Dryer Vent Wizard Of York Ontario

An old house in downtown Toronto, split into multiple units, and a nightmare patchwork of old dryer vents. It was only by chance that the guy servicing my furnace noticed the build up of lint. So, off to Homestars, Dryer Vent Wizard came to the rescue.

The second they showed up exactly on time, I knew that they were the right choice. The father-son team were professional, knowledgeable, and respectful. They took a nasty request, and solved my problems with no complaints. They taught me so much about the hazards of dryer-fires, and how easy they are to start, and what it takes to fix them.

If you live in an older house, are a landlord, or if you can't remember the last time you had your vents cleaned/serviced, I can't recommend Dryer Vent Wizard enough. Thanks guys!

I had a great experience with Tyler. He arrived on time, ran diagnostics and suggested multiple options. There was no pressure at all, Tyler took the time to explain the current state of the dryer. He was well equipped and did re-wiring of the dryer's hose leaving the place very clean. I had a question couple of days later and he called me back the same day, which was great. I will definitely recommend this company and will use their services in the future.

Had an excellent service call from Leighton, the service technican who was professional, efficient and knowledgeable on reviewing my 2 dryer lines and what was necessary. For the time and service provided, I feel it was good value on a necessary cleaning.

Tyler called before arriving to let me know when he would be here. He quickly assessed the problem, took photos to show me exactly. He was very professional and courteous. Knew exactly what he was doing and explained fully what needed to be done to fix the problem. Gave me a quote quickly and then proceeded to do the necessary work. He showed me photos of his work in progress and completed. I could not be happier with his work and could not believe my dryer, dryer vent and dryer exhaust were 95% plugged because the original installation was not done to code. It is now and I know I will not have a fire due to the huge build up of lint, my hydro bill will go down as the dryer is working efficiently and I don't have to replace my dryer. It even sounds different. So instead of taking 2 hours to dry a load of clothes, it now takes 20 minutes. Thank you for a job well done.

shortly after moving into our "new-to-us" home, a portion of my basement ceiling fell through due to water damage and it became clear the leak originated from my dryer vent line. Dryer Wizard was recommended by my contractor (I will admit I didn't know such a company existed!) Tyler arrived on time (even calling to let me know of his imminent arrival) and walked me through exactly what he would be inspecting. Once the inspection was complete, he shared all the pictures with me and ensured I understood each item that needed to be addressed - which included replacing vent lines not up to code, damaged vent lines, cleaning the vents and my dryer. All the work was done quickly that same day and again, once complete, Tyler shared with me the "after" pictures. I couldn't be more pleased with the professionalism and quality work provided.

Tyler was incredibly professional and competent and demonstrated what he was correcting so that we were knowledgeable for the future and our family safety. He said we were one of the few clients to contact him proactively but I wish his services were mandatory for all dryer installations and home acquisitions and rentals. Shame on hardware and department stores for continuing to stock flexible foil and plastic vents for dryers! This was probably the best, most professional service call we have ever had. Tyler even wore booties to keep our floors clean which was indicative of his respectful and courteous manner. Thank you Tyler for your incredible service!

I contacted Dryer Vent Wizard in my region and was given Patrick. Since I was looking for a lengthy camera inspection to my 30+ feet of duct piping, Patrick recommended Tyler who had the equipment notwithstanding that he serviced areas outside my region. Both Patrick and Tyler were prompt, responsive and quick at following up with me even on weekends. In the end, it was decided that Tyler would come out and immediately after he arrived he found a number of issues that needed correction eliminating our fear that we might have to open up ceilings to source the problem. He repaired the venting behind my dryer installing proper metal piping, followed by a full cleaning of the lengthy exhaust pipe all the while viewing with the camera where the issues were (mainly vent pipe was put on backwards by the HVAC installers in past), and then at the end of the system repairing the external escape and ensuring the venting was up to code. The job took 2.5 hours in sweltering heat of the midday. Tyler was professional, experienced, engaging and very "by the book" to ensure optimal service, quality and best results. I could not find a better person or company to deal with the venting problems and am very pleased with Dryer Vent Wizard! I would unequivocally recommend this customer service oriented company and their exemplary staff who really know their business and know how to treat clients with the utmost of respect and positive engagement. Pricing was fair and very reasonable.

Tyler Johnson was very knowledgeable, patient, and answered all of our questions. He did the cleaning, minor repair and took the time to explain everything that he was doing before it was done and provided pricing upfront. He is truly one of the great ones out there performing services in peoples homes. I would recommend him to everyone I know!!!!
