Our home needed a full system replacement. Furnace, A/C and Hot Water. I called Climax because of the many favorable reviews on this site. Sam quoted the system, we accepted, and the installers were at work within a few days. Our old Toronto semi has a few quirks and complications which was the source a few challenges. They did a fantastic job, and the work looks great. We needed a follow-up visit to correct an issue with the A/C. When I called, a tech was at the door in just a few hours. Great service, great follow-up, quality people. Definitely give them a call.

After a tile wall in our bathroom began to crumble away, we decided to replace our old leaky bathroom. We contacted Mat from Spectrum Design and Build to scope out and estimate the work. We agreed to gut the bathroom down to the studs, and build a new bathroom from the walls out. During the design process we found Mat to have a keen eye for bathrooms and he was a great help when choosing materials, fixtures and the layout. Mat is a good communicator and when we decided to move ahead with the job we had a good understanding of the major steps, timeline and cost. The reno began on the agreed date and steady progress was made every day. The progress we saw aligned with the agreed timeline and milestones. A few plumbing and structure problems came up during the job. Mat and his team were able to solve the problems and keep the work going without too much disruption to the schedule. At the end it all came together very well, the bathroom looks great and we are happy with the outcome. A few issues have cropped up since the end of the job and Mat has addressed them straight away. Overall a positive experience, and we'd recommend Spectrum to anyone considering a new bathroom.

Last week some high winds separated a few pieces of aluminium fascia from the side of my house. I contacted a few companies, and Petar from Mallion was the first to respond. Petar and I agreed on a time for him to come by the house to take a look; he communicated that he could likely do the repair at the same time. Petar arrived at the promised time and met with me to discuss the issue and quote the job. We agreed on the quote, and Petar got to work. A short time later the repair was complete! Eventually a few other companies responded to my inquires and asked more dollars to show up at the house for a service call than Mallion's final bill. Overall working with Mallion was an ideal home repair experience. 10/10. I'll be sure to call them again for any aluminium work on the house.

Some existing parging on the house was in disrepair, an old window needed to be covered over, and the chimney needed some TLC. Frank came to house and gave an estimate on the work, which I agreed to. Later on the arranged date Frank and his crew came to the house and got the work done in 1 day as promised. The work looks great, everything was cleaned up and we are happy. The neighbors saw Frank's work and had him do the same on their house a few weeks later.

I tore down my deck to discover a generation's worth of reno debris stashed away under it. Wood, stone, brick, dirt and more, they took it all! Garrison and Chris even crawled under the remaining deck to get at some hidden junk. Great service; I'll be calling them again very soon.
