Jeff W from Insight knocked on my door saying they were in the neighborhood and can offer discount. Seemed nice and knowledgeable so against my judgement (never sign up with door to door) I signed on his ipad where he told me 3 times it was a one time treatment and no contract. Couldn't send me contract right away (could not read it on ipad due to sun) due to technical difficulties but when I got it was crystal clear I had signed a contract for 1 year with repeated charges and had 3 days to get out of it (coincidentally he was coming in 3 days). I quickly messaged the company and got out of it, although they tried to charge cancellation fee which I pointed out they couldn't according to their own contract. Avoid completely, save yourself a world of trouble.

Had a glass shower panel that was not attached too well to the wall. Peter from Shower Door of Canada assessed virtually by phone and Cal fixed it, even suggesting some extra hardware so it won't happen again. Quick response to emails and requests, did a great job - could not be happier. Even replaced the glass shelf in the shower we had broke a few years ago. 100% recommended and will use again for all my shower issues.

Had Brandon and Dennis service my AC in the attic. Came on time, very thorough and a pleasure to deal with. Gave me helpful tips on maintenance and kept the place nice and clean. Can't complain about one thing.

Heard about this protective layer for added security from a colleague who highly recommended Gary, and I can see why. Very professional, prompt and excellent job. Impressed with the quality of the work and the advice I received for related issues. Couldn't be happier.

Just finished waiting for another 3 hour window to service my attic air conditioner and they didn't show again. I waited for them 3 days ago and they didn't show, and when I called they said I must have written it down wrong (Wed 8-10 AM instead of Sat 11-2 ... not bloody likely). I sent an email on Wednesday to complain and no response. Will definitely look to someone else to service my AC unit as these guys clearly don't care if they keep customers or not.

Had my gas turned off for other reasons and when they guy turned it back on he told me I needed my gas fireplaces serviced - I had no idea. Called Imran who cleaned things up perfectly and both fireplaces work better than ever - look brand new! Easy to deal with and great service. Highly recommend.

Been trying to fix the muggy heat on our top floor for 4 years without success. Finally decided on an attic AC unit. Laird & Son priced amongst the best and were easy to deal with and had a good reputation so went with them. Was not disappointed - guys came and put it in as promised on time and works great. Cleaned up after themselves and easy to deal with. Ryan and his colleagues worked hard and were friendly, courteous and made the job much easier to handle from my perspective. Would recommend for anyone looking for HVAC work.

Had dealt with High Tech before when they fixed my washing machine and had a great experience. Dryer started squeaking horribly on Friday, and called High Tech on Sunday and they came same day! Atiar came right on time, fixed the problem for the reasonable amount quoted before he started and even cleaned out my dryer vent with some (gentle) advice on maintenance. Excellent experience, and my only regret is that I didn't call sooner. Would recommend completely and will use for any future jobs.

Furnace on the fritz since we moved in. Atlascare diagnosed the problem when no one else could and got the manufacturer to replace it free except for installation. My wife said Nick and James were great, and certainly Al was an amazing diagnostician - thanks guys!
