Planned on replacing 20 year old fireplace, Richard said it is good to continue heating and when breaks down he will be ready to replace as holds inventory and has a file with my required information.

Richard Jr. came to service our fireplace one night after normal business hours. After my husband told him what the issue was he got to work. We need to replace two small parts. When that was done he went to start it and it did not start. He took a valve (I think) out and it had a spider web in it. Once he cleaned it our the fireplace worked great. He was very honest about what was wrong and gave us the best option to fix the fireplace. I appreciate his honesty and that he did not just say it is old and should be replaced. If that had been the only option we would look at replacing it but it is not a good time given the economy. Also, the gentleman who answers the phone at the shop is always very friendly. We have used this company twice now for repairs and have had no issues.

My gas fireplace needed parts and wasn't working. Single Lady needing help received amazing customer service, Richard Jr. was the service technician and Bob was my first contact person. I would recommend this company and technicians to any person looking for help with their fireplaces.
I was thinking I would have to replace this fireplace and that wasn't the case. They assessed the situation first and then recommended the parts needed. I believe this gas fire place is 15 years old. I didn't like the brass trim on the outside of the window, and Richard simply popped them off. He smiled and said 80's look gone! LOL I was so impressed and laughed at the same time. Scheduled a service call for my Gas fireplace. Fireplace Plus techs arrived early and completed the work removing the components, cleaning them, replacing a part and then troubleshooting a clogged nozzle. Took a bit of time but the work was completed and the fireplace was burning like new.
