Polar Spas

A friend had given me his older Polar Spas hot tub after he upgraded to the swimming model. The hot tub was not completely drained over the winter and sustained some damage to the plumbing. I contacted Polar Spas to get information on this model and replacement parts. Doug was extremely helpful and very quick to provide a quote, the parts needed and offered some suggestions so that I repair this properly. The two guys working at the store were also very helpful and knew a lot about the model I have even though it is 10 years old. It definitely boosted my confidence in repairing my hot tub knowing the support is right there and they are happy to help. They gave me some good information as well as a great alternative if I find the job too overwhelming and decide to purchase a new hot tub. Absolutely zero pressure to buy a new one. This hot tub is older and doesn't have the latest features and, even though there are other stores closer to me, I will drive the extra distance to Polar Spas to buy our next tub.

I love my hot tub! The APG system is so simple to use, the water is always clean and fresh. The best part is the staff at Polar Spas has always been helpful with any questions I have had regarding cleaning and maintenance. I would recommend Polar's sales and service to anyone wanting an amazing spa and experience.

We decided to purchase a polar spa after their sales pitch at the 2013 edmonton boat and sportsman show (March). We excitedly ordered it up and were informed that as it was a custom color (which they sucked us into after "upgrading" to this awesome color for free), it wouldn't be ready until early may. Not problem, we had to upgrade our deck first anyways. May rolled around, didn't hear from them so we called and were given the run around, couldn't find our order, oh you bought it at the show, that's a different department, the salesman is on holidays... Only to then be told wi th a laugh that it would be at another 6 weeks. Not funny. June rolled around, no word from anyone, finally we called in the last week of June, our salesman is on holidays, call this head office number...no one ever returned my call. I just want to cancel it no buy from a reputable company, but am worried I've just been jipped out of $6,000+ As we put down a 50% dep. No one will call us back, I do not recommend ever dealing with this company!!!!!!

My husband was turning the big 4-0 this year! I knew I really wanted to get him something for his man-cave, but wasn't really sure what to buy. I did an online search for home bars, and came across Polar Spas. Upon entering the South location I was blown away by the show room and immediately greeted by a woman offering me coffee. I was helped by Chris Shaw (the owner) and shown a wide variety of bars and mirrors, however, it was a craps table that caught my eye. So cool! It is a dining table, poker table and craps table all in one. I was sold. It would be perfect for my husband and his friends (seats 6), and a great table for me to do my card making on when he isn't home. Shhhh. Don't tell. I bought the craps table, and it was delivered within 3 weeks. Best part - my husband LOVES it! Thank you Chris and Polar Spas.

I had a hot tub from the competition and got absolutely ZERO after sales service. I traded it in at Polar Spas in October 2012. From the second I walked through the door, and even now, 6 months later, was the best decision I made. Exceptional service. I could not even start to tell you the best part about my hot tub, the list goes on and on. I would highly recommend you to my friends, and I have.

We purchased a brand new home this year and really needed some new patio furniture for our deck. We had looked a few places but the styles were not what we wanted and the order times were long or no new merchandise till the next spring.We found a gorgeous wicker set at Polar Spas - we were surprised to find out that Polar Spas sold deck furniture? What we chose is very functional and comfortable. We ordered a 3-seat "couch" and two separate chairs with large cushioned ottomans. We added two wicker coffee tables with glass tops to the grouping and we have ourselves a great set up for conversing. After looking at a plan of our deck the sales person suggested we would have room for a small glass topped wicker dining table with four chairs. We bought that too and it is great for dinners by the BBQ. We also bought a matching wicker storage box for the cushions. The price was quite reasonable considering it came with Sunbrella fabric and a tarp for every piece of furniture was included. The delivery time turned out to be only about three weeks. We broke a piece on the storage box in a heavy wind and had the new piece in less than a week. We just love sitting out on our deck in the evening and watching the ducks swim on the pond. We also just placed an order for an umbrella - as we get a lot of sun in the afternoon. It is a great match for our set. It is nice to deal with a local company.Thanks Polar Spas!

With all the choices and all the sales pitches indicating why one companies tub is better than another, the experience of purchasing a hot tub for the first time was confusing to say the least. That is until my fiance and I met Doug at Polars Spas on 99 street in Edmonton. From the moment we walked in we were treated with respect and at no time were we pressured into any decisions. Every question was answered in a way that we understood, and there was never an attempt to purchase anything we didnt need or want.Once our selection was made, we were walked through the process of ordering and were told what would happen upon delivery and set up.This part of the review is the one we are most proud to be able to write. The delivery and set up of our new tub was a challange at best, we had extremely difficult access to our back yard, and it appeared after an hour and a half that we may not be able to make it happen. That is when the delivery men began building a ramp to go over our side yard raised window well in order to facilitate their dolly being able to complete the job. The two individuals who delivered our tub were consimate professionals and at no time was there so much as a mumble about the difficulty of the job at hand. Almost 2 1/2 hours after they arrived, our tub was in our back yard and the electrician was completing the set up. Throughout the entire process from sale to set up, Polar Spas has exceeded our expectation and we could not be happier!If you are considering a hot tub, I would suggest that your first, and last stop, be Polar Spas!Outstanding! And to Doug and his team, JOB WELL DONE!!!
