The best way to review the excellent appliance repair job Yevhen did for me is to describe 24 hours last week. My tenants (I live in a duplex in downtown Toronto) reported that their dishwasher was not working and, with my blessing, contacted a repair company I previously used. After learning there would be a 5 day wait for someone to show up, I read a number of HomeStar reviews and settled on Yevhen, whose reviews were all very favourable and reasonably priced. I contacted him on HomeStars after 11:00 pm and heard back from him within minutes. I explained the problem and told him I needed the job done quickly. He said he could come the next day between 5-7 pm to diagnose the problem and agreed to make arrangements directly with my tenants. He kept in touch with me and my tenants through the day and showed up right on time at 5:40 pm. He explained his pricing (very reasonable), quickly identified the problem (a loose control panel) and fixed it all within about 45 minutes. Yevhen was very polite and professional through the whole process and left the kitchen clean and tidy. I was more than happy to pay him and learn that he offered a 3 month warranty on his work. Yevhen also went the extra mile and looked at a microwave in need of repair in my own unit. I cannot say enough about the quality and professionalism of his work. I will definitely be using him for future repairs and have no hesitation giving him my highest recommendation.

Absolutely no complaints! Yevhen phoned me to say he was in my neighbourhood and could do the work earlier than we had previously scheduled. Showed up shortly thereafter, determined the problem and fixed it, all within an hour. Professional and very competent.

Could not be more pleased with the service from Yevhen. He came within an hour of my call - gave me good info as to the problem , fixed it and even helped with a very small problem on another appliance at no charge. I would recommend him anytime .

Yevhen was great! Responded to my messages right away. Was punctual. Very pleasant and respectful. A few small issues arouse during the job and he came up with creative solutions and ran them by us before proceeding. Overall, we could not be more satisfied.

Asks questions only when needed, otherwise just concentrated on work to be done. Very important for us was same day service. Evheniy was able to come the same day and finish everything in one hour. Great, friendly guy.

My fridge had been leaking water during defrost into the bottom of the freezer for months and I'd have to periodically smash it and remove the shards to avoid overflows onto the floor. The dishwasher had become very noisy and something was obviously wrong so we stopped using it. I delayed fixing them due to my anxiety about finding a good new repairman (my last contractor discovery, despite good reviews, led to a nightmare).

Yevhen was the only one of several calls that actually answered the first call, and came the next day. He fixed the fridge right away and ordered the dishwasher parts. He back a couple days later to fix the dishwasher.

Yevhen is quick, thorough, clean, and very nice. I'm glad I found him!

My dishwasher stopped working. I called Yevhen and he came within 3 hours. The problem appeared to be with the control panel (which is VERY expensive to replace) He said he was going to try to reboot the system, that sometimes that will work. To my delight that was successful. He offered a 3 month warranty. He is a very pleasant man and his service was excellent. I was thrilled with my choice of repairman.

Yevhen responded to my request for service very quickly and we were able to set up a service call. My dishwasher did not drain. I sent him the model number so he could bring a new pump if that proved to be the problem. After performing the diagnostic tests to prove that was the problem and that it was not an electrical problem, Yevhen replaced the drain pump. All was done very professionally and carefully as water was involved. An excellent repair.

Finally... I’ve met the appliance service technician I trust and will recommend to family and friends. Yevhen asked all the right questions before arriving to fix my washing machine. Arrived with the right part. Showed the price of the part and labour clearly. There was also a small leak I had not notified, he has now sourced that part and will return with no additional labour cost. Can’t beat that for service and care. Thanks Yevhen.
