I had Inova build my kitchen cabinets three years ago. I decided to have some additional cabinetry built because I liked the originals so much and they were so well made they still look brand new. I ordered a custom cupboard with a built in ventilation system, a device that made it easy for me to move my refrigerator, and a rolling kitchen island. When the original island was installed, it wasn't exactly to the specifications I ordered, so Albert and the crew rebuilt it to match my requirements exactly. The new one is beyond perfect. I am so happy with it. All my countertop appliances fit perfectly into the drawers as though it were custom made for them. (Well, it was, actually) and my kitchen looks so perfect I plan never to cook in it again. Thank you, Albert, Wendy and the Inova team. You made me ridiculously happy today.

I've hired Space Solutions a couple of times before to build custom window seats for two different homes. They're super reliable, their designer, Micheline, is topnotch, and always asks the difficult questions to ensure that I've thought through exactly what I want. I appreciate that, because "everyone's a designer" - until it comes down to "les petites choses" and that's when you need a Micheline in your life. So when it came to needing a custom sliding door for a new bathroom, I pretty much knew I'd be going to Space Solutions. It was a unique project: very tall, narrow door, and it had to be opaque enough for a bathroom but still allow some window light. It was installed yesterday, and actually I'd say the look is even better than I thought it was going to be. I've learned over time that I should just shut up and trust Micheline and Space Solutions. What I also love is that any little details are taken care of cheerfully, the installer leaves the site spotless, and they always deliver exactly when they say they'll deliver.

I have a set of four beautiful old dining chairs. I'd had them reglued once before but they were badly done and I was reluctant to spend more money on them if they were going to get wobbly again. I read a review on Homestars about Broken Leg Furniture Repair and I thought, this guy sounds like he knows what he's doing. I brought them to Tom at Broken Leg last week and within days he called me to say my chairs were ready. I picked them up today and they are terrific. It was definitely worth the drive out to Gerrard and Coxwell to get the chairs repaired properly.

I posted a lengthy story about a problem I had with a service issue on my new furnace, with A Plus Air Systems Inc. I am happy to say that the service manager and one of the owners called me today, were very helpful, and resolved the issue to my complete satisfaction. It has been six long weeks but I was really pleased that they took the time to understand the issue, accept responsibility, and resolve the situation promptly. Based on their response, I would, in fact, recommend A Plus Air Systems. It has been an excellent furnace since they installed it two years ago and they are a reliable company.

I called Brothers Plumbing because I needed some copper plumbing pipe installed in my basement. I chose them because their office was in the neighbourhood. One of their representatives came to give me an estimate on a same-day basis. On the date the work was done, the men arrived on time, did the work efficiently and left the worksite perfectly neat and clean. They were prompt, considerate and respectful and the quality of their work was professional. Their representative followed up with me afterwards to ensure I was satisfied. I appreciated that extra touch.

I'd seen some modern kitchen cabinets in primary colours with a shiny finish in the window of INOVA, and I thought I'd get an estimate from them. I knew from other people that I'd have to be prepared to wait a bit to get them built, and so I was prepared for that. The estimate was fairly reasonable, and they were really painstaking about coming to measure and re-measure, which I appreciated, because I have an older building and nothing is level, straight or at right angles. I had four pre-installation visits, but it was worth it. In the end, I waited three months from the time I placed my order till the cabinets were installed. The installation took exactly the length of time they estimated - three days. I'm glad I agreed to let them handle the installation, plus the plumbing and electrical, because coordinating the installation with my plumber and electrician would have been a nightmare. Their trades were really nice guys, and the result was a seamless job. Best of all, they cleaned up really well before they left. The boss came and supervised the work crew every day, and did a fair amount of the work himself. It really was a good job from beginning to end, and I would recommend Inova for custom kitchen cabinets that won't break the bank. I wanted a kind of non-traditional look and the result is exactly what I wanted. Thanks to Albert and Wendy, and the whole Inova crew, for everything. I'm so happy with the finished product.

A couple of years ago, Space Solutions built and installed a custom window seat in my dining room. It looked great, was really comfortable, and provided much needed extra storage space. It was exactly what I wanted. Soon after, I sold my house (the window seat was a huge selling feature) and I found I really missed the window seat in my new place. So I called up Space Solutions. They sent the same designer, Micheline, and she drew up plans for an almost identical window seat, this time in the master bedroom. The window seat was installed last week by two very neat, efficient, highly skilled and very personable young men, both named Christian. They did a fantastic job and were such a pleasure to work with. All in all, this was a good news story from beginning to end. I love my window seat, and I'd highly recommend Space Solutions for any built-in cabinetry. Would I use them again? In a heartbeat. Would I recommend them? Without hesitation. Space Solutions is fabulous, and they go the extra mile to ensure the client is entirely happy. Thanks to Barb, to Micheline, and to both Christians, for a job well done.

Jamie and his crew were recommended by my contractor when a leak was discovered coming from the roof area. They came next day to inspect the job, and I asked them to take on a few other tasks while they were up there. They arrived early this morning, got all the work done very neatly and efficiently, and were all very pleasant to work with. I'd definitely choose them again. Jamie is a really nice guy, and I appreciated the prompt and speedy service. You hear horror stories about roofers, but these guys are the kind you can trust. Best of all, I don't have to worry about my roof any longer. Thank you, Jamie. I didn't get to say so before you left, but I totally appreciate your help.

Aaron, Andrew and Chris at Fireman Movers totally over-delivered when they moved my home yesterday. They are polite, personable, friendly, STRONG and hardworking. They do everything with a smile on their faces, take great care of my precious possessions, and go the extra mile to make their client happy. Excellent - and adorable too! I'd like to adopt them all.
