The best way to review the excellent appliance repair job Yevhen did for me is to describe 24 hours last week. My tenants (I live in a duplex in downtown Toronto) reported that their dishwasher was not working and, with my blessing, contacted a repair company I previously used. After learning there would be a 5 day wait for someone to show up, I read a number of HomeStar reviews and settled on Yevhen, whose reviews were all very favourable and reasonably priced. I contacted him on HomeStars after 11:00 pm and heard back from him within minutes. I explained the problem and told him I needed the job done quickly. He said he could come the next day between 5-7 pm to diagnose the problem and agreed to make arrangements directly with my tenants. He kept in touch with me and my tenants through the day and showed up right on time at 5:40 pm. He explained his pricing (very reasonable), quickly identified the problem (a loose control panel) and fixed it all within about 45 minutes. Yevhen was very polite and professional through the whole process and left the kitchen clean and tidy. I was more than happy to pay him and learn that he offered a 3 month warranty on his work. Yevhen also went the extra mile and looked at a microwave in need of repair in my own unit. I cannot say enough about the quality and professionalism of his work. I will definitely be using him for future repairs and have no hesitation giving him my highest recommendation.
