Two lovely men replaced and rerouted my faulty vent in 2 hours! They solved a huge humidity problem in my laundry room and helped protect my home from a potential fire. Thank you for your amazing service, I wish all my appliances were a dryer so I would never have to deal with other contractors.

Contacted Dryer Vent Wizard for a cleaning as had not been done in almost 20yrs! Tyler and Layton arrived on time (even phoned ahead to let me know they were on their way!), inspected the dryer and took care of the cleaning very efficiently and professionally. They explained everything throughout the process and took a picture of the vent prior to the cleaning so that I could see what needed to be done. WOW is all I can say!!! Tyler and his son came out before the appointment was set up for. They were so friendly, courteous and most important very knowledgable of their field. They explained about the dryer, took a look and in a short time were able to tell me what needed to be done. Once I ok'd it they got to work. Didn't have to make another appointment. I truly appreciate their honesty when I asked if I should have them come annually to clean the vent. They said no - every 3 years should be fine. I met Trevor through my daughter who was having trouble with her dryer and found an article in a local newspaper about dryer venting issues. She was extremely pleased with the service and as I had concerns about venting in my townhouse I had Trevor do service on my dryer. He was extremely thorough and showed me pictures of before and after cleaning. I was horrified to see how much lint was accumulated in my vent. When I used the dryer after the service I couldn't believe how more efficient the dryer was. The improved efficiency of the dryer combined with the knowledge that my vent was clear of lint gave me piece of mind and safety. It was certainly money well spent. We have been having dryer issues for months! Tried a few companies, and could not solve issues...cost us hundreds. This company was recommended. From the day we called them we were optimistic. Very cordial on the phone, and on the day of the appointment, showed up on time!

They know their stuff, explained everything, and even took dozens of pictures to explain everything, and show us the before and after. They have saved us a bundle each month on energy costs. I will never call anyone else to look at my vents!

Our dryer has not been drying well for about a year. I would try and clean out the vent opening outside the house but it didn't help. I just didn't feel good about the dryer and once in awhile I would hear news stories about fires caused by dryers. One day when I was reading the Thornhill Liberal, I saw a Dryer Vent Wizard ad. I knew this was the service I was looking for. But what I didn't know was how good this service actually was. Tyler called ahead of the appointment to ask if he could come early. He showed up shortly after with a pair of booties to cover his shoes so as not to ruin our floor. He then inspected the situation. He opened up the dryer to the motor and showed us that the area was full of lint. He also told us that the foil venting we had was not up to code and could cause a fire. Tyler explained everything to us, took pictures before and after as well as tested air flow at various points during his cleaning. When he was finished, the inside of our dryer around the motor looked brand new. The air flow doubled and the new venting line was a smaller more compact tubing which allowed the dryer to be pushed closer to the wall giving the laundry room a better esthetic. This was the icing on cake. I would have been happy even if the dryer wasn't pushed back but wow! Tyler is very professional, providing great information. He really knows his stuff!! I quickly recommended him to my mom who used his service a few days later with the same great results. I can't say enough good things about Tyler and the Dryer Vent Wizard. This was the best money spent. I truly have peace of mind. More people need to be made aware of the service that the Dryer Vent Wizard provides BEFORE they start having a problem with their dryer that could lead to a fire. I highly recommend the Dryer Vent Wizard! I am so glad I had this service done. I wish I had done it earlier! The cost will be offset by the energy saved by a more efficient dryer!

We wanted to make sure our vents were safe. Tyler arrived on time. Checked out our dryer suggested what we should and shouldn't do (less then we expected). This is the second time I've had Tyler clean out my very long dryer hose (second floor laundry room that vents out at the ground floor). I always worry about lint build up because of the long length of the pipe. He cleaned out a ton of lint, and also cleaned a huge amount of lint out of the dryer itself that the trap wasn't catching. Showed me that I needed a new lint trap. My air speed coming out of the vent went from 14 mph to 21, meaning my dryer will be more efficient. Very friendly and efficient. I sleep better knowing that a potential fire hazard has been avoided.

I was very impressed with Tyler and am very happy that I chose to have him come. Not only did he clean out the dryer ducts/vents (for 2 dryers) but he alerted me to the potential for fire with the existing foil venting. He replaced this with safer materials. He also noticed that I was missing a shut off valve for the gas line to one dryer which he confirmed was necessary by calling a gas outfitter. Tyler provides and excellent and important service.
