We wanted to create an open concept in our house, and we wanted it to be done RIGHT. We spoke to many General contractors and realized this is a job for a Structural specialist. We then refined our search and connected with a few structural experts. We got the reference of Raouf (Dynamic Wall removal) from Homestars and once we spoke to him we realized he has the knowledge and can handle our project. We did also visit his site where he was doing a major structural renovation of a 100+ yrs heritage home, this gave us additional confidence as the job site we visited was on a much larger scale. We signed up with Raouf and once we were ready all of it was smooth sailing. He and his team are very professional, came on time and kept the place very neat and clean. We had the first inspection for the footing and it passed without any problems. The second inspection was also good. As a Structural Engineer / specialist the work Raouf and his team do is not visible but is very very important as the whole house rests on this structure. So they deserve equal if not more credit than the general contractors who do cosmetic work. Our main floor now looks huge, it was very choppy earlier. We would like to thank Raouf and his team for all their hard work and helping us with this open concept.

I wanted to have the Back Water Valve(BWV) installed after the floods in Mississauga. I called Drain Rooter Plumbing and Mike was quick to respond and came to my house at a short notice. He was able to locate the drain where the BWV had to be installed and gave the price / quote on the project. After talking to him we realized he has vast knowledge in this field (since this is my first house we have limited knowledge of this), he took time and explained to us in detail the process he would follow to have the valve installed. We agreed on a date when the valve was going to be installed and Mike and his crew were on time for the appointment and did the work efficiently and cleanly. Thank you Mike for the quick response and making this easy for us. We will definitely reach-out to him for future projects we may have. Bikram

At DrainRooter Plumbing we recommend to have a backwater valve installed to all of our clients because a drain backup is a major issue to deal with, it can cause a lot of damages and they are costly to repair. It was a wise decision to have a backwater valve installed at your home, this will prevent any backups from happening in the future and you will avoid renovations due to backup damages to the walls, floor and ceiling (also damage to furniture and valuables). Hello, What can I say about the service from Reliance, TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND NO VALUE FOR CUSTOMERS TIME. I decided to go with Reliance after reading the reviews on homestars and the award they received in 2013. Their quote was amongst the highest quotes I had received but I decided to go with them expecting to get highest level of professionalism and customer service from them. But none of that happened. I was informed that Reliance uses only employees but from the first day I had contractors show up in the team of employees. When receiving the quote it was discussed with the Sales person Mike that the out take pipe from the furnace will be extended to take air from the outside of the house rather than inside and the price was included in the quotation. But the Contractor disconnected both the Intake and Out pipe(which I had not wanted to be changed as it was changed only 3 - 4 years ago, and I landed paying him $565 for that and one more part) I was informed by the contractor Brandon from BC Roy Mechanical about the change of pipe after he had disconnected which I found very unprofessional. The pipes he fixed were not up-to code and had to be re-installed as the Enbridge guys were going to tag them. It took few days for Brandon to come and install the pipes, but still did not complete the installation. The new plenum which was made and installed had cold air leaking from it and the Thermostat which was supposed to be installed was never installed until mid August. I was not feeling the cooling on the second floor and even after 3 - 4 scheduled appointments Brandon(the contractor) never showed up. Finally when I raised the issue with the install Manager he send 2 technicians from his team, who were able to do the work. But they too had difficulty in installing the Thermostat. It was August and I did not start the heat to check trusting the technicians who were employees of Reliance would do a quality job. Then in early September when the temperature suddenly dipped on one weekend the furnace wouldnot start I called Reliance and they send a Contractor to fix the problem. It was a faulty installation / defective thermostat which had was installed earlier by Reliance. The contractor had a Very basic Non programmable Thermostat with him so having No choice I had to get it installed as I had to get the furnace started since I have a toddler at home. Then I brought this to the attention of the Customer resolution team and on September 12th and an appointment was fixed with the install Manager for Sept 26th afternoon to change the Thermostat but again NO show from Reliance Home comfort and NO one even called to inform about the change. I stayed home all afternoon as I need this to be fixed. So in all total 3 - 4 earlier No shows by the contractor and now a NO show after fixing the time directly with the install manager. Is there anyone in Reliance Home comfort who is professional enough to get this fixed and if this is too much of a hassle / problem then please take the AC back and refund my money as I have a 10 year warranty on parts and labor on this product and within 4 months I have seen it all and don't think I can manage it for 10 years. UPDATE THANK YOU HAMiD FOR STEPPING INTO THIS FOR US AND HELPING ME RESOLVE THE ISSUES I HAD WITH THE INSTALL. WE FINALLY HAVE A NEW THERMOSTAT INSTALLED !!! BIKRAM

Hello, I have taken the services of Albvision earlier too last year when I replaced the Porch enclosure and Tony had done a fabulous job. I used him again for changing 2 windows and again he has done a great job. Great customer service and on Time. We have to replace the windows in a short time and he was able to get the windows made and replaced in a couple of day. Thanks again Tony.

I have a rental water Heater from Direct Energy, the customer service from Direct Energy is HORRIBLE. I called them on Monday and fixed an appointment for a service on Tuesday between 12.00 - 4.00 PM and when no one showed up till 3.45 I called them and they said the appointment was for tomorrow, Wednesday. They advertise same day service if called before 5.00 PM and both yesterday and today I inquired about the service and was told that NO technicians was available for the service. The scheduler just said you are booked for tomorrow and we donot have any time for today and disconnected the phone. They are also saying that if service has to be disconnected then we have to buy the water heater for $1050 + tax ... They do not allow us to go to another provider and they also provide 3rd grade service. Lets hope they come tomorrow and fix the problem.

I had been talking to Tony since 2012, when I had problems with my old porch enclosure. I had called many companies in Mississauga from home stars and others I could find but none of them were interested in repairing an enclosure which was not installed by them, Tony was the only one who came to my rescue and answered my questions. I then got a new enclosure installed by Tony in 2013. I did get quotes from other companies also but Tony 's quote was very reasonable and also he was always ready to go beyond his call to get the work done correctly and answer all our questions. Later I had called him for some other work and he was there as promised. I will highly recommend Tony for his work professionalism, punctuality and workmanship.
