We had a leak in the basement whenever there was rain. They came for a quote, and knew it was not going to be a major undertaking. They were honest, and when they came back to do the work, it turned out what they expected. No major work that needed to be done. Just injecting the polyurethane into the basement concrete in several areas.

We had all our windows replaced in our 3,500 square foot house, over 30 in total, and are so happy with the results! Dimitri was a phenomenal sales representative. There was no pressure and he was really friendly. Alex and the install team was very friendly and efficient; they were very diligent throughout the entire installation process including the cleanup. The windows themselves look amazing and are so much better than what we had, from both a functional and aesthetic perspective. We had a whole range of window sizes and shapes installed, including several frosted windows for the bathrooms, and every single one looks incredible. We wholeheartedly recommend Galaxy windows if they are looking at replacing their windows.

We had Moe and his team install almost 40 pot-lights in our house, in multiple rooms. I cannot speak highly enough of how amazing they are and the quality of the work they did. Moe’s customer service is second to none, and he will always make you feel like you are being taken care of. He was a pleasure to work with and made the process as seamless as possible. Even though one of our rooms did not have any existing wiring, and some of our rooms were directly under a bathroom with running water pipes, Moe and his team worked around those obstacles to give us the finished product we love so much. I would definitely recommend using them. They are phenomenal!!

In the middle of summer we had our AC break down. We called Atlas Care, and within an hour we had a technician come and assess the situation. He gave us options, but because it was a really old AC, we knew it was on its last legs. So we decided to get a new one. A friend recommended Jeff Maund of Atlas Care, and we are glad she did. Jeff came to our house much sooner than we would have thought, was very professional and approachable. He made the entire experience as painless as it could possibly be. He filled out all of the paper work to get our efficiency incentive, and held out and through the entire process. We highly recommend both Jeff and Atlas care!

We had Michael caulk our home, After dealing with another company who was quoting way over normal prices, giving us excuses why the costs would be so high, it was a pleasure dealing with Michael. He was knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and was in-touch with us every step of the way. The workers were also very friendly, and everything was handled in a timely manner, on schedule. They cleaned up well, where you could not tell they were even there. The price is very fair, since we have a 3500 sq ft home with lots of big windows. We definitely would recommend Gold Star Caulking and Michael for you caulking needs!

The fantastic online reviews I have read of the technician Nimo Mansouri are VERY WELL DESERVED. Nimo called me after I phoned the customer service line, and did his very best to fit us in as early as possible. We were quite appreciative, and if that was all that he would have done, we would have been happy. But he went beyond that! Our heater was making a loud sound, and as soon as he came down to the basement and saw the interior of the furnace, he diagnosed the problem and a solution was found. He didn’t have to fumble around, he knew exactly what this issue was and took steps to solve the problem, which put us at ease. I can’t say enough regarding how nice, friendly, and knowledgeable Nimo was. I don’t wish to have a problem again with the our heater or anything else, but if we do, I hope we get Nimo, since our experience with him has been nothing less than absolutely stellar!

I absolutely recommend Ashlar Landscapes to anyone who needs to work to be done to their property. I chose Ashlar because of all the positive reviews on Homestars, including how nice and diligent Daimon was, and the fact that they could do everything we wanted done. We wanted to have the following work performed: - New sod put down in the backyard and have the land even out (re-graded), - Interlocking brick to be laid down as a walkway along the side of the house, installed new steps to the side entrance of the house, plus laid down an interlocking brick BBQ area in the backyard - Decorative River rock to be put down along the edges - Several tree rings and planting areas to be created Most other companies would not do any type planting, and since we only wanted to deal with one company, the fact the Ashlar did everything really appealed to us. He was very knowledgeable about the best types of plants for certain areas, and was a great help in picking the plants we wanted. All of the positive reviews about Daimon and his crew are very well deserved. Everybody was extremely professional, very nice, and they were really receptive to any of our comments. Daimon laid out the costs clearly before any work was done, and he did not require a deposit before the work started. He made sure we were kept up to date with how the work was tracking, and answered all of our questions throughout the entire process. We have had many complements from our neighbours and several people have asked for his number since they wanted to call Daimon for work they need done. The work was done in a timely manner, and he made sure that we were 100% happy with the work that was performed. These pictures really don’t do the work justice; the area before all the landscaping was an atrocious wreck! These pictures were also taken right after the planting was done, so eventually when the plants go into full bloom, they will be much bigger, and quite beautiful.

My wife and I wanted to have a big deck built (around 400 sq ft), so we had several companies come in to do a quote for us. Right from the start, we noticed the difference in professionalism with Hickory Dickory Decks. Our contact person was Geoff Aucoin and he was exceptional. Very honest, personable, and customer service oriented. They were a bit more expensive than other companies, but we had a really good feeling about them, and we were right. We wanted a very low maintenance deck, and originally chose a product that we liked from a new manufacturer. However, due to some issues with the manufacturer (that had nothing to do with Hickory Dickory Decks), we had to find another product. Geoff was very accommodating and quite attentive during the whole process. We ending up choosing another product from one of their long-term suppliers and we could not be happier. Their installers are very professional, and I can honestly say that we always felt that we were valued customers, even after money changed hands. There was not one interaction that left me displeased. I have heard horror stories from friends that had quite the opposite experience that went with the lowest cost builder. I would recommend Hickory Dickory Decks to anyone who is looking for a beautiful, well-crafted deck!
