Tony warned me the job would be more difficult as there were already walls in the basement, but felt they could do a good job hand polishing the edges. I requested a medium sheen. Unfortunately, they did not seal off the rest of the house so my entire house was full of concrete dust in no time! When the job was 'complete' he brought in some random cleaner who did not have the necessary equipment, used my vacuum which fried the motor ($800 mistake), and left me with a floor that has virtually no sheen and numerous areas with pits. I think they're used to working in unfinished garages, not houses.

I had water damage in my loft bedroom. I originally had carpet and wanted to change to polish floors. I decided to forget dealing with the contractors provided by insurance (as they were too pricey) and luckily came across Unique Touch. I called a few contractors but as soon as I spoke to Tony from Unique I felt I could trust him and the team as they knew what they were talking about from the onset. Next, Edson came for the estimate and he was super helpful too with his advice. I was booked within 2 weeks. Ryan and his partner (wish I knew his name) completed the job. My husband, baby and I left our home for two days and let them complete the job. I appreciated their HONESTY & TRUSTWORTHINESS. They were early on the job, kept me in the loop all day and ensured security/concierge locked up after each day.

I have had work done in our place and some ppl are just awful and leave a mess behind. I was SUPER PLEASED that there was no mess to come home to and a amazing super clean job. I LOVE ❤️ the new floor in my bedroom.
They did a really good job matching the bedroom floor to the rest of my cement floors in the loft.

They also provided me with dos and DONTs to maintain the floor, which I really appreciated. from start to finish they did great.

Tony and his team were very punctual and professional. I received regular updates during construction and never received any unpleasant surprises. My basement slab looks so shiny now.

Unique Touch was very clear in communicating the price, the timing, and the product that they deliver. The quality of the floor exceeded our expectations.

Tony and his team were courteous, reliable, did meticulous work and cleaned up after themselves. Tony advised us before proceeding with the job that the area in our basement where there had been tile for decades might show a checkered pattern once they polish the concrete. The mortar stains the concrete all the way through so it can't be polished out. In our situation it did. Our advise to anyone wanting the polished concrete look be mindful that the state of your concrete ultimately decides the end result. Tony and his team are outstanding but they can't change the concrete.

I initially contacted Tony of Unique Touch Concrete Design about 6 months ago to discuss doing a polished concrete floor in our basement. We were in the early stages of an extensive 11 month renovation project at the time.

Tony was more than happy to answer all of my questions and provided insight into how we should proceed when our new basement slab was going to be poured (by another company). He was tremendously helpful in this regard.

That said, I couldn’t be happier with the end result - the polished floors look incredible and we are very pleased with Unique Touch.

Tony’s crew were very professional. They were the first crew to arrive on site everyday and went about their business with complete professionalism and attention to detail. I have had numerous trades on site during the Reno and they are as good as it gets.

They were very respectful to our property and also cleaned the site before leaving everyday. Something of a lost art these days.

We had a very positive experience with Tony and would strongly recommend him to anyone considering doing any concrete work. They are first rate.

They were great and got the job done earlier than expected. They were sensitive to our situation with Tenants above. They accommodated with what we could provide in term of power and were great communicators!

Wonderful experience with Tony and his crew. We’ve had some amazing “above and beyond” trades work on our project and Tony has definitely stood out amongst them.
