Ashlar Landscapes

I absolutely recommend Ashlar Landscapes to anyone who needs to work to be done to their property. I chose Ashlar because of all the positive reviews on Homestars, including how nice and diligent Daimon was, and the fact that they could do everything we wanted done. We wanted to have the following work performed:

- New sod put down in the backyard and have the land even out (re-graded),
- Interlocking brick to be laid down as a walkway along the side of the house, installed new steps to the side entrance of the house, plus laid down an interlocking brick BBQ area in the backyard
- Decorative River rock to be put down along the edges
- Several tree rings and planting areas to be created

Most other companies would not do any type planting, and since we only wanted to deal with one company, the fact the Ashlar did everything really appealed to us. He was very knowledgeable about the best types of plants for certain areas, and was a great help in picking the plants we wanted.

All of the positive reviews about Daimon and his crew are very well deserved. Everybody was extremely professional, very nice, and they were really receptive to any of our comments. Daimon laid out the costs clearly before any work was done, and he did not require a deposit before the work started. He made sure we were kept up to date with how the work was tracking, and answered all of our questions throughout the entire process. We have had many complements from our neighbours and several people have asked for his number since they wanted to call Daimon for work they need done.

The work was done in a timely manner, and he made sure that we were 100% happy with the work that was performed. These pictures really don’t do the work justice; the area before all the landscaping was an atrocious wreck! These pictures were also taken right after the planting was done, so eventually when the plants go into full bloom, they will be much bigger, and quite beautiful.
