Climax Heating & Air Conditioning

Sam came to do an inspection on the furnace that determined the exchange heater possible had a crack so it needed to be replaced. Both the furnace and AC were over 15 years old, so we decided to change the full system and also get a tankless water heater. Sam was great during the intial visit and answered all my questions. I wanted to do my due diligence and I called a few other companies to compare pricing and offering (some also rated 99% in HomeStars). We end up going with Climax because of the professionalism, timely follow up and price. I arranged the date of the visit with Sam and the crew arrived at the time I was told. Moe, Resa and Ramin were also great and very friendly! They did their work very tidy, answered my million questions and put up with me looking at them work. Moe ensured that the installation was done up to code and he was mindful of maximizing the space being used so that I can continue to store my stuff where it was before. I'm very happy that I chose Climax for this job and I'm looking forward to enjoying the products for a very long time!!! So far, I can feel the difference in the heating of the house (it feels much warmer) and the supply of hot water has no difference from my old water heater with the benefit of not having to heat 50 gallons of water all day long. Can't wait for the first bill to come in to see some of the savings :)

Our furnace started leaking water from the gas vent back into the furnace and it was starting to pool. After reaching out to Climax I was contacted same day by Sam. After a quick assessment over the phone, Sam visited us a couple of days later. Sam called ahead to give me notice of his impending arrival which was a nice touch. Sam was very polite, professional in his work and gave me good advice about the furnace. The issue was promptly fixed and we couldn’t be happier.

Our home needed a full system replacement. Furnace, A/C and Hot Water. I called Climax because of the many favorable reviews on this site. Sam quoted the system, we accepted, and the installers were at work within a few days. Our old Toronto semi has a few quirks and complications which was the source a few challenges. They did a fantastic job, and the work looks great. We needed a follow-up visit to correct an issue with the A/C. When I called, a tech was at the door in just a few hours. Great service, great follow-up, quality people. Definitely give them a call.

These guys were right. A few weeks later, my furnace went out. Ali and team came right away and replaced my furnace quickly. We now have a smaller, more efficient unit that I do not have to worry about for 10 years+. Thank you Ali!

A couple weeks after my furnace was replaced, I noticed some water accumulation on the floor. I gave them a call and again, they were here very quickly. This time, Moe identified the root cause was from our old humidifier. He showed me that my humidifier hose was completely clogged. The replacement was quick . Thank you Moe!

My furnace stopped working over the long weekend. I contacted Climax from their strong reviews and I was pleased that I did. From my initial call to the service being complete was around 3 hrs. Unreal. I was up and running in no time. I was given advice for care due to my older furnace and was given non-biased, non-pressured advice on a possible replacement in the future.

The fan on our central air conditioner condenser had stopped working and the unit just hummed and got hot when turned on. I called Climax around 9 a.m. and Sam was there by 11. He quickly identified the problem as a bad capacitor and had it running within ten minutes. He also checked the basement unit to make sure everything was OK there as well. Very happy with the quality and professionalism of their service.

I called them yesterday because my air conditioner stopped working. They offered to send a technician in the evening but since I was not going to be home they scheduled me for mid-day today. The technician Sam called when he was on the way to confirm I was home. He took a look at the AC and quickly determined the faulty part. He replaced it and even cleaned off my AC...all in less than 15 minutes. Everything works great!
