through to midway through the completion the staff was uncaring, unprofessional, and always late (if they showed up at all), the job was botched (windows measured incorrectly but still put in or force in), and the job looked like my 1 year old did it. They damaged the windows and house before the windows were even in. They left substantial messes in and outside that my wife and I had to take care of nightly. They even left for lunch leaving my house unattended with doors wide open for an hour. To top it all off. Before the job was done, because it had taken so long a several redo's, the company demanded full payment before they would even complete it. Needless to say, after a long negotiation with a management/ownership staff that was out of touch with their work and did not seem to care for the quality of their final product, the job was never completed and I was forced to complete it myself. Please do not make the same mistake as my wife and I. If faced with a choice, choose All Weather Windows. And the poor service even continued after this review was posted. Soon after, the company posted a response stating that they wanted to make it right. After I forwarded my information the process ended and after several attempts to recontact them, no action was taken no response was received.
