We had our attic reinsulated and it seemed to maintain the temperature in the house overall except for one bedroom in the front of the house which has a large bay window. I looked into Aeroseal and saw some really great reviews but was still skeptical. I called around for a few quotes and Victor from Aeroseal Tech actually came over to give a very detailed onsite quote. His knowledge and explanation of possible issues made me feel confident that it would resolve the issue so I decided to book. His guys arrived on time during the scheduled date of install and quickly went to work. They were as detailed as Victor and pleasant too. The job setup, airflow/heat check, pressure test, Aeroseal process and balancing took a little over 4 hours and the results were fantastic! We got a report that showed we had almost a 40% CFM leakage throughout the HVAC that would seep into the wall cavities and were escaping from holes in the airducts that did not have a full seal. This is after I tried to seal any visible and accessible HVAC holes and seals with aluminum HVAC tape. My basement is finished so I could only seal what was in my furnace and storage room. I was losing about 275 refrigerator sized air units per hour! After Victor and his team applied the Aeroseal product, within half an hour the 40% leakage dropped to 0.5% CFM! They also rebalanced all the dampers and vents to ensure the whole house is the same temperature no matter where you are, basement or the warmest/coldest room in the house. It has been 48 hours since the job was done and I can confirm that the one cold room is now warm like the other rooms/floors. This is the best investment for heating/cooling ever. Victor and his team stand by their work and are always letting you know that you can call them for any questions/concerns. I cannot recommend them enough. Thanks Victor and team!

Mark was quick to reply and came over for a quote after assessing the work required to reinsulate our attic. We live in a fairly new home about 5 years old but already found the temperature differences during the seasons, cold on the second floor in winter and hot during the summer. Sure enough, he could tell that some of the insulation was blown away due to the soffits not having baffles and the insulation was lower than code. His guys came in on the date of appointment on time and were courteous and quick! They installed all the baffles to ensure no blowing insulation in the attic on windy days and topped it all up to R60. The house feels better than before. Mark came back to reinspect the house to make sure we were happy and we are. Great company to work with and I highly recommend them. Thanks Mark and team!!

Wow! Wow! Wow! From the beginning right to the end, Todd, Tammy and their team were fantastic! Our project included front porch covering, driveway border, walkway, front step and pillar. We first met with Todd for an appointment quote and were impressed by his genuine personality. He is a very knowledgeable professional and was true to his word. When the work commenced, his team worked their skillful magic. Keeping everything orderly and within the time estimated. Todd even came out to help them sometimes and was always available to explain the process or answer any questions we had. The high quality of materials used, the construction, plan and work done is simply outstanding. We get compliments from all our neighbours and we would without a doubt strongly recommend anyone looking for high quality workmanship to reach out to TWG. After weeks of discussions and debates with fencing companies and neighbors, my neighbors and I finally decided on Can Do Fence and I couldn't have been happier. From our initial measurement discussions with Alon, I could tell that he was a man of his word. Fencing is not an exact science and there are many factors that affect it, weather being the biggest one. Alon provided a written contract to all neighbors shortly after meeting with us. He was true to his word and delivered as per the contract despite the many rainy days we had this year! Alon's detailed and organized manner is what made the project go smoothly. He also maintained constant communication throughout the project. Can Do is an honest company that does the work first before asking for any form of payment. I would highly recommend as a single home owner looking for fencing to a new subdivision fencing project like mine. I would only recommend that you have all surveys ready for those involved before you meet with Alon as it will make everything a lot easier. Alon will provide accurate estimates based on those surveys and will never start the project until he has your signed contract in hand. You wouldn't go to a grocery store and ask for an estimate on apples before they are weighed, would you? :) From the post digging, fence building, capping of posts, gate attachment, clean up to final payment, EVERYTHING was top notch! Thank you Can Do Fence , Alon, Steve and Team. I am a customer for life. Keep up the great work!

I do ask for allot of clarity before we proceed with next steps with groups or individuals but we provide allot of up front information, specifications, pricing and even references so that our potential customers are well informed and can make an informed decision. We came home from work on a cold day in January and found that our furnace had stopped working. It was Friday and the chance of someone coming that night was slim. We called the installer who installed the furnace with the builder and left several messages. We slept near the fireplace and when I didn't receive a call back later that Saturday afternoon from the original builder installer, I called Button's as they installed our A/C and were great to deal with. A service agent came that Saturday and diagnosed the problem. He didn't have the part on hand (Control Board) but said he would put in the order first thing on Monday and said it should also be under warranty! Monday morning, Button's called to book the repair that day! Again, under warranty as Mario the service tech that who diagnosed the problem was brilliant enough to take the extra effort. Richard came that Monday and repaired the furnace under warranty that Button's didn't even install! All I paid for was the diagnosis and service call. Thank you Button's for the continued great service when others don't even bother to promptly return urgent phone calls! Another Recent Buttons experience was with Jeff S. This past July, our A/C seemed to be weak. Maybe it was the extreme heat waves lately but it just seemed to be not as cool as I remembered it. So I called Button's to come take a look. Jeff S. came to diagnose the possible issue. He confirmed that the TX valve was malfunctioning and needed to be replaced. All under warranty too. He also asked me a few questions on what filter I use, which vents I had open/closed, how I used the unit, etc. He then gave me valuable advice on what I was doing wrong and how to make it better. Free advice! Something rare these days. He didn't have the replacement part on hand and said it would be ordered. A week went by and Button's called back to schedule the repair. Jeff S. came back and did the repair and tested it all to make sure it was working properly. Thanks to Jeff S. for the great service and advice. I do feel the A/C unit working better after his suggestions. Thanks again Buttons for employing the right people!

We did our research and ended up choosing Door 2 Door partly because of an unbiased referral from a friend we trust but also because of Norton and his friendly personality. We accumulated a lot of household furniture and items over the years in our 3 bedroom home and needed to move it all with a company that we could trust. We have heard horror stories from friends and family so we were very cautious. Norton made us feel at ease and gave us the best quote for our massive move which required 2 trucks. Moving day came and we met the team who were great. Andy, the manager, is an awesome person who made the move seamless. The guys worked hard and continuous all day and night to get the job done. Sorry for the bedroom furniture that weighed a ton guys. :) Norton even came by to say “hi” and make sure we were doing ok. Over a month later, I am still unpacking. These guys are the real deal and I would highly recommend them if you want honest movers. Thanks Andy, Norton and team!!

We went to every big box stores on every appliance sale event imaginable to find brand new appliances for our new home. I just happened to be looking at flyers and saw one for Total Appliance who happened to have a location (Pickering) out in my hood. The moment my family walked in, we were greeted by Bob. He is as courteous and knowledgeable as they come. He took the time to answer every question we had and made excellent recommendations from his extensive knowledge. He even provided a demo on how the induction ranges worked. He stayed with us an hour after they had already closed. We didn’t buy that day because we wanted him to go home but we came back the very next day to make our entire purchase with Bob. We bought Fridgidaire – French Door Fridge, Induction Range, Dishwasher and standing freezer; Electolux - Washer and Dryer; Vent A Hood – Range hood. We are very happy with all our appliances and our service with Total Appliance Centre and our fantastic customer service with Bob!

We called around and did a lot of research from online reviews and found Star Custom Shutters to be the best. They did the initial measurements and gave the best quote for 20 windows, 2 sliding doors (1 with a transom) and a sunburst shutter. We love our all wood shutters and the quality and build is amazing. In comparison, my mother-in-law has plastic ones that she paid the same amount for 5 years ago from Sears Home! Now she wants wood ones from Star Custom. They called a week before the install to reconfirm the date and time. The installers were on time, friendly, clean and courteous. We could not have asked for more. We highly recommend them!

We just moved into a new home with no A/C and my wife was 9 months pregnant so air conditioning was mandatory to say the least. :) I called around and received quotes but Todd Button impressed me the most with his open honesty and knowledge of the industry. Todd went out of his way to get it installed a.s.a.p. for us. He was short an installer that day so rather than rebooking the appointment, he rolled up his sleeves and helped with the install! He did installs before he went into sales. That to me speaks volumes. He and his team did an awesome job with the install. He recommended a 3 Ton Daikin unit which is quietly humming by the side of our house now while my wife and baby sleep comfortably. We recommend Button’s for their fantastic customer service. Thank you Todd, we are forever grateful!

Barry was a pleasure to deal with, professional, courteous, on time and funny! Our wrought iron double door inserts are the envy of the neighborhood! They are beautiful, well made and worth every penny. I would highly recommend What a Pane!
