WOW KUDOS GOES TO THE DESIGNER & BUILDING MATERIAL SELECTOR. ALTHOUGH A LITTLE DELAY IN THE TIME FRAME OF COMPLETION, I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK QUALITY & QUANTITY THIS COMPANY PROVIDES.
THEIR SELECTION OF BUILDING MATERIAL REQUIRED FOR OUR BASEMENT WAS OUTSTANDING!
i AM NOT A BASEMENT PERSON BUT SINCE THE COMPLETION OF OUR BASEMENT BY AGM I SPEND MOST OF MY LEISURE TIME IN THE BASEMENT.

Their work was good but they were so behind with the agreed time line and they tried to charged as much as they can on top of the agreed renovation cost.

Decent job overall, but process could have been a bit clearer up front. Things like what was standard vs upgrade, actual timeline (which is not 3 weeks, despite the fact that they work 6 days a week) , etc., would have made the experience a bit more enjoyable. Finished product is nice though, despite it coming in more costly than originally anticipated.

I will update this review or post a new one when work is completed - whenever on earth they finish it. Have paid most of the money till now, and they have only worked for like 5 days since starting on 19th May. Customer service is pretty much non-existent, and they bounce you from one person to other, but no one really is owning up to it. Extremely disappointed by putting my faith into them, feeling locked. Very sloppy and unprofessional. I wish I did some more research on them, pretty positive some of the positive reviews are fake.

WE WERE HESITATING AND SCARY TO DO OUR BASEMENT BECAUSE WE HEARD A LOT But WE WENT TO NET TO SEE THE REVIEWS OF COMPANIES WE CHOOSE 3 companies with free inspection and by exclusion and also we saw an 2 open basements for AGM company we decided to go with them. We are so happy now after finishing our basement their work is excellent and they are really professional and I advise all those that I know to go with this company if they want to do their basement.

It was a pleasure dealing with this company. Even though it was not quite 3 weeks as they promised, the work done was exceptional and they were very professional. The process was seamless from beginning to end and we are very pleased with the results. Thank you AGM

We hired AGM to finish the basement in our Investment Property in Markham.

Overall, the work completed was done very well and we are quite happy with the finished product.

One critique is to carefully review the quote and make sure all of the items you think you may want are included as once the work starts any additions or changes that you may have thought were included could be charged as extras.

Also, since the home was vacant it allowed AGM to come whenever they needed, however, as a result we never really knew who was in charge or if we had any questions we weren't clear on exactly who the project manager was.

Their process of selecting your finishes was much like going to a Decor Centre for a New Builder Home purchase which was very convenient. The designer we had was helpful, however, once construction had commenced it became clear that the plans she had drawn could have been better prepared if she had visited the actual home instead of going off measurements provided to her from another person - we had to make a few changes to the plans based on plumbing location, duct work etc. that she was not aware of.

As a final thought, good professional company, great quality of work, slightly priced at a premium but for the convenience of knowing exactly what you will be getting it may be worth it for some.

When you first meet with them they are awesome.
Zero customer services and communication with clients.
The finished product takes longer then 18 days so be sure to read the fine print if you are in a hurry, they will start threatening you to pay. Overall the basement finished project is good. This would be a 5 start review if the head office was better. Maria in customer service does not return calls or email or even let you talk to Senior Management.
The main problem is customer service I have send so many emails to resolve my issues but no luck they just need money zero customer service

I was very happy and satisfied by the work done. The project was completed on time and it looks great. All tradespeople were polite and professional and the whole process was completed without any difficulties. I would definitely refer my friends and family to them.
