I initially used HomeStars to get quotes for the renovation of our aging and not so functional bathrooms (main and master bedroom). Out of the initial quotes, Ronen and Mike were the ones that we felt were up to the challenge. And I can say we weren't wrong. Despite the logistic delays caused by the pandemic lockdown, Mike was able to finish both jobs in a timely and professional manner. I have to highlight the fact the he never rushed to finish things, given priority to quality and customer satisfaction over speed. We really appreciated that. The results, as shown in the photographs, speak for themselves. We will definitely have Perfectly Built in mnd for our future renovation projects.

Bad time of the year for the air conditioner to break down. I contacted Maxairen and Karnik was very helpful and explained all the details from diagnosis to repair. The issue was diagnosed promptly by Ben, who also did the actual repair (evaporator coil was leaking badly). Ben not only replaced the coil with a new component, he also explained how the plenum was not installed properly in the first place and he did a fantastic job rebuilding it and leaving it in perfect condition. I am very happy with the final results and I don't hesitate to recommend Maxaire.

We had an old kitchen in desperate need of renovation. Our budget was really tight, and from the beginning, it was a real pleasure to deal with Adam, starting from the actual quotation until the work was finished (which, by the way, was completed very promptly and to our satisfaction). Adam and his crew are really professional and respectful. Always on time and very responsive when handling the unexpected glitches that always come up during a renovation. We are really pleased with their work and especially with our new kitchen! We don't have any reservations on recommending Marmo Contracting, and we are sure we'll be using their services again in the near future.

Professional Roofers did an excellent job installing a new roof in my home. The crew arrived on time on the agreed day, and they installed the new shingles very thoroughly, focusing on quality and not on speed. After an initial misunderstanding regarding the price, Patrick, their sales representative, made a great effort to clarify and make things right. I really appreciate that, because it certainly feels reassuring to know that they are actually business out there that value and prioritize costumer satisfaction.

I was shopping to replace the old furnace and A/C unit in my home. They were still working, but they were on time to retire. After several quotes with various companies, Alliance came with the best quote, hands down. I also got a very good impression from Payman, who answered all my questions and did not try to sale unnecessary parts, like others did. The installers arrived early at home (actually earlier than agreed, but I didn't have an issue with that) and proceeded with the installation. They were courteous, prompt and respectful of my home. I am happy with the new furnace and a/c, but even happier to have selected a professional company like Alliance.

Same old story. Got conned into buying the extended warranty for a new washer and dryer. The washer worked OK for little less than a year, then the washer's door locking started malfunctioning, so I couldn't use it. Called TG, they said it would take 1 week for the technician to show up. I told them what the problem was, for them to tell the tech people to order the part (door latch), to save time (not fun going to the coin laundry place). When the tech showed up, he did not remove his dirty boots when going into the house, looked at the washer machine, saw the problem, and said "yes, it's the door latch, it'd take 10-15 days to get the part". And left. I called TG and told them a piece of my mind. I was not a happy camper. Luckily, the door latch lock (basically a magnet) started to work again after a few days, and it's still operational. Somebody from TG called me a couple of weeks ago, saying that some body would call me to book the installation of the new latch the following Monday...that was last week, still no call from them. Beware of The Brick extended warranty. It may work for some electronics or lemon products, but not for appliance repairs.

Before we moved to our house, the first thing to go was the ugly carpet in the dining/living room area (Carpet in a dining room? Seriously?). The realtor recommended Acadian from previous positives experiences from himself and a few other clients. They have a very good selection in store, although the sales person in the showroom was not very knowledgeable but still helpful. The price was pretty good for 6 inch plank hardwood, and the installer they recommended was punctual and professional, finishing the job neatly and on time.

Woke up one day to a leaky ceiling in the kitchen. Not very nice. After inspecting the shower valves, I gave up and decided to call a plumber. I decided for Mr. Rooter after checking the reviews. Two other companies I called didn't offer same day service. The plumber was at our house on time. Neat and professional during the assessment and repair. He even quoted a reasonable price for changing the old two handle shower into a new single handle. I certainly recommend Mr. Rooter.
