I had a small upgrade required on an existing kitchen island. Coudln't get the original builder to respond. Took my chances with HomeStars, which I love, and found Value Designs & Wood Crafts. Varinderjeet and his associate corresponded in a timely fashion, arrived at the agreed upon time, sorted out my issue and made sure I was satisfied. Courteous, resoucesful, diligent - I really appreciated these guys taking on what is really a smaller job, but for us, it was a really big deal and we're super grateful for Value Designs & Wood Crafts!

After getting in touch with a few vendors on HomeStars, we selected 'Tiles R Us' because of the solid reviews AND because their quote gave us a range of services available, and the range of rates. We felt that we really had a sense of what could be done and what we were going to have to pay once the vendor was onsite. Owen from 'Tiles r Us' did a great job turning what looked like an old glass and tile stand-in shower into something new! Years of abuse from the previous owners and us too had it looking really sad, i was even embarrased about letting anyone see it - no mater how much i scrubbed, i couldn't get it looking acceptable! After only 4 hours of Owen working on it, it was unrecognizable! Im thrilled we avoided a massive reno (which i though was my only option at this point!) by hiring 'Tiles R Us'. I have already passed their contact information onto others, I strongly encourage you to select 'Tiles R Us' to refresh the tiles, grout and caulking in an older shower, you won't recognize the place!

My tenants had a baseboard heater that was really acting up. I needed a reliable team to connect with my tenants, organize a time to visit, repair and then bill me directly. The Solutions Electrical & Maintenance group was up to the task! Professional, effective, courteous and reliable. Super glad to have a great Electrical group now to call on whenever needed!

Reached out to Royal Flush as we discovered water damage on the basement ceiling which was leading back to the toilet in the bathroom above. Once the toilet was removed, it was obvious it had been really poorly installed, flange wasn't even screwed down! (Pic of damaged flange included) Dave had zero room to work with (pic of tight space included), and insanely tight space to work around in the basement, and he really made it work. It took A LOT of problem solving and having to somewhat rebuild the basement ceiling joists *under* my upstairs toilet to ensure the toilet was truly safely secured. We are super grateful as to how quickly he managed to come over and take care of the issue. Many, many thanks Dave!

We've been working on renovating our entire home this last year, and had left the laundry room to last. The contractor we used for our kitchen and bathroom wasn't available so I turned to HomeStars to find a reliable company. I am BEYOND thrilled that we found and we able to work with Millard Bautista Design. Professional, thoughtful, diligent, focused, creative, very talented, solution-focused, and generous is just the beginning. I truly wish I'd come across them sooner! We were able to review our project in a 3D drawing, which was really great to really understand proportions, etc. I think was stands Mike and Venecia apart for me, is in the manner they handled a change request I had. Once the valence above the window was installed, I just wasn't comfortable on the height of it, and felt it needed to be longer to work with the lighting fixture we had selected. Within a few days, a new valence arrived and was installed before I knew it, just like that. I will be working with them again, no doubt about that, and, if you're reading this, you need to hire them too! All the best with your project! C

My husband and I have used Ra-V General Construction for several years on smaller projects (bathrooms, closets, extra bedroom, windows, fences, etc.). This year, it came down to sell our home to buy a home that suits our family needs, or, completely remodel all the untouched portions of the house and customize them to our needs. We did an extensive house search, and after 6 months, decided we were not going to find anything we could afford that truly suited our family. At that point, we started to plan, with Ravi Persaud, to transform our current home into our dream home. Months of planning and preparation followed. We started late this spring and we are now almost done. There's no doubt that renovating at home that's 70+ years old is going to have it's challenges, and we were no different. At every turn, Ravi had an idea, a suggestion, a solution. He had a different way of thinking of the problem, and turning a negative into a positive. We are nearing the completion of the project, and moving back home in the next 3 weeks. I couldn't be happier that we chose to remodel our home, rather than move. We have custom designed our home to our exact needs, and Ravi delivered on those plans in a BIG way. I can't imagine having embarked on this without a General Contractor, who has all the right contacts, who manages all the trades, who has the experience and know how to get results. I found Fine Finishes through an online search and read the extensive reviews on HomeStars as well. I was in DIRE need of help selecting colours for my eintire home and had left the decision to the last minute as I was really uncomfortable with this stage of the home renovation process. We are in the middle of a complete remodel and 'decision fatigue' had really set in. Andrea was amazing and truly saved the day. Professional, courteous, timely, attentive and truly an expert at her craft, it was a very real pleasure to work with Andrea.
