I was amazed at the incompetence of Mr. Handyman. I intitially got a quote of 1.5 hours for the 3 tasks in my house. Not even one task out of the three was completed and after 1.5 hours I was given a bill of $250. The tasks were pretty simple and included installing a light fixture, reinstalling range hood and installing 2 tiles with a glue with no grout work. The fixture was half installed and the technician drilled multiple holes in the new cabinet of my brand new kitchen and still could not line up the screws to fix the hood. He almost sat on my glass top stove to do the work and had I not stopped he may have broken the glass on my cook stove. I can do a better job than Mr. Handyman. Since I did not want to pick a fight with the technician, I paid the invoice and immediately called the office who said that they will investigate and get back to me. Its been 3 days and I have not heard from them. I am absolutely dissapointed at the quality of service that I received from Mr. Handyman. I had read the reviews before engaging them but my experience was not good at all. I will engage someone else to complete the unfinished work. Update On June 1, 2016 : I was contacted by the Company and they have offered me a full refund. The 4 stars are for the customer service.
