Windows By Installer

Our sales rep, Steve, showed up on time for the quote and told us what to expect. We had been to the show room and seen the windows up close. While installing, it was discovered that the door hadn't been made correctly so they just went to their warehouse where it was manufactured and corrected the situation. It was still installed on time and it is perfect. So glad we chose Windows by Installer and can't wait to have them install more windows in our home next year.

Steve made several trips to our home to explain his services and worked with us on style and color, type of windows and doors. He was very professional and explained his services in great detail. He brought samples of the windows and doors to us and spent a great deal of time helping to decide which products would be best for us.
His communication as we went through this process was excellent through phone calls, emails and visits. He sent his head window installer out to meet us to measure and to answer any of our questions. The window crew also was excellent and very accommodating, did a wonderful job and cleaned up perfectly after they we were finished. Pleasantly the windows were all installed around our house in one day. Once the door was received it was installed in one day as well.
We would not hesitate to use Windows by Installer again in the future and would recommend them highly.

I originally called to get an estimate for replacing a window in the entryway. The owner, Alex, came out personally to take measurements and quote a price. While he was here, he noticed another window with a broken seal in our loft and recommended replacing it at the same time since the labor charge would be the same. The windows were ready in about 3 weeks. The installers arrived promptly on time as scheduled and went to work right away. The full size window is on the 2nd story in the entryway which I thought would make the work a bit challenging but they took care of it quickly and without any problems. Both windows were replaced in under one hour and they left no mess. I will definitely use them again for any window replacement work and would recommend them to anyone.

We had our windows installed a year and a half ago. One benefit of writing the review long after the windows are brand new and shiny, is a perspective on how the windows have performed through a couple of weather cycles. A very professional process from start to finish. Beginning with the initial sales presentation from their representative, Steven, through the final installation, we were very pleased with WbI. Steven took the time to explain the construction of their product and provided a list of recent installations that we were able to drive by to see how the finished product looked. He didn't pressure us to sign at the initial presentation and came back a week later to answer a few more of our questions. The installers were efficient and cleaned up their work every day before leaving (the installation took about three days). At the end, the job supervisor pointed out two windows that he didn't feel fit exactly right (although we couldn't tell) and ordered replacements at their cost. They were back to install them about three weeks later. Bottom line, we remain extremely happy with our decision to use WbI. The windows still look great, they are easy to clean and we noticed an immediate difference in our electric bill. You won't regret considering Steven and his company.

These a really nice guys and I enjoyed dealing with them. One of them was on site during the project and I was able to contact them at all times. I have a few more windows and some renovations that I have planned and would like to use them for. The windows were installed and look good. I had a minor concern about the woodwork around a basement window and asked them to come and take a look which they did and did some extra work on. Responsive, though it did take a couple of calls.

The work was done in a timely manner starting with the windows. The two men doing the windows were very knowledgeable, polite and cleaned up after completing their job. The siding was next & there was a crew of about 4 or 5 men. They got rained out on the afternoon of the first day, but stayed and worked about 13 hours the second day to complete the job. The gutters & downspouts were next. We were not scheduled for that day (A Friday with rain in the forecast for the weekend) but two men that live in our area were asked if they would stop on their way home to put up our gutters and downspouts witch they did and completed the job on our home. Steve was who we dealt with and he followed up on every stage of the project. He would call if he had a crew scheduled, to make sure they had arrived on time. Any call we made to him was returned in a timely fashion. He has a good customer relationship with his clients. Windows by Installer does so much more than just windows, call them and you won’t be disappointed.

Now that the Holidays are behind us I want to share our experience in dealing with Windows by installer. Alex arrived at the appointed time and measured our screened porch for 10 windows to convert porch to a three-season room. While pricing out the project he determined that he could provide an upgraded window for less than his manufacturer's entry grade window. He took the time to check that possibility after he had already priced the entry-level window. While this company’s’ quote was not quite the lowest of the three bids we had in hand we went with them because of Alex’s professionalism, the reputation of the manufacturer of the windows and Windows by installers 20 years in business and a high rating on Homestars. The installation was made less than four weeks after the contract was signed and was highly professional. The windows fit perfectly, look even better than we hoped for, and the final installation looks as though it was part of the initial construction of this 33 year old porch.

I meet with Steve from Windows By Installer to obtain estimates on installing new windows in my home. He gathered all the information that he needed and a couple of days later he called me back with his estimates. I did not make a decision at that time as I was waiting on another bid. After I received the remaining bid, I met with Steve to discuss the details again. He was offering me higher quality products at good prices and Windows By Installer had good ratings/reviews. I decided to accept his offer. He had two staff members come out and remeasure the. They ordered the materials and about 5-6 weeks later they came out to install the windows. They didn't tell me that they were installing the siding the same day they were replacing the windows, but that didn't end up being a problem. The crews installing the windows and siding were unsure as to which type of capping I had requested around the windows and fascia/rakes. I told them what I had requested and they had someone go get the right product without any hesitation. The window and siding crews were very polite and courteous. They definitely gave me a sense of confidence that they knew how to do their jobs well. It rained in the afternoon, but the guys waited it out and got back to work after the hard rain was over. The weather wasn't very nice but they didn't complain. The window crew was able to complete all 12 window replacements in one day. The siding crew took 2 days to complete the job. Tearing off the wood shake shingles was a mess, but they cleaned it all up and hauled off all the debris. I am very happy with how my house looks. All the staff at Windows By Installer did a great job from start to finish. Steve truly does want you to be a satisfied customer and will do everything he can to make that happen. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

Steve was very informative when we were pricing windows. Their prices were very competitive and actually the lowest of the 4 companies we interviewed, and their window was the best quality that we were looking for in our price range.
It took about 6 weeks from the time we ordered to the time of installation. The installers were very professional and finished in one full day, working around our kids' nap times and being very conscientious of their work in the house. It was a very good experience from start to finish.

The whole experience was good. What surprised me was them dealing with the cold. They came out anyways. They came out and did the job well. I am more than satisfied and so is my wife. My wife and I were extremely thrilled and happy with our windows. It wasn't in our budget for the windows that we did have, but with 0% financing, we thought we might be interested. We have 2 very large windows that we are seriously thinking about replacing and we will use Windows by Installers again. They did a good job in every realm and I am really satisfied with their work. I will give them good references to family and friends for work in the future.
