I phoned Martino Hvcac and they sent someone out the next day to a noise issue I was having with my furnace. Dave came and diagnosed it to be the inducer motor, ordered part and Trevor came the day after and replaced it. Overall, great customer service from when you call and to the service people who come for the repair. I would say the costs are reasonable and worth it to know that it was done right. I would definitely use them again and appreciate the fast response.

I had 4 window companies come and give me quotes for 17 windows (10 openings), not only was Ambia the best price but Cameron was the least pressure and straight forward than the others. From beginning to end Cameron was there to help and answer any questions I had. I was so impressed with Ambia, I referred a number of friends and family to them. This install was part of the Greenon program which meant they were very busy. I had my windows installed at the beginning of May. Simon and his crew worked quickly and did a great job. There were some issues with the Vinylbilt windows (quality control issues, no fault of Ambia) and Vinylbilt came out a few weeks later to fix the issues (this is why you get windows with a good warranty). I did have some issues with the Greenon rebate submission by Ambia as a number of errors caused a few delays. I had to use my own time to call Greenon a number of times to get things sorted out. Overall, I would highly recommend Ambia and will be going to them to get the rest of my windows done in the future.

Called for an estimate and Alex came by to have a look. He answered all my questions and didn't try to up sell me on stuff i didn't need. Quote was very competitive and I agreed to go ahead the same day. The only small issue I had was that I had to call back a couple of times to schedule the appointment. With the Greenon rebate I knew they were busy. The hold up was the Milton office, but with the help of Alex and the head office I got a quick appointment later that week. The guys that came and were friendly and professional. They were knowledgeable and helpful. I didn't notice any change in temperature for a couple of days, but now I do find it is warmer and the heat is contained longer in the house.

I had a broken window that needed replacing. I couldn't decide between replacing just the window or the the window units in the room. Called a few places and got a number of quotes for both options. Some didn't call back or only discussed it over the phone. Steve from Fortress wanted to come by my house have a look at the window and discuss my options. From the beginning there was no pressure and he answered all my questions. At one point I wanted to replace all the window units in the room (builder grade) but later switched back to just replacing the window pane. Steve was very understanding and helpful. The window pane was ordered and he came to install it. Fortress was cheaper than everyone else, but without a compromise in quality of window. We will be calling him when it is time to replace the windows in our house.

I got a few estimates and SealallPavement was reasonably priced. It was a small job sealing about 500 sq feet of patio stone that was put in last year. All the other estimates insisted on redoing the polymeric sand, but I asked Danny's opinion and he agreed with me that it is not needed as everything was already in great condition. He is an honest person who takes the time to make sure the job is done right, even the small jobs. Highly recommended!

I decided to try Sterling Cleaning and Restoration after seeing a great deal on a group buy site and reading some reviews. Ryan (owner) came as scheduled and on time to clean the ducts in my 2 year old house. He was very easy to deal with and answered all my questions. He did a great job and I was able to see the ducts flex and dust come out (where there was not a tight seal in the ducts) in my unfinished basement. Seeing this reassured me that they were getting clean. He also pointed out an area where the return air was not closed off properly by the builders and took the time to fix it for me. He also cleaned the return air ducts. I would definitely use them again.

One side of our house is like an oven with the afternoon sun, so I called up Apex to get more information on their window film. I requested an appointment and a few days later Dean came by to show us different options and answered all our questions. His price was very reasonable and installation was arranged very quickly. Installation went smoothly. We did have one problem with one of the films (a hair under the film) and Dean took care of it right away. The installer was back and replaced the film without any problems, I was impressed with their customer service. Now, we can enjoy the sun in the afternoon without the UV and all the heat! This window film works great!

So this is the third time someone in my family has used Eagle Fence (my second time - used them 5 years ago) and my first time organizing a neighborhood. Overall another great experience and I know this fence was done right. Here are the pros: - They will take their time and try to dig the post holes 4 feet deep (I would guess 95% of the post holes were 4 feet or very close to it). Another company across the street only did the post holes 3 to 3 1/2 deep, a couple were even less. - Jeton is very honest with you and won't give you BS (I did my research, one company got onto my email list and tried to pretend to be a homeowner and mislead me about other things), they are also insured by WSIB (if a company does not have this then you are liable if they get injured on your property, you can confirm this on the internet, another company mislead me and said they had it) and they have liability insurance. - they use better hardware on gates (don't have to reach over the gate to open it, there is a lever at the front), longer screws for the framing of the fence. - they are very accurate on doing the survey for the property line - 5 year warranty on the fence and you know they will still be around in 5 years - they have their own property where all the lumber is stored and you can go visit them - they bring the materials they need on that day where many companies have the loads of wood sitting on someones lawns for days or even weeks often damaging the lawn. -they clean up the garbage the same day before they leave. Other companies (like the one working across the street) will leave piles of garbage and only pick up once a week or longer. Cons: - they do cost a little more than many of the other fence companies and won't budge on their price (the better contractors are often more expensive once they get a good reputation), but you usually get what you pay for. What good is a warranty if the company is not around in a few years. - they are in high demand so their timelines are delayed, especially this year with all the rain. But once they start, they finish very quickly and don't leave to do other jobs. for example, the company working across the street started two weeks earlier and many houses are still waiting for their gates. - since I organized the neighborhood, I was relied on to pass on messages to Eagle Fence. I confirmed with them that I could just email the changes to them and I didn't have to send in a new estimate. I did that but some of the changes were not done or I had to regularly speak to the workers to make sure they were aware of the changes. I am not sure if they worked things out with the neighbors directly. Overall, highly recommended, do your research! and all backyard fences are not the same.

I had recently bought a 5 Gallon Aquarium and needed to purchase stuff for it. I really didn't know a lot about what I needed. When I entered the store there were no hard pressure selling and I was easily able to find a staff member to ask for their help. He took his time and educated me on what I needed and what kind of fish I can or can not have. Ended up purchasing a heater, and a number of accessories to get started. Once I get the water to where it is suppose to be at, I will be taking my 3 year old back to pick out his fish! Overall, very helpful, no pressure and great to walk around with kids to look at the huge selection.

I used BBQ boy for our recently moved in house and my previous house. He is friendly and knowledgeable. He installed a gas line for my BBQ and never had any problems with it. I also asked about a blower fan for my fireplace and he explained why it wasnt needed for my house because of the size of the house and position of fireplace, saved me lots of $$. Using a gas fitter is not cheap but his prices are very competitive.

He came and installed a waterline for my fridge, used quality parts and not the do it yourself kits which tend to leak more overtime with PEX piping. Very knowledgeable and friendly.

I called a couple of glass companies to find out about doing a glass panel backsplash for my kitchen. George from Precision Glass was the quickest and gave me a quote over the phone based on the measurements I gave him. We arranged for a visit and he came by to laser measured my kitchen walls and confirmed the quote he gave me over the phone. Things in life don't always go as planned, there were some issues with the glass and the supplier which lead to delays. This could have easily turned into a job gone wrong, but George gave amazing customer service from day one and compensated me for the delays. He responded to my messages right away, kept me up to date regarding the re-ordered glass and kept on the supplier to get it done as soon as possible. I never had any problems getting a hold of George and he always addressed my concerns in a professional manner. The painted tempered glass is great quality for a reasonable price and it looks great!! George and his team are very knowledgable with anything to do with glass and I would not hesistate to use them again because even though things go smoothly the majority of time, you definately want the best customer service if things don't go perfectly.

First I want to say the product is amazing, the shutters are second to none. Also, I have no problems with delays as long as I am informed before they happen. The biggest problem I have is being left in the dark and promises to call back never happened. Alan came to our new house to help us with shutters (Lower level) and blinds (upper level). He was great answering our questions. We were not sure which blinds we wanted so we also went to their new showroom. The prices were competitive and Alan showed us around the new showroom after I gave him the deposit. We were told it would take 3 to 4 weeks for the installation to be completed. 4 weeks pasted by and I did not hear anything from them, so I called to follow-up on my order (It was a Friday). The woman who answered the phone said she would call back in 10 minutes and let me know. 5 hours later she phoned back to tell me that the shutters were in but the blind would be in on Monday and they would call me to schedule the installation by Tuesday. Tuesday past and I did not hear from them, so I called on Wed to follow up again, she said she would call back and 5 minutes. 6 hours later no phone call, so I called back and she rudely told me that Alex would call me to schedule the appointment tomorrow (so I assumed they were in). No one called on Thursday. I was getting tired of dealing with the woman on the phone, so I phone Alan and left a message explaining the situation and asked him to phone me back. He never called, but I did get a call the same day to schedule an appointment (the install date was 6 full weeks after i put the order in) and was told Alex will be doing the installation and it will take 3 hours. On the installation day Ted showed up and explained that they were very busy and they hired him to help with the installation. It took him 7 hours to finish the installation, I had to scramble to arrange to take off more time off work since I only booked a half day off. Alex came by later that day as there were some small issues with 'side channels' I ordered. He explained he was going to stop doing the installations and focus on other parts of the business. He also checked the install job that ted completed. Make sure you have some touch up paint for the window frame as I showed him a chip/scratch on the window frame that went down to the wood, he said it was normal since the frame is not square. Also, one of the blinds was measured incorrectly (totally understand mistakes happen) so they had to re order it. When I mentioned that I was going to pay most of what was owing and the rest when other blind was installed, he seemed offended but after discussing it he agreed. I also explained the communication problems and he appologized. He then said he will call me on Monday to tell me when they would expect the missing blind would come in. After all that Monday passed and no one called! I had to call Tuesday to ask when the blind would be in. 8 1/2 weeks after I ordered the shutter and blinds, the job was complete. Again, the product is fantastic and dealing with Alan and Alex face to face was great as well. But it is unfortunate there is very little communication with the customer after the order has been put through. I would assume based on the other reviews that if they were not busy, you would get the order in the 3-4 weeks.

Great customer service at this location. Everyone is very helpful. Urban Barn has quality products. Ordered a sofa, 2 leather swivel chairs, entertainment unit and lights. Delievery is done by profession movers. Everyone comments how nice the items look. I just can not resist visiting the store when I am in the area.

We were moving to a new house and of course the builder wanted to charge too much for an A/C unit. Once I knew I wanted a Trane A/C and Bradford White water heater I shopped around. I spoke to Pete at Button's and he took the time to explain the different models and gave a reasonable quote, not the cheapest but pretty close. I wanted a reputable installer as that is the most important thing when it comes to an A/C unit. Before I decided to go with Button's I phoned Pete a few times about some questions I had, he almost always answered his phone right away or responded quickly if I left a message. Since I was also having my gas stove delivered the same day, Pete also arrange to have to gas hooked up. On installation day, Todd, John and Ryan came out to do the installation. They were very careful when moving everything down to the basement and it was not easy! Everything they installed was very clean and professionally done and they did not leave any mess behind. They took the time to explain the features of each product and answered all my questions. They also gave me a number of helpful tips about the products and my furnace. A big plus was hooking up the gas stove for me. The customer service was A+ from day one from speaking to Pete to the final installation by Todd, John and Ryan. Eveyone was friendly and I would definately recommend Button's to anyone!

Choosing a highly rated company on Homestars worked out great again. Arby was the only person to actually come to my place to have a look at how much needed to be moved and gave me a very reasonable quote and he also took the time to answer all my questions. A big plus is that they do not book more than one move on the same day. On moving day the guys arrived early. Arby told me a couple of days before that he would send out an extra truck just in case. His expertise paid off as the second truck was also needed. We could not believe how quickly the 4 guys moved! They moved boxes non stop for about 3 hours. After I finally got the keys to the new house, they moved very quickly again for 3 hours. They were very careful in moving all the boxes, not one thing got broken! They were also very helpful in taking apart furniture before the move and puting it back togather at the new house. I would highly recommend Arby Cartage and would definately use them again.

You absolutely can not go wrong with Dmitri and tilestars. He is a professional, friendly and honest guy. He takes pride in his job and won't leave until it is perfect. He took his time with me and picking out a tile for my kitchen back splash that fit my budget. In the end he did an amazing job and the tile he recommended was better than I could have imagined and it tied in perfectly with my granite counters, cabinets and floors. I would use him again without a second thought.

We are very happy with the new granite counters. Gustavo was great to deal with, very friendly and helpful with any concerns that came up. From beginning to end, it was a very smooth and quick process. Great price for a quality counter top. Highly recommended!! There was one very small and minor issue I had regarding the disposal of my old laminate counter tops. Gustavo explained to me it would be $100 for them to dispose of the old laminate counters and he said it would be the same price if I took it myself to dispose of. I ended up disposing of it myself, and its a good thing, it turns out it was only $10 for residents of Vaughan.
