Didn't have hot water since yesterday. We are an unusually big family of 10 so it was a great inconvenience. Gurmeet was scheduled to come from 10 to 2 and he came surprisingly fast. Usually in my experience they are always late. Gurmeet finished so fast I was shocked. Very informative. Patient in explaining the problem and helping us to understand how to take preventative measures. He was also extremely nice. Was very happy to be serviced by Gurmeet! A great asset to your team.

I don't have hot water. I called reliance and they sent Gurmeet. He was very professional and helpful. He explained what needed to be done and completed the job very quickly. Gurmeet gave us information about the Furnace and gave details about the maintance plan. I was very impressed with the service.

Recently Reliance ran a promotion to have a consultant come to our house and review our current A/C and furnace setup for possible replacement.

Jayson N. was the consultant that visited us. He was prompt, courteous, professional and seemed well informed. He helped us understand the options available and in the end, although we decided to stay with what we have for now, it was more our own personal timing that influenced the decision. Jayson's followup was prompt and thorough.

I had very good home service with Shae # 2506.
He called me before to check the furnace.
He found the problem and ordered the parts.
He came athe following night and Installed the parts.
The furnace is working well.

Wes and Gian Carlo did an amazing job with bringing the heater in and installing it. They were quick, efficient and did not make any noise. They were friendly and their job was done well. I would recommend them to anyone

Our hot water tank failed and was leaking natural gas, we tried to have Reliance come out and fix it but we required threats from the fire dept to have them come out and repair it. Reliance finally came out when we had 2 fire trucks and 3 police cars and had already evacuated neighbours. They made the decision to replace our ancient tank, it was leaking natural gas so seemed like a the only option. We paid more than $200 in upgrade fees to have the tank installed and signed paperwork that documented only these fees. A few months later, a foundation repair required we move the tank. We called Reliance and after many abusive phone calls we were quoted a $50-75 quote, followed by a $150 moving charge, followed by a second $50-75 quote and a second $150 moving charge to move it back! That was a possible charge of $450 just to move it out and back again. This was more than half the cost of a new tank just to keep renting from them. We tried to negotiate but to no avail so we had no choice but to terminate our service with Reliance. This involved months of phone calls with differing prices and quotes. They finally came to pick up the tank in a Reliance truck with a Reliance work order and a return authorization form signed, then called and told us we still had it and had in fact theived the tank because they had no proof of return. After months of us calling and begging them to search the warehouse for the tank so we could close our account and pay our bill we finally received a bill with a pick up fee, an inspection fee both of which had been quoted to us and we were happy to pay but they had added a second >$160 inspection fee because we had the tank less than a year! No where in our paper work for installing the tank or negotiating the removal is this fee mentioned and after calling 2-3 times to have the fee removed I was told that despite not having my signature or any documentation other than their own company policy, they can add any amount to your bill as long as you don't query them on install of the tank (Diane empl#1983)! I am more than happy to pay what I was quoted but cannot in good conscience allow a company to randomly add charges. I've searched our failure replacement documentation as well as new install contract on the web and can't see this fee mentioned anywhere. I would warn other potential clients that no matter what they tell you on the phone or sign on install be aware they will add more fees and then claim it is according to your "terms and conditions" (Diane emply# 1983). I just want to pay my bill and be done with them. To think I was considering using them for home security - lesson learned!

Furnace stopped working last night. Called Reliance at 6.45AM as we are on the maintenance plan. Promised time was between 8AM and Noon. Ryon called at 8 AM and was here 20 minutes later. Problem analysed and defective parts replaced by 9.30 AM. All work was done clean and professional - and now my home is warming up nicely.

This is now the second time my 7pm-11pm service appointment went unfulfilled by Reliance. I'm beginning to think this is an artificial service appointment time slot .. Coincidence ? You decide. If you book this same timeslot don't expect anyone to show up at your door. Not everyone can afford to take time off work to wait around during a 4 hour window during the day (that's something I expect from Bell or Rogers). Very disappointed given hot water is such a vital service that I am without. Their offshore / late night customer service is flat out rude and inconsiderate.

Chris Shaw was polite and friendly. He arrived on time and finished the repair quickly.
We discussed the home care protection plan for my old furnace and I decided to enrol. I was very impressed that he did not exert any sales pressure but instead advised me of my options and gave me some time to think it over while he worked on my water heater.
I would definitely recommend Reliance, and specifically Chris Shaw as a Trusted Advisor for all thing Reliance-related to anyone I know. It is always a pleasure to encounter friendly and courteous service professionals such as him.
