Msj Moving And Auto Transport

I have never been treated so disgustingly and with such disrespect. The driver in charge of the move was so rude and insulting. They were not properly prepared for our apartment and said that they needed an extra mover, but made us pay for his 2 hour cab ride. The office admittedly avoided our phone calls, and when they did speak to us the man, Richard, told me that it was his day off and he didn't want to talk to me and that I should just shut my mouth and pay the movers. He also refused to let me speak to Daniella, the supposed manager. What kind of business speaks to customers like that? They then proceeded to turn their phone off completely.
Before they left our apartment they wanted to be paid for 50% of the job, but refused to accept a cheque or e-tansfer, even though the contract stated that they accepted both. The driver insisted on being paid in cash.
When they arrived at our new home the actual movers did a fine job, and they didn't end up charging us for the cab ride. HOWEVER, once we paid they just left! They didn't tell us they were done (which they weren't, there were still two beds that needed to be assembled and a China cabinet put in the basement) or even let us look in the truck to make sure all of our belongings were gone. When we called them to come back they we're extremely confrontational and the driver threatened to hit us. Their contract clearly states that full payment us due when 75% of the job is done, but they claimed that since we paid that was their indication to leave.
At the end of the day, I was called a racist, insulted and threatened . I am 6 months pregnant with twins and have never been so mistreated. I would NEVER recommend this company to anybody. Save yourself the heartache. It still cost us $500 and we had to call the police twice to calm down the driver. The office was so rude and unhelpful. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The guys were amazing. Friendly, quick and careful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends who are moving.

MsJ shipped my car from Edmonton to Brampton, Ontario. I stuffed all my belongings in the car and I have received with no any damage/lost. The only problem is they charged me extra $200 on top of what they told me via phone before the car was shipped. They should tell the extra charge before hand....

MSJ transported my M5 from Saskatoon to my home in Oakville within 6 days after booking.. Timing was exactly as Danielle described.. I will definitely recommend there service to all
my family and friends..

I needed a couple vending machines moved. I asked if they had the equipment needed to move them (a pallet jack and a lift gate). They assured me that they had the equipment and that they've even moved my type of machine in the past.

I was told to have a $40 cash deposit ready for the drivers then later, after I went to the bank, I was told to send an email money transfer for the deposit. Minor inconvenience but no big deal.

The drivers arrive at the destination address and call me to tell me they're outside. I explain they're at the wrong address and give them the right one. They told me they didn't even have the correct address on file. Whatever, not a big deal.

They finally get to my place to pick up the machines but they show up in a U-Haul. No lift gate. No pallet jack. They call the dispatcher again and I speak to her. She says that I told her it was 300-450 lbs and I didn't mention the equipment. I direct her toward the original email she asked me to send when I called which, of course, had all the correct information.

In the end nothing got moved. My machines were delivered a week late by a different company because MSJ Moving never returned any of my calls when I tried to rebook with the right equipment.

Positive notes:
They did send me my deposit back. The workers that arrived to move it were all polite, professional, and apologetic. Just uninformed.

They were very committed and honest. I recommend these guys specially Danielle, she is amazing.

Extremely happy with the services provided by MSJ and would definitely recommend them! We needed to have a built-in fridge moved from a storage unit to our house. The fridge was extremely heavy and tall and they were one of the few companies that had trucks big enough to be able to transport the fridge upright. The company we had initially booked with to do the move on a Sat. afternoon did not show up and we needed to have the fridge brought in by Monday when the installation was booked for. Despite the fact that it was fairly late on a Sat. afternoon, MSJ found a way to fit us in that very same evening! The crew showed up on time and were very professional - they were extremely careful not to damage anything throughout the entire move. Could not be more pleased with this company and they will definitely be our first choice if we ever need to move.
