Great guy, great work, great price

Had an oval light oak side table that someone fell into and split the top. Used Homestars to find someone who wouldn't turn their nose up at a small job and found John at Broken Leg. He dowled, clamped and glued it, it was ready three days later, and no one, not even my picky wife, can see the split. A real old-school tradesman.

Thanks Bob, but the name is Tom, not John.

Regluing wooden dining chairs

I have a set of four beautiful old dining chairs. I'd had them reglued once before but they were badly done and I was reluctant to spend more money on them if they were going to get wobbly again. I read a review on Homestars about Broken Leg Furniture Repair and I thought, this guy sounds like he knows what he's doing. I brought them to Tom at Broken Leg last week and within days he called me to say my chairs were ready. I picked them up today and they are terrific. It was definitely worth the drive out to Gerrard and Coxwell to get the chairs repaired properly.

Repair Antique China Cabinet & Antique Chair

Tom was great to work with. He did an excellent job on a 108 year old round china cabinet that needed some joints fixed. He also did a wonderful job on an antique chair that has need to be repaired for at least 50 years. Both jobs were done in a week and we are very happy with his work.
