The Awning Factory

From 4 awning companies quotes we chose the Awning Factory in Calgary as they provided competitive pricing and left us with the best feeling over all. After visiting the show room we agreed to a slight upgrade to the Classic with Marcesa Beam. As it turns out the Marcesa Beam requires 8 feet minimum of height. As a result the product as installed resulted in a cave like feeling on our 7'8" height installation. The Awning Factory were very quick and professional to resolve the issue and provide a great Awning for our deck. Customer support is critical. My experience shows that the Aning Factory care about their customers. Thank you.

The installation was very professional and timely. We are happy with our awning, however after four years, this summer the remote and awning did not function to open. I called both Jason and randy and while initially, I struggled to get a response, Jason called me back and walked me through the awning troubleshooting over phone. The outside line around the house, it seems is connected throughout to each outlet,so even if one trips, others will be affected. Checked one was tripped, and once that was back on, the awning works fine now. For installation and professionalism, I recommend Jason and Randy.

We used this company for our awning on our patio and the job was well done. But now that the remote and motor not working properly, I have called a number of times and left messages for both Randy and Jason - no one has called me back. What is the point of a ten year warranty if they don't respond?

Installed a 3 season sunroom under an exterior deck. Work was done in a timely and professional manner. Staff were always on time and cleaned up after each day of the job. Would use this company again.

Our awning is beautiful but broken. I've called numerous times and sent several emails. They do not return emails or phone calls. What good is a 10 year warranty then? Terrible service. Happy to retract this if someone would please fix our awning.
Edit - Sept. 27, 2014. I complained to the Better Business Bureau and the Awning Factory finally came by to fix my issue. Too bad I had to go to this length. That said, I've increased my satisfaction rating based on the fix. And, yes, we love our awning too.
