Jeff called me very quickly after I posted my job on HomeStars. He was friendly, polite and professional. He booked an appointment and arrived on time and prepared to do the job. I asked him the cost and he explained it in detail. He inspected and cleaned my gas fireplace thoroughly, explained why and what he was doing after every step. I asked him about installing a switch to make lighting it easier every season and he suggested a remote control which can control the temperature. He showed me how it worked and I bought it. He reassembled it carefully and cleaned up after himself. We had a friendly conversation and I enjoyed the experience. He gave me a written receipt with his card and explained the operation of the new remote in detail.

I contacted Jeff through Homestars because my 25 year old gas fireplace wasn't working at all. He responded quickly and was able to work around my scheduled which is a bonus . The pilot light did not come on and the fireplace was neglected by the tenant for a few years. Jeff serviced it and now it works great. He even helped remove a bird’s neat that was blocking the chimney. Great job, very professional and a very nice person!

Our gas fireplace was shutting off intermittently. We called Jeff and he came out the next day. He quickly found the problem was with the switch, which he fixed, and also installed a remote for us which we were very pleased to have.
It is a fairly small room so the remote allows us to control the temperature at all times, so we can have the fireplace on and not get overheated.
Jeff was very knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant to deal with. We would strongly recommend his services and will have him back again to clean and maintain both our gas fireplaces.

Jeff came out (quickly too I might add - within two days) to look at our gas fireplace in our living room. He diagnosed the issue, got it running, explained what might happen in the future as it is an older one, replaced the wall based on/off switch which was causing the problem, vacuumed the unit and tested it all out. Made sure there were no leaks. He explained everything as he went along.

I called TrueFlame to repair my Hayward Pool Heater. Jeff came over two days, replaced a faulty valve, and with that new valve in place was able to properly diagnose the larger problem. He explained that the cost of repairing the larger problem made a new heater the more prudent choice. Even though he wasn't installing the new heater (he focuses on repair), he refunded the cost of the valve. He also showed me where the existing heater was improperly installed (no ground, no check valve) which may have contributed to the corrosion. Jeff is a very straight-up and knowledgeable guy. I just wish he also installed heaters, but he has his hands full with maintenance. Highly recommended.
