I was very pleased when Gord came out to the house to explain the procedure to me and listen to my concerns. He was very observant and showed me areas I hadn't thought of. We discussed a lot of things so I was very pleased when it was also Gord who came out to do the caulking. Selected colours were appropriate to brick, etc. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this firm.

Damian was doing a big job for one of our neighbours so I went over to speak to him about a quote for our red maple. He was very pleasant and responded well to what I wanted done. I was impressed with his knowledge and that he was a certified arborist. He gave me a written quote and I contacted the office to set up an appt. He and his nice team arrived at the scheduled time, set up quickly and went to work. The tree was beautifully trimmed (it's an oldie but we love the shade) but he still left us privacy from homes around. I was also grateful that he declared the tree 'sound' for the winter winds!! His crew cleaned up really well and I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Thank you Tracy for your positive words. I'm only glad that you took your responsibility as a tree owner to look after it! Topped trees can be really go out of shape and become hazardous when neglected for a long time. Hope to hear from you in 2-3years for another maintenance. Have a warm winter!

A number of neighbours have dealt with Underhill's over the years as this is an established company and I was pleased with the results. I liked what they had done for a neighbour using stones and I wanted them in our design. David came right out and worked with me to design garden in front of the house. He was very amenable to some changes I wanted from previous garden, one of them being low maintenance and low watering as I am getting older. This work was done when promised, crews were friendly and helpful and David kept an eye on the job, returning with an extra plant that I wanted. The area was left clean and neat. Follow up has been good and the plants are all doing well and are guaranteed for a year. Also, I am very pleased with his design using bricks to establish retaining walls by the driveway and walkway and elsewhere.

Very pleased with salesman Ken's knowledge and follow up to questions. Val, the installer, did an outstanding job, very neat and came up with a super idea regarding our high ceiling - he dropped it by making a box then installing the 'boat' top. Felt the installer really knew his stuff. Product has stood up well since it was first installed May 2011 and still maintains it's shine - a plumber who was working at our house for something else actually thought the walls were tile! Fixtures are still working fine as well. Didn't go for a shower door at this time and shower curtain and rod works well with no water coming over the top lip of the bottom section. Bev, the AC at the office, has always responded to my email questions quickly and pleasantly. Patrick, another installer, has dropped by the house in answer to some questions and has always been most pleasant to deal with. I would definitely recommend Bath Fitters to install a shower stall from an old bath tub as the job is completed in 3 days - none of this waiting forever for a new bathroom. Unit has also never leaked. Got the corner shelving unit that even has a lower shelf that one can put your leg up onto when shaving. I used the Toronto airport location but this has since moved back to Scarborough on Finch Ave. E.

Our over 55 year old bungalow with concrete veranda over a cold cellar needed pointing badly. I met with John over a year ago and was impressed with his knowledge and not pushy at all. Just this month Ray and Shaun worked steadfastly over 3 days to re point it, caulk and then helpfully went over the rest of the brick around the house to point where needed. The fellows were so pleasant to work with, the job was done neatly (grass area where they mixed mortar was covered up) and the supervisor, Dave also came to see the job. We have had pointing done over the years but nothing like the evenness/neatness of this. Ray even came up with his own idea of where the water might be coming in so extra work was done on the arm of the veranda and yet you'd never know it. Ray also did a lovely job of parging down the side of our home where we'd had waterproofing work done. I was also pleased that the office would contact me if the work was to be delayed and if I emailed them they responded quickly. I'd definitely recommend Red Robin.

Just wanted to say how very pleased we were with Bruno, Chris and the rest of the guys during their 3 days with us doing the 4 outside walls of our home. They were all so pleasant and helpful, willing to explain anything I asked - and patiently! They started each day so early and worked so late and not always in the best weather - yet were always so nice. I felt they really knew their stuff and intelligently fixed any cracks or unexpected things they came across (veranda)! Their work was also very neat and our green lawn is still green even though it had lots of earth piled on it! They cleaned up beautifully each day and I couldn't believe how neatly one could dig a trench by hand i.e.our back wall. The team went above and beyond when relaying our patio stones so that my elderly mom, myself and the postman could walk safely....without piles of muck stuck on our shoes. When a few missed items were mentioned after the job was finished, Chris was more than willing to come and correct them i.e. lattice work from deck and driveway where cut needed some more stones. Most importantly I had left them our house key so that they could use our hot water for the work and also use our washroom yet I always felt the team was trustworthy whether inside the house alone or with my mother. . Jamie, our salesman, was also outstanding and knowledgeable, always ready to answer my questions whether through email, phone or in person - he really knows his stuff and it was comforting knowing that he had once been a waterproofer as well. Waterproofing is a big step, not only financially but esthetically, particularly when one has grown up in a house like myself - to see the landscaping totally stripped was a shock as we cut everything down (bushes) and to see gaping holes as the work was done. That's why it is so helpful to see everything left as neat as possible, particularly when one cares about the home as we do. I am also happy that there will be a free follow up in the spring to re level the soil - that certainly shows responsibility about doing a job well.
