Rick is now officially our 'go-to' guy for any tile installation we might need in the future. We had him do our small condo galley kitchen floor, removing old tile and installing new, and we're thoroughly delighted with the result. Also decided to upgrade to new kickplates for our cabinets and Rick was able to do it without a hitch. Neat, meticulous, knowledgeable, accommodating, punctual, reasonably priced and with a tremendous work ethic - it's not an exaggeration to say it was an absolute pleasure working with him. One of our best home reno experiences of all time.

We've purchased from Bloor/Dovercourt appliances before and were very happy, so this time, for the very tricky purchase of a condo washer/dryer (we just moved from a house to our first condo), we knew we had to go with a company that had stellar customer service. They went above and beyond, helping us with our rather tricky situation of finding something that met the building's rather picky requirements and something that could fit in our small laundry cupboard. It took us three tries, but we finally settled on great solution for our space and the staff were uniformly patient, knowledgeable about all aspects of every kind of appliance and unbelievably helpful (at the start of this whole process, Avo spent nearly one hour with me on the phone, giving me options, discussing dimensions etc. and Joe was also incredible when it came to advice). Their prices are comparable to big box stores and what you get in customer service is priceless as far as I'm concerned. They are the only company we will ever deal with for a purchase of any major appliance.

We were SO happy with this company! Our 4 year old Kenmore dishwasher was leaving food particles on the dishes after every washing. The gents, who were polite, personable, good humoured and efficient, thoroughly explained to us what was going on and showed us our clogged chopper once it was removed from the machine (yuck - where did all that come from?). They cleaned all parts while they were at it and now we finally have a working dishwasher once again! Will be using them in the future for any and all appliance repairs - without hesitation! The whole procedure was painless - great work guys!

It has taken me months to get around to this review (shame on me!) This service was worth every penny - what a difference it made to our basement bathroom walk in shower. The grout was an absolute mess - not cleaned or replaced since the 1970's. It was not an easy job as they had to do four walls plus the shower stall floor, and even the walk-in shower ceiling, which is tiled! They worked the entire day and now the shower looks like new. As well as grout cleaning, the calking along wall corners was replaced. Everything now sparkles. We would absolutely use this company again and certainly will in the future.

It has taken me months to getting around to this review - mostly because I wanted to make sure that no issues would crop up that weren't addressed. We're so glad we went with this company for a number of reasons. Our old East end home had had some electrical upgrades, but there was still k&t on every floor. It was quite miraculous how they managed to do the work with a minimum of fuss and probably the smallest and fewest holes possible, (according to someone who looked at the work and compared it to another job he had seen). Everything was kept neat and tidy, great attention was paid to clean up, holes were patched expertly, the workers were accomodating when we asked for changes - all in all a everything was terrific. Most importantly, their quote was also the best out of four that we had gotten and as a result we literally saved thousands of dollars. Frankly the biggest hassle related to the job was after they left and nothing to do with KNT i.e. having to paint the entire house! We would certainly use knt again.

Probably the nicest people we've ever had working for us (and we've had a quite a few!) I can't thank Nick and the crew enough - they took on a job that many said was impossible, and that two others had tried and failed at, and they succeeded! We had a problem with water run-off underneath our porch, a porch which was built atop a basement vestibule. Nick seems to be a bit of a creative engineering genius and believe me, this job needed genius (a very strange original construction meant there were not only leaks into the vestibule, but pooling of standing water sitting on the vestibule roof beneath the porch boards). This was SUCH a difficult job, but he came back twice to make sure it was done correctly. As others say - this group takes pride in their work to the nth degree and pay attention to every detail - fantastic! Their clean-up afterward also showed more attention and care than any we've ever experienced. I can't say enough good stuff about this company - again, absolutely the best experience we have ever had with a contractor! I would never hire anyone else for anything roofing or waterproofing related!

Great experience in every way for a very reasonable price. The job was rather involved, as the walls had to be washed down with TSP and water before priming and painting. The team was terrific in every way - probably the hardest workers we've ever had at our house, not to mention the neatest (SO organized, SO tidy!) Rob was accommodating in every way and paid strict attention to every detail. Seeing the final product made me realize that there is a BIG difference between doing it oneself (which we've done until this point) and having professionals do the work - the walls have never looked so good. Will recommend to friends and family!

We will never, ever, EVER use another company! Valentyn was incredible and, because of his honesty and creative thinking, he literally save us over $2000. We had a very strange situation - the drainage hose from the furnace was running through our basement shower stall wall to our shower floor drain (ridiculous, but it is an old house with a lot of quirky homespun solutions). We got two other quotes - plumbers who told us they'd have to create a deep trench and run the hose a long distance to hook it up to the main drain (quotes were about $2500 to do the work). Valentyn came up with a much simpler and cheaper solution, took care to ensure the pipe had the appropriate slope for proper drainage, and we finally have a shower stall that can actually be used!! His installation of a new laundry tub and faucet was equally trouble-free and perfect. Meticulous, honest, hardworking with reasonable pricing - thank you Valentyn and DrainCom!

Great experience - thanks Danny & Andrew! We had an awful, yellowed, splotchy popcorn ceiling in our fairly large dining room area (not to mention a old massive 1980's potlight). We now have a lovely smooth looking ceiling and two modern potlights - what a difference! Work was done in a day (though Andrew drove all the way back to touch up a couple of areas of paint - no hassle, unlike other companies who probably wouldn't have returned without a dozen nagging phonecalls). They kept the place clean, the work was done efficiently, the guys were easy to deal with - terrific! We would highly recommend the company to family and friends.

SO very happy we went with this company! I just wish every job around the house went as smoothly. Workmen were on time, the finished product looks great, the price was affordable. We'll be using them again in the future.

Brian is still in the driveway finishing up, but I couldn't wait to leave this feedback - boy did we luck out! Before we hired someone we walked up and down our local streets to take a look at brick replacement work and tuckpointing, and I can honestly say that ours is the best job in our entire area. Brian is an artist - you almost wouldn't know which bricks were replaced! And then there's the tuckpointing - the neatest, tidiest & most meticulous work we've ever seen (or had done on our house) We'll never use anyone else for masonry work and will definitely recommend the company to friends and family.

Over the years, in various homes, we've had out ducts cleaned at least 4 times and this was BY FAR the most thorough and efficient cleaning we've ever experienced! Nothing but great stuff to say about the company, and about Nick and Adrian, who were diligent, knowledgeable and pleasant (and worked SO hard) We would recommend the company to friends and family in an instant and will never use anyone else. Well done!

We are extremely satisfied with the work we had done by Galaxy windows. I'm no expert, but I think the windows are a very good quality and the new custom door they put in fits the very strange opening beautifully. To clarify, we inherited what looked like a homemade job on the basement door - everything was gappy and crooked. Galaxy put in an insulated door that is straight and true and fits as it should, tightly - what an improvement! We had a couple of small issues, one of which turned out not to be an issue at all, and both times Dmitri was on it right away and said they'd do whatever they needed to do to make us happy. You don't hear that very often these days! The two men who did the work (Vlad and another whose name escapes me), did it all in one day and worked tirelessly until the job was done. Only one quibble - if we had it to do over again, we might have chosen windows that were more symmetrical - on ours, the slider side of the window looks considerably smaller than its other half. I only mention this so that others will look into all options available from Galaxy, which we didn't do ( I'm sure most people would not care, but I'm a bit of a symmetry nut) All in all, a great job!

Rick and Anne were just terrific! We were attempting to add much needed new shelves to our linen closet - on removing the existing horizontal strapping we found ourselves with a mess - exposed lath and crumbling plaster everywhere. The Husband and Wife Team came, did the work of drywalling quickly, efficiently, affordably (and cleaned up beautifully after the work was done each day). Lovely people and a pleasure to deal with!

If it were possible to give a company 11 out of 10 stars, that would be the rating we'd give The Moore Brothers. Kevin, our contact, was a dream to work with! We needed my late Mother's condominium painted quickly for an open house – Kevin and the gang somehow managed it all very last minute and did an absolutely beautiful job. They understood what we wanted, were reasonable in price and left the place neat and tidy. Everything went without a snag, even though we weren't on the premises to oversee things. They will be the only painters we use in the future and will get our highest recommendation to family and friends. Well done Moore Brothers!
