Joseph and his crew did an excellent job installing railings at the entrance to my house. The work was done promptly, safely and to a very high standard of workmanship. High-grade materials were used in the installation. Joseph answered my questions fully when I initially inquired about the project and he was diligent about keeping in touch throughout the rest of the process. I am very satisfied with the end result and would recommend Joseph and HMJ Railings to any others who want railings installed.

I contacted The Monitoring Center sales and technical departments in April 2022 to discuss an upgrade to my 27-year-old residential security system. The hard-wired sensors were to remain intact but the other components of the system needed to be replaced with newer hardware with additional features. The Monitoring Center personnel took the time to answer all my questions and to provide me with helpful suggestions. On 19-May-2022, a Monitoring Center technician arrived at my residence and completed the upgrade in three hours. His work was professional and of high quality. He gave me instruction in the use of the new system. He also delivered all hardware documentation to me, as requested. The new security system has been successfully in operation to date (22-Dec-2022) with no problems. I am very happy with it and with the monitoring service provided by The Monitoring Center.

In late August 2022, I scheduled an appointment with Buttons to discuss replacing the old furnace and air conditioner in my house. Todd came over and was very generous with his time in explaining the various options available to me and answering all my questions. He was meticulous in taking a thorough set of measurements in the basement to ensure a proper installation. On 06-Sep-2022, a 3-man HVAC team from Buttons arrived at the house and had the installation completed in 6.5 hours. I was impressed with their professionalism, quality of work, efficiency and the care taken to maintain the cleanliness of the house (work mats laid out on the floor, booties worn over the footwear, old equipment and packaging removed, work area vacuumed). As requested, the documentation for the new HVAC system was given to me. I also received instruction on the operation of the smart thermostat. During some warmer weather in September, the new air conditioner did a terrific job keeping the house cool with very tight control around the thermostat setpoint. During the colder weather in October, November and now into December, the furnace has been doing a superb job of keeping the household temperature very close to the thermostat setpoint. There have been no wide temperature swings as occurred when using the old furnace. Overall, I am very happy with the new system and with the proficiency of the Buttons team.

I hired Van Horne Plumbing to install two new toilets in my house. Nick and Tony arrived on time and proceeded to do the job. I found them to be very polite, professional and competent. They exercised due care in the two bathrooms, as other renovations had recently been done. As the work progressed, Nick and Tony took the time to explain what they were doing and answered all my questions. Nick also did some minor repairs on one of the bathroom sinks and provided useful suggestions for future renovations. They tidied up the work area after the job was completed. I will hire Van Horne Plumbing in future if I am in need of plumbing service.

My thirty-one year old bathtub was in rough shape. Over the years, the finish had become badly discolored. I contacted a number of tub reglazing companies and found The Tub Guys to be the most helpful and responsive. Angela and Will answered all my questions honestly, thoroughly and in a timely manner. I hired The Tub Guys to reglaze my tub and tiles (including an embedded soap dish). Will and Omar arrived on the appointed date and right on time. The job was done in about 4 hours, as promised. The glaze was allowed to cure for 48 hours, and then Will and Omar returned to remove protective sheeting, reinstall tub hardware and do final cleanup. The result is a beautiful finish on the tub, tiles and soap dish. I am a very satisfied customer.

John and Andre from DIMA Plumbing did a great job replacing an old toilet in my house with a new American Standard model. They also did some work on the water supply line, replaced the toilet shutoff valve and installed a new braided connector between the valve and toilet. The work was done professionally and efficiently. They cleaned up the work area after the job was done and took the old toilet to the curb.

One side of my wooden fence was in need of some long-overdue maintenance. One post appeared to be rotted out below the soil line and was noticeably leaning over, probably only held in place by the clips and nails where it was attached to adjacent fence sections. Four other posts were leaning, but not as bad as the broken post. In my younger years, I might have tackled this task myself, but not now at my age. Instead, my neighbor and I hired Patrick from Fence Renu. Patrick and his co-worker did a great job replacing the broken post, and righting and securing the other four leaning posts (these posts were still in good shape and did not require replacement). The work was quite thorough and professional, and done for a very reasonable cost. In addition, Patrick and his co-worker straightened and secured an uneven section of fence, as well as installing new caps on posts that required them. I am very satisfied with the work that was done.

I would like to express my appreciation for the excellent work done by Peter in replacing my hot water tank. He provided a good range of product options to choose from and answered all my questions with understandable explanations. His manner is both friendly and professional. He works to a very high standard and did the task in an efficient manner. Peter will be my first choice for any future plumbing jobs and I would be happy to recommend him to others looking for excellent plumbing service.

Andrew and his crew pruned a large birch tree on my property. All aspects of the job were very satifactory including punctuality, professionalism, safety, cleanup, cost, communication. Andrew assured that the work was done to my satifaction. He adheres to a high standard of excellence and is true to his word. I will definitely use Andrew's services for any future tree work requirements and would be happy to recommend him to others looking for an excellent arborist.
