We had a clogged drain in our basement. On the recommendation of a neighbour we called Matthew. A day later he arrived and he and his crew went to work. They did a fantastic job. The drain is clear and there was no mess left. He even left behind a bag of tree roots to show me what the problem was. I recommend him highly.

We had Matthew fix a broken pipe that led to our outdoor faucet and I was more than impressed with his service. He was able to do the job the next day, was on time and completed the repair faster than I could imagine. The broken pipe was behind drywall and Matthew was able to fix it with minimal mess to the wall and room. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

We had Matthew in to move the pipes and install a new shower tap and nozzle in a basement bathroom we're renovating. He let us know when he'd be arriving and performed the work quickly and efficiently. We have already had him back to install the waterproof membrane in the shower pan and will have him back for any future plumbing needs. We recommend him highly.

My partner knows a little about plumbing, which is really helpful when assessing quotes. Matthew is very professional and friendly and got back to us quickly with a quote for the bathroom and kitchen plumbing rough-ins and venting for our laundry. We got four quotes, ranging from reasonable (Matthew) to ridiculously expensive (larger companies also on this site). Matthew explained what he would do and why, showed up when he said he would, stayed late to finish the job since we were going out of town the next day, and kept to his quote. Don't be deterred if he asks for half the money upfront to buy supplies. He left his tools with us and returned as promised. No problems and excellent service!

We used Matthew on one occasion before and called him in again when we noticed that our tub in the bathroom was leaking. He came over the very same day, identified the problem in 10 minutes and fixed it in less than half an hour. He definitely knows what he's doing and gets the job done at an affordable price. We'll always call him for any of our plumbing needs.

Matt, the owner/operator of Son Plumbing, provided excellent service from my initial phone call to completion of the job. Although the work to be completed was not a huge undertaking, Matt was effcient and did not balk at having to come downtown for a small job. Would not hesitate to hire him again.

I was very impressed with the service provided by Matthew Trace of Son Plumbing! My phone call was immediately answered, and I had an appointment with Matthew within a very short time frame. The faucet that needed replacing was on a bathtub that had been tiled in, and the only access to the back of the faucet was through a small and awkwardly located trap. Other plumbers had given me high estimates and told me I would need to make a second appointment for another day - Matthew wasn't daunted at all! He replaced the faucet quickly, neatly, and at a very reasonable price. Thank you, Matthew!

Matthew was great! He changed 2 toilets & installed a hand held shower in less than using the toilet! He was knowledgeable & was personable. Would recommend him for any plumbing needs.
