Otie came and checked our house to give us the written estimate. He was a recommended installer from Velux. He gave us pricing and estimates for 4 different sizes and features of skylight.
Because it was a smaller job he was squeezing it in and the weather was starting to get cold. He ended up coming on a weekend. He, along with his crew (three in total) was there over half a day. He did a terrific installation of this deck mounted fixed skylight on the sloped roof of our three storey 100 year old house. Around the time of his installation, we got a leak on the roof at our plumbing stack unrelated to his work. We did not know it at the time and he returned as soon as we called and he diagnosed it and he fixed it for free. We ended up having him do more work installing some new roof vents and a flashing on some plumbing stacks. Very courteous, responsive, responsible, dependable, honest. I highly recommend Otie and his team.

Our house had an ongoing problem with squirrels accessing the house attic through old wood roof siding and living inside it. They would make noise which was very annoying and disturbing to our peace for a long time. No animal service could solve our problem in an effective and long lasting way. We finally decided to call Universal Roofs and talked to Olti - it was the best decision. Olti and his team responded immediately and were very professional in their service from the beginning till the end of the project. What we found exceptional about Olti is how seriously he took the project and persevered till completely solving the problem as if it was his own place. He and his team added a steel siding around the whole roof and kept monitoring the Squirrel issue over almost a month, performing what’s necessary until the problem was solved completely and this at no additional charge from what was initially agreed. Based on this exceptional excellent, effective, friendly and devoted service, I highly recommend Olti’s company Universal Roofs to everyone who expect to be valued as a customer. I called Option when I had wind damage on the siding on one of the walls. He came and repaired the damage and we agreed that more permanent work would have to be done. When I asked him how much this repair would cost , he would only take gas money. Months later he quoted me a very fair price and started the work. As noticed by my neighbours and myself the work that Oltion and his team was meticulous and of high qualitity
