After reading the great reviews on Homestars, we contacted Brian from Cummins Restorations. It was great that he responded right away and made an appointment for the next day to quote. He was punctual, seemed like he knew what he was talking about, and very easy to deal with so we hired him. Two weeks later as promised he arrived with his assistant and started work. They were both fantastic to deal with!! I could not believe how quick they worked and the quality was amazing!! There was no mess, and when Brian finished, the following day, the brick work looked new again! We would highly recommend Brian to anyone needing brick work done. He is such a wonderful person and really takes pride in his work! Thanks Brian!!!!!!

We had called because our 17 year old furnace was not working properly. Our technician immediately found the work done a month previous by another company had not be done properly, and in fact the furnace had breached. It was after 5 pm by this time and middle of February. Tim called his supplier and arranged to pick up a new energy efficent unit. He returned with 2 other ppl and spent the night converting/installing the new furnace. We were so amazed at the service, and quality of the work done that we decided to use him again to install a new a/c unit. This time he did the install himself and as previous the service was fantastic, and a/c unit totally amazing! We could not believe how efficient the unit was! We would recommend Tim at Hargrave Heating to anyone looking for HVAC work to be done.

I would recommend Mr. Potlight to anyone who wants to enhance the overall look of their home with lighting. Great pricing!! The installers were on time, and qualified. The potlights were of excellent quality and wiring was direct from the circuit breaker. I was surprised at how little mess is made! Thanks Mr. Potlight!! (John and Mohammed)

We have had a great experience with Clera Windows. The sales rep for the Markham area is Rick and he is a very wonderful person to work with. We had 4 companies quote in total and Rick's presentation was by far the best. When comparing the quality of the windows against others; Clera was clearly superior. Installation was right within the timeframe given. Mark and Chase did the whole install. The quality of the install was fantastic. I had California shutters on a good number of windows and Mark was able to reinstall them for me. To my surprise they fit quite well over the new frames. We did have an issue with one window in the laundry room. When Rick saw it, he agreed and had the window remade in a different style. A rush was put on the order and the window was delivered in days. I would highly recommend Clera Windows ( Rick, Mark and Chase) to anyone considering window replacement. The service was outstanding!

We have used VA Reid (Dave and Steve Reid) for the past 26 years. They have always responded right away to our calls and arrived on time. The quality of service is exceptional and their staff are very professional. I would recommend their services to everyone.

DEALT WITH ROD IN 2008. FIRST MET HIM AT THE HOME SHOW AND HE SEEMED QUALIFIED. WE HIRED HIM TO DO A COMPLETE KITCHEN RENO. THERE WERE MANY CONFRONTATIONS WITH ROD OVER THE MESS,, UNQUALIFIED STAFF, AND QUALITY OF MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP. WHEN I ASKED WHY MY GRANITE WAS TOTALLY SCRATCHED HE SAID THAT IS THE WAY IT IS. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT GET IT DONE YOURSELF. WHEN I ASKED ABOUT THE CABINETS AND WHY THEY HAD DISCOLOURATION, AND MARKS; HIS REPLY WAS THAT THE MANUFACTURER SENT THEM THAT WAY. THE FLOOR WAS DONE BY ONE OF HIS SUPPLIERS AND THEY DID A PROFESSIONAL JOB ON THEM. THE ELECTRICAL IS STILL A NIGHTMARE TO THIS DAY. THE POTLIGHTS DON'T WORK AND SHORT OUT, THE DISHWASHR CAN'T BE TURNED ON WHEN THE POTLIGHTS ARE ON. HE HOOKED THE STOVE AND MICROWAVE TO THE SAME CIRCUIT AND IT CAUSED MAJOR PROBLEMS. I HAD TO GET AN ELECTRICIAN IN TO FIX IT. THE JOB WAS NOT COMPLETE AND HE DEMANDED THE FINAL 10%. I SIAD NO AND HE WALKED OFF THE JOB. ABOUT 6 MONTHS LATER HE RETURNED AND I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO PAY HIM TO GET THE JOB FINISHED. IT HAS BEEN 3 1/2 YEARS (PICTURES ATTACHED) AND THE CABINETS ARE A MESS,... PEELING, FALLING APART AND THE KITCHEN ALREADY NEEDS REDONE. I DON'T SUGGEST ANYONE DEALS WITH HIM!

We are very pleased with our new garage door. Brandon sold us the door and provided great knowledge on the product and even showed us the difference to other door manufacturers. The install was promised in 2 weeks and they did deliver on time. Brandon also did the install and did a fantastic job. It was a pleasure to work with such professional people who really care about customer service. Thank you!!! I will recommend you to my friends and neighbours!!
