After interviewing a few contractors I followed my instincts and went with Birkan and Sahand of The Right Guys. I was looking to do an extensive top to bottom minimalist, high quality, renovation of a large very dated condo. I am delighted with the result. Sahand and Birkan gave a detailed quote and timeline estimate and the value was excellent, renovation completed on time and excellent quality. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

The first time I worked with The right guys was in 2017 when they completed a fairly large renovation in my condo downtown Toronto. They remodelled my kitchen and my master bathroom. I was extremely satisfied with the process from start to finish and the final outcome of the entire project. Birkan is always the first to point out any imperfections that might occur due to design. The right guys are always easy to work with, they allow me to make alterations and small changes without immediately talking about price adjustments. This always made me feel that their first objective is to complete a project with full satisfaction and that they are not just worried about the money. So of course when the conversation of a new renovation came up between my partner and I, The right guys were the first ones we called. I was dealing with another site manager this time but that didn’t stop the company from exceeding my expectations the second time around. Sahand (site manager) always made sure that I felt comfortable with my decisions and warned me about anything that I might have missed. They always cleaned up the site at end of each work they as if the job was complete. Because I had a new born, they had a cleaning crew come every day to clean up the site with vacuum and mop my floors to ensure the house has clean air. I highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for quality and perfection with no aggravation. 

Birkan is professional and efficient. He tells you what to expect and lives up to the expectations.

The job was fairly large (2 story deck) and I had been looking for a contractor for some time. Other contractors were either uninterested or unable to keep their commitments. The Right Guys were responsive (responded to my texts and phone calls) and gave me regular updates on the project's progress.

Birkan also helped find contractors to complete other repair work that was needed on my house.

The family and I were pleased with the exceptional work and workmanship of our finished deck. My wife was so happy with the work that she posted pictures of the progress on Instagram every day.

From the day I received the quote to the completion of the project was about 1.5 months. Fantastic job, Right Guys! I hope that you receive a lot of business - but please try and keep some room for me in your calendar, next summer.

Birkan was easy to deal with from the get go; great communication and a quick quote. Job was done quickly, and exactly as discussed. Would hire again in a heartbeat.

It was a pleasure working with Birkan and his team at The Right Guys on transforming our small backyard to something more usable for this summer. Excellent communication from the start and was always transparent throughout the project as it occurred during the last lockdown and had few days of bad weather. Despite that, Birkan was able to deliver on time and went above and beyond by adding an extra bench and privacy wall with the extra material we had left. He cleaned our property when the job was done and followed up to make sure we were happy with the results. Pricing was competitive and workmanship is excellent. I definitely recommend these guys! They do more than decks so will be looking to them for some landscaping and hardscaping next season. Cheers!

We needed a small landing and stairs replaced. Birkan gave and estimate over the phone and was able to start and finish the job quickly even suggesting some ideas of his own. Overall it is a great job. There was a split board used on the steps but I guess we are lucky to get wood at all.

I was looking for a company to restore my patio at the end of April and came across The Right Guys, who specialize in Decks and Interlocking (amongst other landscaping services). Despite this being a smaller project, Birkan was willing to take it on. He was able to provide me with an immediate quote over the phone, coming by the next day to take a closer look. It was a pleasant surprise when Birkan started a week earlier, around May 6. Staining was done on May 8 and the final cosmetic touch ups were done May 20. All scrap materials and remaining garbage was picked up today (June 4). For our new deck, we opted for wooden posts with aluminum deck railings and a solid stain finish. As we begin using our new patio, we noticed some of the stain dripped and dried on the railings. Fortunately we were able to rub it off ourselves with alcohol.

Overall, we appreciate the work Birkan has done for us, just be sure to confirm the price and details on your contract as there is a possibility you may be charged an extra $150 for garbage disposal. In our case, it was included.

We had the pleasure of working with the right guys team for our deck build, patio stone walkway and new sod. The best part, even with the covid restrictions and items on back order they managed to get everything done ahead of schedule. Both sets of teams stayed late when they had to to get things done. Everything looks great and we can't wait to enjoy our now new yard!!

Quality and fair pricing is what I noticed when I was doing my research for a Landscaping company. Marco was very easy to deal with. They showed up before the time they promised and completed the entire job within 10 days. I would also like to mention that their very transparent with everything, they work open handedly. I was always advised on things I didn’t know how to do which was nice because I didn’t feel like I had to make all the big decisions. Birken was an absolute pleasure to work with and his workers just as pleasant to have around. These guys worked extremely hard, they were great at communicating with us and always available to chat throughout the process if there were any questions. The job started sooner than expected which was an added bonus and the work progressed quickly. We had an idea of what we wanted the finished product to look like, Birken definitely added some creative touches which enhanced the finished look.
