I had a humidifier installed by Ultra Comfort and then the next year there was a problem with water not getting into the system. I called up Ultra Comfort and over the phone they seemed to know what the problem was (Solenoid Valve) and they were going to order the part but because it was the Christmas season they wanted to wait until the new year. So I waited a week and called back and they called up their supplier and found out that the part was on backorder but they would try their other suppliers. But my unit was still under warranty so there would be no charge to get it replaced.
After going back and forth calling almost every week, they finally said they were getting the part shipped and it would take a couple more weeks. However, the part ended up getting sent back because the supplier moved or something. And then for whatever reason the part would take a month to be sent again!
So I waited again and when the part was expected to arrive, I started calling again. On several occasions I had to follow-up even though they said they would call me back the same day to confirm. They had no idea what part they were expecting, and it sounded like I was never in their system for buying the humidifier. Then I was told that my part was going to be about $90 and my unit wasn't under warranty!
I did a search for the part myself on Amazon and other web stores and there are plenty out there that are easily accessible. So I ended up wasting 2 months of my time waiting and calling, when I could have just gone ahead and purchased the part myself!
UPDATE: I bought the part off of Amazon, it arrived in one week, and I installed it myself within 20 minutes. Problem solved!
I would definitely NOT use their services again.
